    Nodemcu Power Supply:
    In this video tutorial, you will learn how to make a power supply for the Nodemcu esp8266 wifi module using LM7805 voltage regulator. The PCB is designed in the Cadsoft eagle 9.1.0 version. This tutorial completely explains how to make a schematic and then how to convert this schematic into a PCB board. With the help of this circuit, the Nodemcu esp8266 wifi module can be powered up using a 12v adaptor, battery or a Solar Panel.

    Would 12V to 5Vdissipate a lot of heat?
    What other types of battery can be connected to this circuit? Like 3.3V LiPo etc

      @ElectroniClinic  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      no heat.

    • @PyroRob69
      @PyroRob69 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, dropping 12V to 5V at any kind of current load WILL generate a fair amount of heat. That voltage drop has to be dissipated.

      Ya that's the main issue with the 7805 regulator. That's why I designed a new board with 5v and 3A power supply. Check playlist, there is a video on 5v and 3A power supply.

    Please reply

    • @ElectroniClinic
      @ElectroniClinic  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      for months and years, if it hangs then you can use a watchdog timer in the code, then the controller board will automatically restarts if it will ever freez or hang.
