Nice overview of the event! It was so odd watching you actually have to pedal a bike! Haha! Those UBCOs felt great, but they come with a big price tag!
Great Vid… love that you showcased Matt from Spark CycleWorks… I saw me in the background looking like a security guard lol 😝 Hope to ride with ya soon my friend…
Bunch of sick bikes man! How much torque do put on your axle nuts on your x class? I've got a 5000w kit coming in for my X class and I'm not sure how much to tighten it down. Thanks
Not sure how much torque I'm putting nominally but my 3kw has been handling the dropout nicely (had the kit for almost a year). For 5kw, I would definitely got with the dual torque arm setup while regularly checking the bolts at least once a week or before a big ride.
It's awesome to see so many creators out there putting their own spin on ebikes. while you were there did you see anything that looked "big dude" rider friendly? most of these cafe style bikes are amazing, but me being over 6 foot I don't have many options 😅
Out of the ones I saw I would say Huck Cycles and UBCO fit best for tall riders. They had longer/higher frames for a more upright position. Ideal for taller riders.

Yea dude I wish I was able to try more EVs but overall I think UBCO had the most unique and interesting. Just need a display for that bike lol.
