This is the Call of Duty Cold War Ending - the COD Cold War Ending Campaign Finale. This is the Final Mission in Black Ops Cold War's Campaign, with all possible Endings. Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is a first-person shooter video game developed by Treyarch and Raven Software and published by Activision. It is the fifth installment of the Black Ops series, and the seventeenth installment in the overall Call of Duty series. Serving as the sequel to Call of Duty: Black Ops (2010) and an “combination sequel” between campaign and zombies, the game is planned for release on November 13, 2020. Black Ops Cold War is set during the early 1980s of the Cold War. Its campaign follows CIA officer Russell Adler as he pursues an alleged Soviet spy, Perseus, whose stated goal is to subvert the United States and tilt the balance of power toward the Soviet Union. Multiplayer will have new game modes, more extensive customization, and new map dynamics and elements.

From the comments, I can tell most of us did the expected good ending first, but then went straight for revenge.

I just felt like being a prick
I hadn't even considered the "good" ending the moment I realised I was a brainwashed Russian rogue agent.
As soon as I learned the CIA brainwashed me into being a traitor I turned on them because you need to look at it as our friends actually were never our friends and were turning us on our real friends and family. Feck them! In that dream I never once did what adler said. Even at the start i picked up a different weapon (granted I never realised the game would pick up on my decisions)

The 'bad' ending was good for Bell. They have been bought back into their comrade's arms and finally go alongside with the one that will never betray them.
The 'good' ending was good for humanity. Bell pretty much saved humanity from nuclear fallout, but Adler knowing the risk of letting Bell go alongside with a slight chance of Bell recovering their memory and that will bring catastrophe. Bell doesn't deserve this.
Apart from bell getting his memory back. He has adler's memories from the mk ultra program. That's probably why adler's the one to shoot bell.
there are no winning sides, there is no right or wrong ending
the campaign ultimately leads to an ending that fills you with regret. regret working for the cia, a group of violent "paragons" that believe they're the good guys, despite what they do, or the soviet extremists, who truly believe that destroying the world will bring about meaningful change for the future.
the truth is, you should make your own choice, rather than take the paths laid out for you. if bell survives the good ending, id hope we'd finally get a call of duty game where you follow your own path, rather than fight for someone else's ideals.
It all boils down to dying for something or living for nothing.

I got the "bad ending" first because I knew that bell was russian so I wanted to give loyalty to my comrades and turns out technically this was the good ending
Lol..same. plus I hated the game for putting me in Vietnam scenario again and again so I selected the bad one. Turns out it was the right decision
I honestly enjoyed the story mode so much even though a lot of people really hate it. I genuinely enjoyed every mission, but my least favorite mission was the one in Vietnam where you had to go through it multiple tiems

1. Bad guy Nukes the entire world
2. Hear the phrase “Only you” and probably kill all you friends.
3. Do nothing and walk away without arresting him (probably considered a good ending)

He correctly predicted that a nuclear apocalypse would happen which makes you realize you were kind of the bad guy and that everyone was trying to warn you. What I like about the “Bad” ending is that “Bell” drops the XM4 and is given an AK-47. It’s a nice little detail that shows he/she changed sides

The Vietnam flashbacks in the interrogation was actually pretty dope. Especially running in the hallways for the red door. It was like Mysterio’s illusions.

Three years after the release of Cold War I have a PlayStation 4 I have download it for free because of plus and I have a history with cod and I had a feeling that something wasn’t right, in the campaign and without knowing anything, I chose the bad ending, which became the good ending after watching many videos on TH-cam

I got the based and Sovietpilled ending, dumped every bullet I had into Adler as soon as he started speaking, reloaded, dumped another clip, teabagged him, changed guns, dumped the clip, reloaded, dumped the clip, teabagged him, then hugged my real comrade. You don’t have to restart the whole campaign. Just replay the “Identity Crisis” mission and you can choose a different ending.
