If you ever come to San Diego, I suggest that you take a ride on my Coolfly Cheetah-Pro. It has 20000w, 84 volts, and 58ah. I can not ride as fast as you can to estimate how far it could go.

I got nothing man... I thought the KR5V mid mount with 72450 and a 72v24ah pack was overkill for my mx650... You took it to a whole 'nother level mah dude! DONT DIE! Bring it to a dragstrip and get some 1/8 mile possibly 1/4 mile times... Or get a DRAGY

Insane build bro,you are miles ahead of me im still working on upgrading from a my1020+. What is your recommendation, I was thinking a krv5 or the one motor.
@@milesneff8886 I haven't had much experience with kunray motors but I'm always hearing really good things about the Sotion FW11 motors. Pushes a ton of watts and doesn't really heat up as much. You can even go Sotion FW01 with the bolt on swingarm ( if higher top speed is your thing).

Use revnuts on the swing arm for the pegs. You can just grind the bolt flush to make sure its doesn't rub the battery.

@@JB360_NYC yeah, give it a try. Use an insert with a decent thread length and loctite. Should work well. Sweet build and that price is cheap for what you get
Nice work! My Honda Shadow 750 goes about 93 mph and 100 on a downhill so this bike is hella fast! I’m assuming you’re pulling a lot of amps at that speed and would probably limit the range severely?

Looks good. Do the foot pegs being that far forward, put your feet in the way of the front tire when turning? It looks pretty close. Be careful.

Nice built bro, question how you connect the brakes to the Fardriver for the ebrake and regen?
You can purchase the light kit in the description and get brake sensors for both left and right lever and connect it to the light kit. This will enable Regen and allow you to use brake lights.
Have you thought about doing this set with a MX650?
I was originally going to go with the MX650 but I liked the RSF a little better. If I ever get my hands on a MX I might do the FW01 motor swap.

I was going to do an MX650 build a while back with the FW01 mid drive Sotion but I ended up going with the RSF650 frame since I like the design and got the for a good price.

What is your suspension shock setup? Did you have to go longer than 270mm?
@@Darryl_Torculas for sure, I had to go 290mm in the rear. It worked out pretty well in terms of even-ness with the back wheel

that motor can eaily go over 30kw providing the controller and battery are powerfull enough ,and the theoretical max for your system is 32kw

QS motors will always be one of the top motor companies out there, although I have to admit, Sotion is really making a name for themselves in Surron and now Razor market. I see them more as competitors now.
How long can you hold 80 mph and are you still happy with the hub motor or do you wish you would have gone mid mount
@@brandonyoung3425 haven't fully tested it out but it can probably handle it for a good minute without overheating. The continuous current is pretty high but you gotta watch for temps. I'm loving the quietness of the hub though. I think the mid-drive would be excellent more for the MX and off road riding.

@@brandonyoung3425 yea I mainly use Fardrivers now and they don't get that hot. KOs are a nice option as well. Seen plenty of Surrons use them especially the big block.

So I don't think they have the custom swingarm for the Coleman yet but if you happen to know the dropout size of your rear wheel, you can see what motors are available for that frame.

@@5cheeta super torquey but also because my throttle settings are maxed out. You can definitely pop a wheelie off the rip if you don't shift your weight.
I had a qs205 on 14kw and it was too much to handle on an e-bike. Center of gravity is way too high and front end is too light to use that much power on.

The only place you could have put it? How about the turning signal cluster before the brakes. I mean the brake lever is about a half a foot long😆😆😆 I'm sure you can pull the lever after swapping them around.

For sure, if I'm constantly gunning it full power I could possibly only get about 30 miles overall. Being conservative will get me close to 50 miles on one charge.

@@andyfumo8931 conservative is like 30-40mph. Highway speeds probably not that long. 65mph cruising maybe about 15 miles.
