thank you. after the close up it was very helpful to me a first timer. dont complain about about the bench set up. try doing it a top of an 8 foot ladder. it aint easy.
Which end does the stop go on? The instructions that came with my "ferrule and stop set" clearly show the stop going on the long end of the cabel, not the short end that's cut. That doesn't make any sense to me. Shouldn't the stop go on the end that could theoretically pull loose? If you want I can email you pictures. I don't know if I'm describing this clearly. If you already have a video on this, please reply with a link :)
My American ass definitely heard ‘Have-A-Sniff DIY Products’. A bit cheeky I thought for a hardware video- turns out the smell was from having my own head up my ass. Good informative video. 👍
Are you people blind? It seems pretty clear to me. Maybe instead of complaining you should get your damn eyes checked. This isn't brain surgery and these instructions are pretty clear. If you can't figure out which end of the crimper to use for safety sake maybe you shouldn't be doing this type of work.
Man I must've looked like an idiot at home depot asking everyone where the swaggers were. So if I can't get the tool to close all the way does that mean I'm just a pussy or am I using the wrong ferrel?
This is a remarkably poor video. There are critical aspects of swaging that are missing. Also how you swage is not described and how it should look finished. 1 out 10
I particularly liked the close ups. Thanx

Great video - Thank you!! For those who have commented already - take the time to watch the whole thing as the close up shots are at the end.
Great video. Watching this in home depot right now to help with my purchase.

I’m on an iPhone mini and could see perfectly fine.
Might be time to see the eye doc, gents.

@@XXX-XX-X-Xwhy waste 4 minutes?
I went by what you said and added my own thoughts on how to do it. I couldn’t see a thing - so I half assed it.
DJ Fish Thanks for watching
Is there a way to cut the crimped metal?
If you are referring to the ferrule, then cutting this would be best done with some sort of angle grinder.
are those turnbuckles? I can't see how they tension the cable?
ducatiist mate I even zoomed in when filming this, www.opsm.com.au/book-an-eye-test here’s some extra help
Have you already done it?

Oliver Chaffe, there are close up shots around the 6 min mark of the video
But what if I have to do this 200 times, what affordable options are there out there other than a hand tool?

600mm swage is much more user friendly than the 350mm. Especially if you are doing large amounts

Be great if there were close-ups of the tools and other items so you could actually see what the presenter is doing. Very frustrating viewing.
It is quite fiddidly
Can’t see anything you’re doing on a small scale.
Wait for it

This video would have been good if they ZOOMED IN!! Ridiculous
