Very much appreciated. Curiously searched her full name on my browser and found her site top search, no bs.. 31 years of experience is certainly striking! She owes me a fiduciary duty to act in my best interests. I set up a call to use her services.

I have a 3 fund portfolio consisting of 33% S&P, 33% Total stock, and 33% international. I feel a need to focus on complete growth so I went 100% stocks, but does the SP500 and TSM overlap too much to make sense holding both? However I’ve been in the red for a month now. I work hard for my money, so investing is making me a nervous sad wreck. I don’t know if I should sell everything, sit and just wait but watching my portfolio of $450k dwindle away is such an eye -sore.
There are many other interesting stocks in many industries that you might follow. You don't have to act on every forecast, so I'll suggest that you work with a financial advisor who can help you choose the best times to purchase and sell the shares or ETFs you want to acquire.
@@sherryie2 I agree, that's the more reason I prefer my day to day investment decisions being guided by an advisor seeing that their entire skillset is built around going long and short at the same time both employing risk for its asymmetrical upside and laying off risk as a hedge against the inevitable downward turns, coupled with the exclusive information/analysis they have, it's near impossible to not out-perform, been using my advisor for over 2years+ and I've netted over 2.8million.

been studying trading for a couple of months now and the sentence "By the 18th 5min bar of the day there is a 90% chance the market has made its high or low" is the most useful thing I have heard. Knowing that just provides so much context and opportunity to get into better trades especially with added confluence. just did a quick check on E-mini NQ, 5 min chart at the open of the past 10 days. The statement "By the close of bar 18 (90min) 90% chance the day has already made either the H or L" is false.
This guy is definitely very bright being a doctor and trading for four decades really knows his craft

That is all of the knowledge you need to trade, study that and then don't get in your own way. If you find the books too difficult, slow down, take your time or buy his video course lol

As of 8-22-23, in the ES, the first 18 bar range was not crossed both up AND down 62.4% of the time over the last year (i.e., broke high and low of that range 95 days out of the year). Over the last 5 years, the high or low was in by bar 18 on 67.2% of days. Not quite 90%.
Question, Do you know which timeframe he is using? And When is he starting the day? He said 8:00 am is 90 mins into the trading day. HOW If he is in CAli the market have been opened 2.5 hours ago on the east coast, excluding premarket.

I don't think you backtested properly. He isn't saying it will go BOTH up and down beyond the opening range, only by the 18th candle, whatever direction it is EITHER above or below the starting range, is the direction it's likely to continue.

Micro emini is also good option if you dont have 5000 in your account, 1/10th the size of a regular emini
I don’t think Linda Raschke was a turtle trader. She did develop a strategy called Turtle Soup as a reference to the Richard Dennis trend following strategy. Linda got started as a floor trader at the Pacific Stock Exchange in San Francisco.

Please recommend one best prop firm you would deal with now & WHY. In traders Prop Accounts is Hedging Allowed(firm names)? Also For Hedged positions Is any margin required after hedging is completed? For open hedged positions carried overnight how is daily loss limit calculated next day of trading?.

Does that 18 bar statistic work for all markets? Meaning any equity market or forex market or only tested on the emini's?
I find that for intraday forex trend trading most important relevant (Guide)trend direction is ON 15 minute, 1h and 4h charts only-- For intraday trading weekly & monthly trends do not matter much(too far removed from intraday field of activity) & can be ignored. For simplicity sake if 15 minute ,1h & 4h trends are in the same direction, you have a trade set up in the same direction (one could fine tune entry 0n 5 minute charts). In general if daily candle be in the same direction for any trade it is better but not A must.--Sir, what do you have to say?
