I just love your style Barry. Such subtle differences that really make it stand out. As a new tier, drunk at that I think this is a perfect pattern for me to attempt right now. Can't wait to look at it tomorrow and laugh

Barry that was quite the display of an amazing combination of materials, textures, proportions and the artistry of creating a work of art. What a feast for the eye to watch you put it together.

Video on how you place your wax and what kind. Nice rendition. Have you made the fresh water shrimp fly. I tried it but the ostrich hurl I have the tines/barbs won’t let the legs proportion properly. Any input on where to buy larger tines/barb ostrich hurls or maybe a substitute material. Thanks for your time!
    Sincerely GW

Hi, Thanks. Yes, I make my own wax because I keep bees, and have planned to do that at some point. Do you mean a Mysis shrimp ? If so I have a video of my pattern for it. Buying natural materials I recommend you do first hand and no online, you never know what will arrive in the post!

@@Thefeatherbender thanks I was seeing the gammarus shrimp. Your style uses different material for the feet. It should work better so I’ll give that a go. Also to answer anybody’s questions about uv resin torch yes you need one if you plan to make a clear body as I found out last night. A regular torch will not do. Thanks again!
