Very cool walking tour. I loved this video. There was lots of cool stuff to see - the view of the Shibuya Scramble from above, the underground stores, all the different shops & restaurants around the area, and that cool rooftop garden. It's very nice to see there are some green spaces in Tokyo. It felt like a lot to take in since I had only see the Shibuya Scramble depicted in anime before. I would love to visit the area some time even though I think I might feel a bit overwhelmed. Great job, as usual Cory.

PARCO、懐かしいね！Used to go there when I when to school. Definitely correct that is the kind of place where a t-shirt easily costs 10,000 yen. Mostly we went just to look. Occasionally somebody would buy something they had saved up for. I am sure we all could have spent our money more wisely, lol.
The moving stair art probably looks magical at night. I saw umbrellas , rain and random shapes in the design at one point and that matches the shapes on the floor after you get to the top and the umbrellas WITH shapes on them up in the ceiling! That place just seemed fun and the string of shops was nice. I saw the onigiri and miss onigiri. I just don't make them quite right at home T_T I wonder why they chose to have it darker within the building? The elevated view from the google building ...wonder what it looks like at night? Great timing on the scramble filming and seeing the trains from that view was great! I was in Shibuya for my first trip to Japan on purpose and was with a friend as we just walked around, got lost, watched folks and enjoyed our time. My second time in Japan I stopped there to pay respect to the Hachiko statue and went on my way. We also saw a lot of the loud song trucks there haha!
Yeah! I am never in Shibuya area, especially at night. I'm sure it's a very nice place to film a night walk video! I'll have to find a day that I can do that. I really want to make more night walking videos around Tokyo. It's definitely amazing. Sounds like a good and memorable time for you in Shibuya! Ivé been in Japan and Tokyo twice, the last time me and my girlfriend stayed at a hotel very close to the "google-house", further down the canal. Visiting Japan was one of my biggest dreams that trip was one best I have made so far so this video brings back very nice memories:)

This wasn't a live stream walking video. It was prerecorded, then during the weekly premiere, me and viewers watch the video together and live chat about it. So that's why it's only 1 hour. You're welcome, Rudi! Thank you for watching! Many Japanese do wear shorts, but it might still be early in the summer season. A lot of Japanese tend to follow the calendar season for their wardrobe, even if the outside temperatures don't match. For example, it's common to see everyone suddenly wear trench coats and winter clothing as soon as it's November 1st, because to them, that's the beginning of the winter season. It doesn't matter if it's still 20° and sunny outside or not. It's honestly a weird cultural phenomena to witness. They'll even turn off the AC and turn on heaters on the trains and inside of businesses because according to the calendar, it's "winter". South Korea has this same thing and it just baffles me how people will wear thick winter jackets and scarves, even on a bright sunny day that calls for shorts and a t-shirt. I think we'll see more shorts from June 1st. hahaha
All of my non-live streams are filmed on a DJI Pocket 2. It didn't auto-focus at the beginning because I was in the shade, and the background was brighter so it focused on that for just a few seconds. Usually the auto-focus feature for the Pocket 2 is very responsive and accurate. Thanks for watching!
