I have a question. A lot of credit is being given the the ASU RB and rightfully so, but that QB deserves so much credit. HE probably had 200 yards rushing between sidelins. Does OSU have that kind of QB, with that kind of elusiveness. Not discounting what OSU can do or not just curious of what type of QB they have.
Our Co-Defensive Coordinator, Johnny Nantzen, was on Chip Kelly’s staff then faced Chip Kelly as a DC at Arizona. Texas knows what’s coming and they know Will Howard well. Heck, we beat Will Howard last year with Malik Murphy as our QB since Quin was hurt and missed the game. Will Howard has never beat Texas yet.
I really hope Texas utilizes arch manning more . Give him 10-15 plays. Run some zone read with him and see if it helps out the run game. Also if Texas has any sort of a brain they’ll double cover Jeremiah smith 80 percent of the game. Michigan bracket covered him most of the game and it worked well but you have to get pressure with just 4-5 guys

You can't do anything but favor OSU after their recent performance and Texas recent performance. You wonder about OSU coaching that they lost any games this year. But c'mon they did lose to Michigan. They're beatable. Texas OL has been beat up and I think a lot will turn on how well they heal up before the game. Texas defense has been good at pressuring QB, and Texas has experience playing Will Howard. Texas special teams have been horrific and that can't happen if they are to win. This is not a one dimensional game and everything is related (complimentary football). There are match ups that matter both ways. Texas has a complete defense and I doubt OSU is going to boat race them like they have the teams so far in the playoffs. On the other hand, if Texas doesn't have some degree of ball control they lacked in AZ game, the defense will get tired and won't save them. Losing a player like Cameron WIlliams (who may be back) can make a big difference to the run game, so talking absolutes about Texas run game is misplaced. Bottom line to me is how healthy and effective is the Texas OL? That will be the key to whether Texas stays with OSU for an entire game. The Texas defense will probably not give up a lot of points early, but will fail late unless Texas offense has some level of ball control.

I guess there's no point watching this game. Texas sounds terrible.
You can't do anything but favor OSU after their recent performance and Texas recent performance. You wonder about OSU coaching that they lost any games this year. But c'mon they did lose to Michigan. They're beatable. Texas OL has been beat up and I think a lot will turn on how well they heal up before the game. Texas defense has been good at pressuring QB, and Texas has experience playing Will Howard. Texas special teams have been horrific and that can't happen if they are to win. This is not a one dimensional game and everything is related (complimentary football). There are match ups that matter both ways. Texas has a complete defense and I doubt OSU is going to boat race them like they have the teams so far in the playoffs. On the other hand, if Texas doesn't have some degree of ball control they lacked in AZ game, the defense will get tired and won't save them. Losing a player like Cameron WIlliams (who may be back) can make a big difference to the run game, so talking absolutes about Texas run game is misplaced.
Bottom line to me is how healthy and effective is the Texas OL? That will be the key to whether Texas stays with OSU for an entire game. The Texas defense will probably not give up a lot of points early, but will fail late unless Texas offense has some level of ball control.
