thanks for watching! I took SCOOT home from Singapore at the end of this trip but the vlog wont be out for quite a while. If the plane is going to be half empty though on CP like it was in this video, I can't see why you wouldn't take them!
Ive flown Melbourne-Manila and return three times on Cebu Pacific and at 170cm its totally ok. I choose to upgrade for seat selection and checked luggage and order 2 meals. Even with all of that it's still cheaper than Scoot, Air Asia or Jetstar and unlike the other LCC it's a direct flight. The check in lines are long but the cabin crew are great. And no need to leave NAIA T3 for a connecting domestic Cebu Pacific flight.
Good luck hopefully it won't be a full flight which is what made my one pretty decent I suspect. Just bring your own entertainment it's.a long eight hours!
Cello tape isn't allowed on flights to/from OZ. It was one of the items they were looking for during the extra layer of security checks when i departed MNL. They confiscated my electrical power chord i use to charge my numerous filming equipment, and I've travelled the world with it.
I noted that CP had an issue with some cables and was a little concerned just with my chargers and PC cord but they were ok it seems. I travel with tape all the time this is the only time it's been an issue. Usually though it's just a small roll I take this time I grabbed a slightly bigger roll which they said was the issue because I could wrap people up with it. Which to be I honest I don't think I could because it wasn't THAT big. Anyways live and learn. How annoying to lose important cables though thanks for watching
That’s a new thing to know some of the airports have crazy rules like we have to drop our son’s toy because of batteries although they can throw it and return the toy but they didn’t! Thanks for your reviews it will be really helpful for people around
I've flown this back in January 2024 and I would say it wasn't that bad. Partly because I bought an emergency seat and meals, and partly due to the most amazing flight attendants (Filipinos and Southeast Asian flight attendants are the best!). I'd say that it serves a market, just like all other LCCs.
the flight attendants make such a difference!! I found the attendants on Cebu Pacific enthusiastic about their jobs - a real plus. Emergency aisle the way to go too!
High quality flight reviews are so rare, keep it up and you'll be famous. Just don't end up being one of those reviewers doing only first class in emirates on repeat
Haha I just want to make a little extra cash as a side hustle travelling which I love. I have a few BC reviews on points..but most are economy. Cebu I reviewed a whopping three times which probably was not wise lol. Thanks for watching appreciate the support
@AndysWorldJourneys definitely because people have wires such as headphones charges belts etc so if someone wanted t tie someone up they probably could haha 😄
Good flight review sir. If you want the full experience try a middle seat on a full flight in a non emergency row for an entire flight. Whatever the case, Cebu Pacific provides a vital service to the millions of Filipinos who work overseas, providing 10% of the countries GDP - and who could afford no other way to travel.
you are right there are a few airlines that provide essential services like Cebu Pacific but they really do do a great job. I will probably pass on the middle seat option though... Thanks for watching!!
Hi Andy, I have booked Row 17 on the Melbourne - Manila flight (same plane). If i choose the window seat in that row is the foot space impeded at all by the door?
I had the exit row and I didn't recall having any issues. Best bet to be 100pc sure is try a website called Seat Guru which is brilliant full of correct seat maps and info on the different seats. Thanks for watching!!
Thanks for the review, will be flying the same leg in a few months :) It looks like the seat you checked specifically doesn’t recline cause the exit aisle is right behind it, the normal seats probably do..?
sorry to say but no, they dont none of the seats recline sadly. but at least it means you dont get people squashing you from in front of you. Thanks for watching!
The ratio of bathrooms is concerning, yikes. Wow, your tape was taken! I guess the price makes up for the inconveniences,. Like the Manilla folder joke. Great vlog
Hey there thanks for watching! Ticket price was around $440AUD (it is mentioned in the video) which I think included baggage. I've recently seen advertising for flights Australia to Manila for $297AUD but just because they advertise it doesnt always mean you can get it!
Does Sydney have Global Entry? I love the automated passport checks. Do you have to take your shoes off? To be fair if I saw you with a roll of cellophane tape I'd be suspicious as well 😁. Ah service ain't what it used to be. Sounds like Spirit Air in the US.
Thanks. Looking at Cebu for some route. Can you suggest if the premium seats in the front minus the 1st row are worth it? It's the same cost as row 1 but the pitch on the webpage states same dimensions for standard and premium. So if u remember if row 2 or 3 premium seats has extra legroom compared to regular seats would love to know.
I didn't look at the premium seats and were unaware they had them but exit tie worked well for me. It's leg room that I thought was a bigger issue than pitch thanks for watching 😔
It appears that many of the comments are from individuals seeking first-class amenities and comfort at thrift shop prices. Cebu Pacific was established as a budget and bling-bling free airline, offering Filipinos a decent and affordable alternative to standard airfare prices. The cost often reflects the quality of service, which means if you are the Princess and the Pea character, it's not meant for you
Cebu Pacific provide a pretty decent service I think. In 2023-24 we can entertain ourselves on devices on a long flight, the price is excellent and if you do want a little more comfort you can pay a little more as I did for exit row. Also the attendants are enthusiastic and do a great job. thanks for comnmenting.
Thanks for watching! Generally I always print a copy of the ticket although probably it's okay just on your phone in many circumstances. In the case of international flights Im not sure so I would play it safe and print a copy.
Mate you should change the setting of your camera when filming. The lights looks like its flickering. Anyway, Cebu pac in is known for a not so great airline. That is crazy. 8hrs no entertainment on to watch. Damn..
BYO entertainment on Cebu Pacific! Unfortunately this is what the GoPro 9 does in poor light otherwise I'm super happy with it been through a few cameras in the past year will eventually upgrade but not for a while thanks for watching!
I use it to stick things in my diary like tickets and postcards I like to keep all that stuff. I usually have a small roll but when I went to grab some before leaving the supermarket only had the larger ones. Thanks for watching and supporting my channel!
Oho tape was taken. It's good to know that system. Nice flight. A detailed review.
Cheers thanks for watching 😄
Thanks for the review mate. Planning a trip soon so this is very helpful!
cheers thanks for watching!
I do like the fact that none of the seats reclines...as I'm more considerate with other people's space than they are about invading mine.
Yeah it definitely has a good side to it! Thanks for watching!!!
Great job filming this review! Crazy about the tape. lol
Cheers thanks for your support 🙏🙏🙏🙏
Thanks for the video trying to decide between scoot and cebu for Sydney to Manila lol this one has no stop over
thanks for watching! I took SCOOT home from Singapore at the end of this trip but the vlog wont be out for quite a while. If the plane is going to be half empty though on CP like it was in this video, I can't see why you wouldn't take them!
The longest flight I have been on so far was only 6ish hours which is nothing! Great and thorough review.
thanks! When you live in Australia it takes a long haul flight or two to get most places!

I agree I was actually really happy with the flight and great to be able to take a day flight rather than overnight and arrive groggy and tired
Thank you for your review, am taking the same flight from Sydney tomorrow, my first time to Manila too ❤
Good luck hopefully it won't be a full flight which is what made my one pretty decent I suspect. Just bring your own entertainment it's.a long eight hours!
Crazy they took your tape! You definitely need to plan a head to use the bathrooms. Looks like a decent flight though.
Yeah I thought it was too. Thankfully with few on the flight didn't need to plan toilet visits lol thanks for watching 😀

Batteries are a big one because the rules have been different from country to country but thankfully are a bit more uniform now thanks for watching!
Thanks for the video, very informative.
Thanks for watching!
Very nice review. Keep it up!
thanks for watching and your support!
I can probably survive such a flight by upgrading to an exit row seat and buying 2 meals. Back in the day, we didnt hve ife's nor on board wifi too
yeah i should have remembered to order a meal! Still noodles is better than nothing! Thanks for watching!

Andy haha laughing 🤣 the you got your tape taken off you haha 😄 seat looks comfy but not reclining 😳
Good value for the distance 👏
It's weird, right??( Thanks for your support 🙏😊
@AndysWorldJourneys definitely because people have wires such as headphones charges belts etc so if someone wanted t tie someone up they probably could haha 😄
Thank you helped me to decide what seat to book
Glad I could help! thanks for watching!!

Never found a manila folder!!! Thanks 🙏 for watching!
Hi nice video there was the ticket and budget price because lately there tickets are really not that cheap!

8 hours on a Qantas flight: okay I'll take it. 8 hours on a budget airline: you are so brave.
luckily it wasn't bad at all. Just a bit boring at times. if it was full it would have been a different story altogether. thanks for watching!

I have no idea on Sydney and automation but I would think so Melbourne does now thanks for watching!

They took your sellotape??? That's so weird lol. Looks decent enough for a budget airline.
Yeah I was perfectly happy which is all you can ask right??? Thanks for watching!
Hi just want to know if need the print or hard copy of ticket before going to check in area?
Thanks for watching! Generally I always print a copy of the ticket although probably it's okay just on your phone in many circumstances. In the case of international flights Im not sure so I would play it safe and print a copy.
Thank you
I knew you would be sitting at EXIT door seat with huge leg room
Well why not on a half empty plane??? Thanks for watching!
Mate you should change the setting of your camera when filming. The lights looks like its flickering. Anyway, Cebu pac in is known for a not so great airline. That is crazy. 8hrs no entertainment on to watch. Damn..

I only fly on them less than a hour that's enough for me I'd never fly any longer than that with them
understandable but I was pretty happy with my flights with them
Good deal!
Yes I agree 💯
Pretty weird thing to take on a flight though??
