These are two really fine musicians, obviously. Too bad I'm missing out on some of the sounds of their guitars cuz of the annoying humming and mock horn sounds he keeps making with his mouth.
I think his 'mock horn' is really beautiful. To me, Raul Midon is more than just a guitar player. He hums along in unison to change the tone of his lines, and adds the lip buzzing to add harmonies that he feels flesh out his ideas. I think if you listen to it more, you'll find that he takes nothing away by adding either thing.
his 'mock' horn vocalization is an expression of his musical mastery you jackass. he's harmonizing his voice with his guitar work. it's what you'd call nasty af. keep up
Those two together are like one heart and soul, -I’m feeling so inspired right now 💛💛
I've listened to this so many times, I really hope they do an album together.
They compliment each other so well! Lionel is so creative in his accompaniment. They’re both just so great.
Thank you ❤️
that's just a rare quality of playing. I regret I haven't known them before, but no surprise they are so well hidden in the global market of music.
The interplay between these two masters is amazing... awsome

anyone know the brand of guitars they're playing?
Raul is playing a Traugott. Not certain about Lionel's guitar here.
