Christmas as a commercial holiday always overpromises and under-delivers, leaving us unfulfilled. But Christmas remembered as the mercy of God sending His Son for us stirs in the believer a robust and renewed hope. So we place the anchor of our hope in this, that Jesus sees us in our lowly, fragile estate and moves toward us in His love.
We exist to love God, love people, and make disciples of Jesus Christ.

Idk who complained about him preaching for so long, but I could listen to his word for days
Same! It’s obvious that he truly loves the Lord in Jesus and I love listening to him preach. I can feel the Holy Spirit moving and working in my life
I really need this encouragement and truth.

Jesus knew what He was buying on the cross. Amen!
I'm just reconsidering how important/essential it is to "consider how we might spur, stir-up, motivate one another on towards love and good deeds."
So thankful for Matt's sensitive reminder of the importance of the personal quest we must embrace in our personal "one another" ministry.
Matt Chandler is being spiritually attacked. He needs our prayers. He is still just a man with flaws, which makes me like him more
