Flown with this type once, going to Davao from Manila, and I say it's super worth it. I got lucky that time that the A330-900 I flew with was not full with passengers. I was blessed to be seated in 17C which is next to one of the emergency doors, and since that airplane was not full with passengers, I asked one of the flight attendants to be seated on a window seat, which was easily granted. I also felt the better handling of the aircraft when it comes to turbulence management, I mean we sure went through some clouds during the flight, but I hardly ever felt the turbulence associated with it.

I've flown with Cebu Pacific's A330neo between Dubai-Manila and back. The flight was very comfortable. I didn't felt that we were so many people on board. Also comparing to flighta i took with Turkish Airlines A350 And 777, United B787-10. I would take again a flight with Cebu for sure! Also i paid 39 EUR for the MNL-DXB flight 🤣

@barrs817 Of course, but with the price difference they have, I normally choose low cost airlines the most of the times. For example I've flown from ATH to JFK for 98 EUR with Norse which is a low cost, and returned back for 5 EUR using Star Alliance miles on United (normal price was 800 EUR). Norse's seats where better for sure. More comfortable. And it was cheaper

I flew onboard this aircraft once, had my expectations shattered as it didn’t feel cramped at all, the seat’s vibrant color and thinness gives a roomy feeling, along with the bright ambiance of the cabin, even though the seat has no recline I felt it’s padded enough
One thing I noticed with the A330neo is that the overhead bins are a bit higher or it’s just with the design? (It’s been years since I’ve flown their old A330)

Filipino here. I'm really thankful at Cebu Pacific (and AirAsia PH) for making flying attainable to an average Filipino. Though I don't really fly Ceb Pac anymore, I'm still thankful since they force other airlines to compete in pricing. IIRC, PAL started offering basic fare (without luggage allowance) on domestic flights to compete with Cebu Pacific.
My only experience with Cebu Pacific was flying from Manila to Singapore in their A330-300 with 436 seats. It was my first time flying that time and it was alright, nothing special. Cabin felt crowded and the seats were a bit tight but not much to complain about on a 3.5hr flight.

Flew on these to Hong Kong and back. Both flights were full with 459 passengers onboard. As a tall guy, I wouldn't take this aircraft on flights longer than 4 hours but honestly, it's alright and you do get slightly more legroom compared to an A320/321. My biggest gripe though had to do with the climate control. It was getting really hot near the windows.

Flew on Cebu Pacific once, MNL to SIN in 2019 in their sardine can A330-300. Had I known better, I would gladly have paid double to not fly on Cebu Pacific. Nothing about the experience was pleasant. Not the online booking, not the shockingly untrained ground personnel, not the lack of communication from the airline when they changed the flight schedule, not the super uncomfortable seats. Haven’t flown on them since.

I flown with 5J’s A330-941 between MNL-DVO on 7th of April, 2024. Although it’s a bit packed due to high demand of that route and even I don’t like my seating position because I’m at the seat 40E (middle seat). Despite of that seating position issues, at least I can plug my gadgets onto their seat charger, their seat seems comfortable despite the way it designed and nothing problem for me because I’m 4’9” petite guy, a chance to take a picture and video a beautiful sunset & “Sharklet” by take a sit on a vacant seat, and requested to the cabin crew if I visit the plane’s cockpit + take a picture.
It was my 2nd time to fly the A330 series (the 1st was on January, 2016 with their now-retired A330-300), and 1st time to fly a Neo version. Just like other people who experienced this highly-dense A330-941 in long haul trip, I’m might not likely to fly it cause I’m not comfortable. I’m ok this plane for short haul, highly-dense flight like the ones that I’ve flew.

I fly these on SYD-MNL, the cabin feels far roomier and brighter than PAL. The seats *are* thin and narrow (as expected from 9-abreast seating) but are pre-reclined at a nice angle and support the back on the right places. The USB-C charging is neat and with the better A/C and quieter cabin over older A330s, I think it's a winner for medium/semi-long haul. Not tried Qantas yet to compare.

Have flown on this between Manila and Bangkok-Suvarnabhumi recently. It’s not as bad in terms of the legroom as I had more than enough of it. (I’m 5’8”) My issue was more with the width of the seat in relation to your shoulders. It was uncomfortable in that sense.
Surprisingly wasn’t as uncomfortable as I thought for a 3 hour flight. However I couldn’t imagine myself taking this to Melbourne, Sydney or Dubai, which do use these A330neos for service. Wouldn’t fly Cebu Pac for anything longer than 5 hours of flight.

Recently flew on one less than 3 days ago Manila (MNL) to Osaka (KIX) and vice versa - 4 hours. I was seated at the far back portion of the plane where the configuration is 2-3-2. Nevertheless, I was seated on "E" or the middle of the plane seat. As an average sized asian, i find it somehow uncomfortable but was OK as I was seated in the middle of 2 people (friends) I know. I know it can get very uncomfortable if you don't know the people beside you. 0 personal space at all and you would be brushing arms 100% of the time lol.
