Gasgeben kann er ja , kann er ihn auch Instandsetzen ? Der springt normalerweise auch ohne Starpilot an und Verbrennt kein Oel auf einem Zylinder ! Der Motor muss gewartet werden !

It looks to me like he starts it with no throttle, but is too quick to feed too much throttle. I would start with a fast idle throttle and then only blip it. Once the engine starts to catch. Not sure if that’s right or not, but that’s what it looks like to me.
One cylinder and the piston rings looks to be worn by the smoke coming from the one cylinder or the rings are sticking and need to clean the ring grooves so that they can float
@@donavonlarney it is a gasoline engine, a bad fuel nozzle doesn't produce blue smoke on gasoline engines. The blue smoke is caused by oil, either from the valve seals or from the piston rings.
Number 12 cylinder rings look like they are kaput, yet the owner/engineer look proud to have this running. Not sure how this works with a piece of automotive history?
your NSF wheel, along with the OSR wheel are on the wrong way round, this will make it unstable at any speed above 100 MPH, so take it easy on the way home....
Needs some work on the starter drive can’t run it long with out the fans and tin on it I had that engine in the M48 I was part owner of some thing is amiss having to put all the ether in it to get it running .

Ein Pott ist ordentlich kaputt. Entweder Ventilschaftdichtung total im Eimer plus Ventilführung ausgeschlagen oder Ölabstreifring Kolben kaputt. Eher zweiteres.
@@janhofbauer7815ja blauer Rauch! In seltenen Fällen kann auch mal Öl über die Zylinderkopfdichtung in den Pott laufen. Als weitere Möglichkeit😉 Da ständig Öl nachkommt muss zum Abstreifer zusätzlich die Ventilführung ausgeschlagen sein oder es ist eben doch der Ölabstreifring vom Kolben defekt. So meine Logik. schwarzer Rauch wäre Düse und weißer Rauch Wasser (Zylinderkopfdichtung oder Riss im Kopf)
Scheinbar ja. Ist auch nicht unüblich, dass so große Motoren luftgekühlt sind. Da der Motor nirgends angeflanscht ist und somit keine Leistung abgerufen wird klappt das dann auch ohne Lüfter
Der läuft definitiv nicht sauber. Der erste Zylinder auf der linken Bank verbrennt definitiv zuviel Öl. Ich würde auf Kolbenring tippen. Dann sind die Vergaser nicht richtig eingestellt genau wie die Zündung. Normalerweise sind Continental Motoren bekannt für ihre Laufruhe.
@@AP-iv7px Mein reden. Wenn der Zündverteiler falsch eingestellt bzw eingebaut ist kommt so ein Mist dabei raus. Zudem kommt noch das durch solche Sachen der Motor im schlimmsten Fall zerstört werden kann
@@AP-iv7px das würde auch die Startschwierigkeiten erklären es hörte sich an als wenn im Moment der Zündung ein anderer Zylinder voll auf den Kopf bekommt 🤔ich glaube die hatten eher Freude am Lärm als an der Laufruhe 😉

Der rauchende Zylinder hatt bestimmt Schmierring a uf Kolben undicht oder Ventil - Schaftdichtung ist undicht....

The one that smokes probably has a worn valve seal which leaks oil into the intake or exhaust.

crappy fuel nozzle ... bad rings allow pressure into the crank and it would shut down.

Running rich will give black smoke, blue smoke is burning oil. I suspect the rings on that cylinder are kaput.

Zündreihenfolge falsch, der läuft eher wie ein Ami V8 als ein V12
