I use the same strategy, s&r and trend lines. I also use channels. Trading within the channels on a shorter timeframe allows me to compound much faster. I also use rsi, macd, as well as sma 20,50, 200, and 9 ema.

Also great to hear your branching out and trying swing trading let us know how it goes, I’m also in a swing with a couple index ETF’s where I set a buy order and ended up getting in $8 cheaper then I expected, this was when index’s were at lows. Good to look for companies that over bought or over sold.

if you switch to tradovate your margins will be much lower.. like mini ES is only $500 per contract all day and all night except for 1 hour between 4 and 5 CL crude oil is only $2000 on tradovate
Since you are a crude trader in large part do you read about fundamentals/current news on crude? Do you trade ahead of crude reports or right after crude reports? IMO there is NO holy grail in trading. Whatever works for you or someone else is how that person should trade. It is much easier to tear down than to build up. The only person that really know if their strategy works is that person themselves....Great content and keep doing your thing........

looks like you can navigate "trading view" very well! ive been struggling to set up a scanner to alert crossovers above a 9 period simple moving average on 1/3/5 min time frames. it would be a great way to weed thru hundreds of high volume setups. any suggestions?

Takes time to get to know yourself and sometimes the market is in your favour when you start… keep grinding till you get it. Paper practice first peeps and start your notebook.

nice, if it works for u and pays the rent, dont fix it. Im mostly a long term investor, but i trade from time to time. When i trade i use Fib + DMI + some lines, my strat pretty basic too. I can take a week or more maybe from the moment i go long or short to the moment i close it.

The more indicators people need the less they know trading. The best/most profitable people I know only use money flow/volume and trendlines. Thats really all you need. Yeah are fib levels nice have, yeah, but you dont NEED it. Youre doing great, keep it up cause the people talking shit are probably not profitable :)
Do you wait for a breakout candle to close before you enter a trade or do you enter right as soon as you see the candle breaks out of a trend line?
No I don’t wait for the candle to close. I trade in a 60 min time frame and get in as soon as price breaks

You can set alerts on your trend lines on TradingView so you don’t need to be watching the chart all day

it would be nice to see a group with all kind of traders and share their strategies and improve the group members strategies....Im a trader for 4 yrs allready and I start in the same way as you and now I am developing strategies based on technical indicators on the side of support and resistance followed by trend lines.
That would be neat to have real traders share there strategies. That way we all can gleen something from each other an still trade our own style. Like me I trade individuall candles , and at night, from 6pm to whatever time I want to go to bed, biggest moves happen at night if you look it up statistically with futures especially the es 500

I am more of a scalper Day Trader. I always trade the 1min, 3min, 5min time frame and use the higher time frames as a guide of direction. It seems like you are trading for the longhaul.

Yeah I use TradeStation! Love them! Great for futures and superrrrr cheap commission
@@ToriTrades so I tried to trade with some of the commodities like oil and gold using TradingView via a TradeStation account but it said the symbol is not available at TradingView via TradeStation. Did you come across that before? It was on commodities you trade like micro crude oil futures.
after 7 years i this business i can tell that the most important is consistent strategy , one that work years statistic ! no matter how low the % of succ. i have a teacher that have 55\60 % succ but he trading with this 20years and he have 8% in month average , 100% profit every year so... you got the point [ :

Ok it’s fine, you trade breakout but how do you manage your risks because when you take position on one hour chart, the pullback can be huge. Thanks for sharing your time. Btw, I liked what you said in the previous video, the better your entry will be, the faster you will be profitable! Amen 🙏
My stop loss will usually go on the other side of the new trendline. Hard to explain I’ll make some videos about it soon!! That’s a great question

I am sorry to bother you with another question but you just told me you use trade station but I watch one of your recent video and you said you where done with trade station I just want to make sure because I am thinking about getting into futures and I am looking around what platform is good
Trade station is my broker and I’ll with them for many years to come love the broker. But I do not use their platform to place my trades anymore. I connected my trwde station account to trading view and I now use trading view to place my trades. But trade station is still my broker. Hope they made sense :)

I’ve definitely done a few livestreams with live trades open. But most of my trades last hoursssss it wouldn’t be a very exciting stream to show the open and close. This week I held a swing trade all week.

The logarithmic scale is a little confusing. If you enable logarithmic scale it kinda changes evertything. Anyways, this channel is very useful. Keep it up!
