Rewatching the Bumblebee movie has inspired me to rewrite the Michael Bay Transformers movies. I would have 9 Autobots and 9 Decepticons in mostly G1-inspired designs like Bumblebee (not all of them will have time to develop in the single film, I am aiming for an entire 10-year saga similar to Marvel's Infinity Saga). My Autobot cast would include: Optimus Prime (the stoic but kind leader who serves as the heart of the story) Bumblebee (the optimistic and upbeat scout who serves as the human-Autobot connection) Arcee (the sarcastic older sister of the group) Elita-1 (who serves as the mother of the team) Wheeljack (the nerdy engineer of Team Prime) Ratchet (the careful medic) Jazz (the cool, suave daredevil) Cliffjumper (the gentle giant of the team, I'll explain how he is alive after Bumblebee later) Ironhide (the toughest of the tough, built to last) My Decepticon cast would include: Megatron Starscream Soundwave Thundercracker Slipstream Skywarp Shockwave Airachnid Blitzwing (I'm gonna say the Decepticons found his destroyed parts and rebuilt him with triple-changer parts to become G1 Blitzwing) Here are the two human leads: Mikaela Banes (who will be the main human character, similar to Charlie in Bumblebee) Sam Witwicky (who I decided to be Mikaela's friend and fellow mechanic and give him the nickname Spike to reference G1) Anybody want to support this by sharing it with other Transformers fans? I'll probably add or rewrite some things after I see Rise of the Beasts, but for now, I will add a couple Unicron and Beast references as throwaway dialogue.
We need skyfire so he can turn traitor and join the Autobots in the 2nd one, or have a starscream spotlight movie, where skyfire is lost midway through, or late in the first act, and we see him buried in ice, and being discovered by the Decepticons as a post credit scene! have his descent from respected explorer and scientist to leader of the seekers, and megatrons delightfully treacherous 2nd in command! and a few movies later, perhaps have starscream pull an Armada and join the autobots, where Skyfire would initially be one of the only few to vouch for him to be allowed to join the Autobots, only to get killed off probably by either megatron/galvatron, shockwave, or possibly even skywarp in the next movie, and Soundwave takes over as the 2nd in command of the decepticons, recognized for his loyalty, meanwhile shockwave waits in the background, ready to absolutely annihilate megatron when the time comes, similair to the Marvel G1 comics.
Great video dude! I'm in the UK, and I had pretty much all of these comics when i was younger, I would always check the comic section and buy them each time they released. We'd always get some dumb plastic toy with each issue, like a little dart gun or something, and I loved those 😂 I do remember issues in this whole saga, and I still do have some of the comics! I think I kept buying the TF magazine until TF Prime, and then I stopped, and I think I stopped buying every issue with DOTM. Good memories!

I really didn’t like that they made Unicron Earth in TLK having Unicron be in Cybertron is different but works better there were a lot of good ideas in these comics
Surprisingly this can still fit. Here's how I make more sense of it. You'd play the movie 1 videogame with events being very similar just with the Autobots and Decepticons deploying drone armies, but the Cons havign a bigger army, if you follow the AUtobots ending then it leads into Revenge of THe Fallen the Game where the constant war and alliance woth HUmanity has led to the Cons exhaustign their drone army and havign to rely on Protoform soldiers, but the Decepticon ending to the first game's movie leads into this alternate timeline. Awesomely it's never said WHERE Unicron comes from, his life force is simply drawn to the now dead Cybertron, so I rationalize this as his life force leaving his body which became the Earth, and because Primus is very weak especially with the Allspark destroyed, Unicron kills Primus and takes over Cybertron as his new body, then sets it on course to Earth to devour his old body and integrate it's important components into CYbertron so he coudl fully transform back to robot form, but due to Optimus's actions Unicron is drained of fuel and the COns all get teleported to him and all teleported once more to the far edge of the galaxy, but this can be open ended a bit for fun ideas I had, such as the Fallen somehow saving Megatron and the CYbertron trapped COns and beginning another open war on Earth, and Optimus getting so desperate that they find the Matrix and revive Sentinel Prime, but after hearing how Cybertron was taken over by Unicron and is too far gone to be saved, Sentinel instead fully allies with Optimus and the AUtobots against the Fallen and Megatron, and Lockdown arrives acting as a neutral 3rd force with his mercenary army helping Quintessa. And maybe KSI builds it's own Transformers from melting down the armies of drones and dead Cybertronians left lyign around from this much bigger war. Imagine this huge epic war with prety much every Transformer from the movies involved this time, even the Driller, DInobots, and Knights and Devastator fighting on the battlefield. Overall I really love this alternate timeline and it was such a fun what if idea.
Funny thing about these being "lost media..." that's not entirely true. They were collected in tiny trade paperbacks, in a three-pack. Unfortunately, the collection ends with the conclusion of the Unicron arc, so no Hard Target - onward. It just comes to a sudden stop with Cybertron sitting there next to Earth. But if you do want physical copies, they are out there -- look for the three-volume collection "Transformers Adventures." The covers are stock images from the movies featuring Optimus, Megatron and Bumblebee. They're also cheap, the most expensive complete one I saw was £10.
I would’ve already considered this continuity better than the sequels just for stronger writing, despite the inconsistent and conflicting art styles. But really, I say it’s better than the movies purely because Ironhide doesn’t die.
I wonder if the cast and crew read the comic inculding Michael Bay himself. Also it would be interesting if someone tried to explain the Unicron thing here.
Wow this was a great coverage of this whole alternate Bayverse films but with alot more structured writing and storyline that these literally could be done as like a short miniseries of animated movies

Shattered Glass started as the theme of Botcon 2008 and comics about it were made by Fun Publicationa for the TFCC. IDW didn’t do Shattered Glass comics until the last few years. I have no idea how you messed that information up.

The reason dropkick doesn't look like the version from bumblebee is because he was based on the toy from the 07 movie toyline. And the bumblebee movie is a reboot so it wouldn't make sense anyway.
Crazy enough, the plot on this what if actually made a better version on the Bayverse, had they only done these in the actual movies.. goddammit the potential so long was lost
The last knight's ending scene where Unicron is the Earth's core isn't the first time this has happened, in the show Transformers Prime Unicorn's mind is the Earth's core too. A Show that took place I think before the The Last knight so I think the writers of that movie's storyline got that idea from Transformers Prime Writers.
So i was bored and felt like watching some dum action movie that beeing transfromers last knight so my question is this how do all the movie fit together because it feels like actions and reactions of characters make no sense like the bumblebee movie, like sure secrets and hidden facts bla bla But like evan for me a person that enjoy pulling apart movie and digging in to fun but unessesery extra lore. Anyway i just find it a bit wonky when it comes to the transformer movies like stuff is thrown in cos its cool but is like square peg round hole things don't quite fit when you dig in to it?? I heard Jazz never got an ending as the series got cut by one issue.
