This card has such feel good vibes. Thank you for sharing. Gouache is one of those things that I've always wanted to try but haven't yet. So I appreciate all the tips you included in the video.
You did sit and hand paint it! I don't think it's faux anything just because you followed the lines of stencils. 😂 I'll let you in on a secret: when I have to paint a circle or some other geometric shape I almost always find something to trace, like a roll of masking tape. If you want to paint stamped images I'll tell you this one thing: Gouache always looks really bad until it suddenly doesn't anymore. Don't give up too soon. The frustration is just part of painting with Gouache but if you keep going it will get better eventually.
