Jesus is the Food from Heaven. Those who ate the manna died because they were self-centred. But the ones who live by Jesus, will live for ever inasmuch as they too break themselves up, as Jesus did, for the sake of others. If Jesus is food, then, it is also true to say that "food" is Jesus.
