My oh my, Rachel is so adorable. She nails these roles. I loved the wedding scene. I was smiling and crying at the same time.
He seems to always play posh English boy. BUT HIS NATURAL ACCENT OH DEAR LORD :)
If Domnhall had a 24 hour TV coverage of himself I'd probably watch it. What a guy! 😄
Truly an amazing movie that I doubted after only seeing a few minutes of the beginning but soon after taking the time to truly pay attention to the movie I realized that this was without a doubt an amazing movie :)

I had no idea Ali Plumb was at Empire before Radio 1. Well played.
I read in his wikipedia bio that Richard Curtis had made a movie for Tv in 1991; ‘ Bernard and Genie’ and Bernard was the name of the good and loveable character. And the movie did not become famous, then he starts naming the not so good guys Bernard and his movies become massively successful. I mean almost every movie he wrote made 10 times its budget. I guess that is what happens when you are honoring your own feelings and not judging yourself for having them. You see Bernard in real life was a famous political and social figure and Curtis was just another script writer at BBC by then. It must have taken a lot of courage. Inspiring!
And I love how the movie is saying that care for yourself first, do things right and everything will be alright. See Bernard in the wedding scene, he is still who he chooses to be, he didn’t become someone else; a happy/merry person just because Tim went back and saved his play, it WASN’T necessary for him to do that. Doing that cost him almost a beautiful relationship with a loving girl.
Let people be who they want to be, focus on your own wishes and get the best girl you can and wake up happy every day. Cheers!
I feel like he's acting a bit nervous around her and from her body language, she seems intruiged by him ;) I don't blame him for being nervous, though.... starring next to a gorgeous woman like Rachel must be intimidating!

3:13 i found it! Tim mentioned Bernard when he was in the blind cafe for the first date with Mary (in the first timeline) he says "Mary is my mother's name actually" "Oh does it suits her?" "Sort of. But she's sturdy, Bernard might have been a better fit." No wonder it was so out of the place, its because Richard must have to put it somewhere in the movie 🤣

I take back what i've said in my other comments on the leading man in this film. He's kind of ok, simple , polite and charming decent man.... If ever a guy like him comes along ,...will love Rachel and stick around through thick & thin . I'll be so happy for my favorite actress Rachel to have......If ever Ryan is not getting back to Rachel.
I really wish for Rachel love & happiness in real life. I'm still crossing my finger for Ryan & Rachel though.

I was just thinking that when I saw Domhnall in the film "A futile and stupid gesture" with dark hair. I had initially thought it was Ezra Miller!
