  • Hello friends! In today's video, I wanted to show my process of taking in the sides of a jumpsuit. This is a very versatile process to learn because it can apply to dresses, rompers, and some types of blouses! Please don't hesitate to leave any questions in the comments below!

    I like the way you do the extra Work to make your alterations look better! I do alterations full-time now. But I have a hard time charging my customers enough money. Do you have any advice?

    • @DowntownTailoring
      @DowntownTailoring  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      This is a really hard question. Yesterday, someone asked me to do a non essential job for free. It means that inside the eyes of some, our job doesn't require too much effort, and this is supported by the fast fashion's low prices. What I try, is to explain to the customers all the steps and I try to value myself as well, because nobody will do it for you. I hope this helps 💗

    • @DowntownTailoring

      @@DowntownTailoring Today I worked on my dress making the darts in the back . It was a bit challenging because of the lining on the top portion of dress, but it turned out fine. Thank you again for your videos. Ps. My alterations lady/friend passed away and I really miss her. 😢
