I thought I saw somewhere online (for the life of me I can't remember where!) a loom knitted shawl project made using e-wrap and simple increase and decrease stitches?? Have you ever made or heard of this pattern? xx
There's a lot of shawl variations out there, and a lot of them are pretty simple, was going to look to do a "shrug" style cardigan for a future video, and will look to include some shawls too. x
Great video. Thanks! Followed your directions precisely and the result was too snug for my big (manly) head. How do I make a bigger version? Use the same loop but with looser stitches (kept mine tight for warmth) or use my biggest loop with tight stitches? Thanks!
What about Bernat blanket yarn or Bernat baby it’s a 6 if you didn’t know that? Thanks for this video I want to make a hello kitty hat so this hat helps me.
I find the suggested loom was too small for my head. I used a 41 peg loom the next time and the hat fit much better. This was a fun hat to make and not difficult at all. Just be careful when stitching so you leave enough space between the ears.
Love this but I must be using a yard that’s to thin I’m having trouble after I get past 3 rows that pattern isn’t growing in the middle of the loom hhmmm!

Looser stitches is one option, or go for the next size up hoop, just be careful to keep track of your rib-stitches x

Katie Powell her yarn does seem pretty thick. Almost the size of her pinky
Try doubling the strand. I pull from middle and side of the skein
