Lovely patient. Good job explaining what’s happening with the glutes. It’s my favorite body part.

A lot of people are like that - lots of reasons why the Glutes are not working like they should - see someone like me where you live if it bothers you, regards JG

But is the hip hiking really happening because of the weaknes/faulty firing pattern or is it because they haven't been coached properly? Personally, i had many clients demonstrating the hip hike, but after proper coaching, they had absolutely no problems and they also demonstrated competence in the single leg stance.

This is only one test of many to ascertain a weak Gluteus Medius and yes I can agree with what you are saying as people might need correct advice for when they lift their leg as many people 'cheat' by hitching and after guidance they can lift normally. Regards JG

hey so I’ve been calling tons of physical therapists, they don’t seem to know about that and seem to all say the same things like their reading from a text book, is there a specific name for your profession?

I DO appreciate this man's video content, but I find it funny and curious that I NEVER see this doctor working on any male patients. All of his live models are women and he palpates and manipulates away... (ya know, guys hurt too).

The model he used often is his partner, so it is convenient for him. There are other videos of him treating male models at during class.
