Feeling disheartened so I am leaving this comment here so that after some hours, days, weeks, months or years when someone likes or comment on it, I will be reminded that I didn’t give up ❤
You are almost at 1k! I think so much changes after getting over the 500-600 hump, keep going! It just takes one video to skyrocket your channel. That one video might be your next or the third one from now...you are probably right on the cusp! Wishing you the best! xoxo
Your video where you were walking and talking is what got me to press record. I wasn't very comfortable talking on/to camera but when I saw you walking and talking, I knew I could do that. Thank you for inspiring me! I've posted 2 videos since watching that video. Congratulations on your success!
I noticed and it was recommended on my feed that making video about "How youtube change my life with under 500 Subcribers" helps youtubers tremendously. I watched at least 10 youtubers grow their channel and been monetized after posting this title in few days.
@@AlexaSaarenoja Thank you for your videos. They are very encouraging. 🩷 And, congratulations for being monetized. How's the weather in Finland right now?
I’ve been considering increasing my video uploads and now you’ve convinced me to try. I’m a 1000 watch hours away from being monetized so I’m hoping this will help!
Right now, my strategy is to learn as much as I can about TH-cam. I find myself watching videos that are helpful, and then re-watching them and taking notes is a great strategy for then applying whatever I’ve learned. For example, I really like the idea of consistent posting schedule, like how you post on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays. I am going to try to develop a similar strategy. I also thought that I had my niche down pretty well, but your video is making me rethink that. I have a feeling that I have to niche down even further. For example, I thought that my niche was women who are either just starting to experience, perimenopause, smack in the middle of menopause, or post menopause. But what I’m really good at is prepping ingredients, having a stocked refrigerator, and giving people the tools they need to put together meals in five minutes. Thank you for your inspiration!
I need that channel on food- heck I need both your channel ideas! 😅😂 But yea that’s a great strategy to take notes and implement those ideas that really resonate with you! Wishing you the best with the niche. ❤️❤️
Glad to see your channel had a growth spurt, I’m happy for you. The first time I saw you, you had less than a thousand subscribers and it wasn’t a good look for a channel about growth. Now that you’ve had significant growth, you have much more credibility. And thanks for sharing your strategy, it’s a good plan.
Thank you. Ive been procrastinating and just a week ago i posted my very first video. Its not all that but im recording the second one soon and make sure i up load it. Just saying consistent as i find my ground. Videos like these help to encourage me alot. Thank you
Congratulations! These tips are really good. Even though the larger channels say similar things, you put your own spin on it to keep the content fresh. You also speak in a way that gives you a lot of credibility. Thanks!
Just because a video is in high demand doesn't mean that a TH-camr with a small following generated those views without help. What if they took out Google Ads? Or what if they work at a website where the video was promoted? Granted, sometimes it does happen because it happened to me when I hardly had any followers, but I've seen countless examples of it happening differently, especially working in the music industry. Some bands love to promote fan-generated videos on their own websites and social media accounts.

You're welcome. Really? Thanks. It's one of my designs leftover from my previous design career. Ironically it's called "secret" - lumoava.fi/en/product/secret-pendant/
Thank you so much for this. I've been working on my channel since April with slow growth. I'm going to try 3 different but niche related videos a week to see if it helps! I truly make videos bc I like to, and my clients are always looking to hear things we have done in session, when they are in their real lives. 🤞
I'm reviving an old channel. I've been narrowing my niche and part of my strategy has been to delete videos that don't belong in the new niche. Getting youtube to learn your new niche takes some work. Good luck with your channel.
Thank you for having the "niche" discussion. I am still figuring out how to determine whether my niche is niche enough. I want to help women who are in some version of menopause - permimenopause (leading up to menopause, smack dab in menopause or post menopause uplevel their health. And my way of doing that is showing them how a whole food plant based lifestyle can be their ticket. But what I'm REALLLLLY good at is ingredient prepping so that anyone can put together a healthy vegan whole food plant based bowl in five minutes. See why I'm still struggling, lol? If you've read the whole comment, thank you 🙏!!! And continued best of luck to you!
Well hello! I need your channel! I am in peri I think...or assume, because I have recently gained a little pooch out of nowhere and my energy levels have sunk to below the earth's surface! haha ughh. But yes, there is a definite need for this and I also think this topic is trending now and forever, because it's gaining recognition, that it's a bigger change than most think and it impacts one in so many ways. Anyway, I think if you love food stuff and recipes, vegan etc. You could do a food channel devoted to getting through menapause with energy, health and vitality, etc. Oh and the mood swings those are crazy too! I think you will thrive with a channel like that. Here's a description idea: Welcome to Vegan Vitality: Menopause & Beyond! I post like 5-10 videos a week but it’s mainly because I post lifestyle content so I just live my life and share all the gifts I’ve been blessed to have with the world. I think it’s easy to post content consistently and at a higher volume when you are posting content that’s authentically a representation of you. When I started to be more authentic to myself and pay attention to my audience it became clear on how to get the best results from my audience. Lastly understanding that everybody is not going to like your content and that’s okay just focus on who does and provide them quality/valuable content.
@@EuVaniaSoares I’m don’t have talent but my husband is good at fixing stuff so he has a small business which blessed us to be comfortable but I myself want to learn so I can make my own mine money
I am really impressed by your scientific and data driven approach to your TH-cam channel and from when i first stumbled across your channel when you had 500 subs, i had no doubt that you are doing to do extremely well. I manage Amazon selling accounts of other brands and this is exactly the type of strategy we apply there too. I have recently started my own TH-cam channel and notice that i have some similarities and some differences to yours. The main difference being that my channel is a podcast channel where i interview guests. So each video is around 1 hour long. This means that i do not have the luxury of researching topics but trying to find impressive guests for my channel - hint, hint … can i get you to join me for an episode? Also, because of this, i stick to the 1 video per week strategy. But i want to start posting more shorts and more community posts to support the channel. This is my plan from this week.
Great video. I especially like the tips as to the type of videos you do for your 3 videos. I’m thinking of having 2 channels. I have one for my health and fitness, but also considering documenting my online journey. It’s been a long journey, lol. Just have not documented it
Wow this was a great video. I have watched a number of videos on this subject, but it just finally clicked. Now I have to put it into practice. Thanks...worth a sub for sure.
Glad it was helpful! 🙌 I’ve been getting a lot of comments about how to do the trending videos , so hopefully later today or tomorrow(Friday or Saturday) I will post a video walking you step by step through how to find and create trending videos. ❤️❤️
congrats on your success :) as a art youtuber fresh in the waters of this platform just a week ago have to say art is a difficult niche to raise those numbers. But i surely enjoy what im doing :)
Thanks for this awesome vid! I'm at the beginning of my journey. It's tough sometimes with the Dungeons and Dragons market being so saturated with content, but I love it too much to give up. I wish you continued success in your endeavors.
I had a video that went viral and i got monetized, but now am struggling with my views,,, hoping to get again the momentum!! I learn a lot from your strategy,,,
It just works with my schedule and family. I go hard core at the beginning of the week then focus more on family and building courses at the end of the week. I don’t know if it makes a difference if you spread out versus clump together. Probably easier for your subs if they are does out I suppose. 😊
❤Thank you for this information. I am thrilled with my affiliate income and my own product sales. I can only imagine how much better things will be when I do get monetization. I just purchased a $200 lawnmower I earned from Commissions with only 140 subscribers and less than 1k views on my videos. If this keeps improving I might have to buy a BANK.
Hey! Great video. What did you use to record the video? Was it the web cam on your computer with the computers built in mic for sound? and what did you use to screen record when we saw you on screen with you browsing youtube too? Please and thank you.
I record with my mac book camera, not sure I would recommend that, but it works well for me at this stage of my youtube journey. Secondly I use screenpal for recording my screen. It's free!
Thank you for the information. I’m trying to grow my channel as well. I do cooking and shopping- so hopefully one day I will make a little money from it! Best of luck to everyone!
Thank you for such an honest and insightful video regarding this topic. You’re the first to ever mention a few of the TH-cam trend searching tips unless I haven’t watched enough videos on this. I’m so glad you’re here to share with us!
I believe there is room for everyone so why hide anything if it helps people? Happy to share anything and everything I’m learning. Wishing you the best! ❤️❤️
This is very helpful information! Thanks for sharing. I started a "news" channel but I'm concerned news may not be ever green material. It's a bit more work because one has to keep up to date with what's trending. I also have to post daily. No set routine yet since I'm just trying to get some vidoes up for now My channel is very new so I will test it over the next few weeks to see how it goes. Learning daily, including how to improve my thumbnails. 😊
Thank you so much for the advice! I definitely took notes. I’m a new you tuber and I have a small channel that is growing. I only have 330 subs but posted a video a few weeks ago that has almost 2k views on an amazing hair growth formula . And a few days ago, I posted another how to video on achieving my dream skin that has a little over 400 views in 2 days. I feel like I’m finally finding my way on how to videos that help other women glow up. I’ve incorporated shorts into my weekly video uploads ( and idea I got from a TH-camr in west Africa ) and posted a video last weekend that has over 12k in views so far. This strategy has helped me double my subs in less than two weeks which is driving more traffic to the long form videos that I have posted. With your strategies, I feel like I can now really dial in on topics that are less random. I feel like I’m finally finding my way. Thank you soo much. ❤
So, I’m on a marathon of watching your TH-cams. I think I need to watch a LOT of them before starting. Im unsure of what I’m doing. Also, I’m having a hard time zeroing down my niche, so I’ll get that eventually I’m sure. Anyway, thank you!
Really good tips! I have a DIY channel so I don’t do talking head videos instead every video I’m making something or renovating so sometimes a video can take weeks. I have been breaking them up into parts in an attempt to post weekly
I think the niche you're doing your videos in is also influencing the speed of growth. My channel too is about DIY, where I'm using certain specific tools such as laser engravers/cutters, 3D printers or a CNC router. In my opinion, this could be the limiting factor of the growth of the channel, as it might appeal to a less wider audience, or will not be pushed by the YT algorithm. I'm doing my videos as I really like doing it, and got nice feedback on my videos, which is great and for me most important. But even when posting long form videos weekly, my channel unfortunately only grows quite slowly (but steady). I will keep posting though, hoping to get a break one day 😉 but it's really quite a challenge to keep up this weekly pace if you have a full time job and doing the TH-cam thing besides it. Anyway keep it up and hopefully you're channel will succeed!!
DIY is huge and many people are having great success in that niche! Great niche! That’s a great idea - series are really great for retaining viewers on your channel and for watching time hours. ❤️
Yes my niche is really popular right now, however this growth is achievable in other niche as well as I have seen it happening for maybe people in the TH-cam courses I’m involved in. You’ve got this! ❤️
Thanks for sharing these insights! Just started my channel a little over a week ago, been launching sneak peeks in preparation for my premier on Monday, that got me kind of close to 100 subscribers (80 as of writing) and over 10 hours of watch time, but still got a big uphill battle to climb. Love your positive energy! It's very easy for me to be very critical of myself so insights like yours are always helpful.
My strategy is more of an "inspo" and I guess personal art channel - even though I'm definitely not famous. For my own use, I don't watch youtube for "searching" I just want to be entertained. So I rarely if every use the search bar, rather I just scroll through my homepage. And that's how I hope for the majority of my videos to be found. I've heard you got to lean into your "unfair advantage" - what makes you unique - and this isn't always to teach or serve. Sometimes it's to entertain, or to inspire, or to motivate. I will admit my more personal vids definitely perform less than more more general videos - but I think it's important to build "affection" with your audience early on so that they DO care about you. If you're all tutorial you'll never develop that relationship (I think)
Yes I agree! That’s why I do a mix of vlog style, tutorials and trending. But you raise a good point. I’ve never used TH-cam to just watch random videos but you are totally right and that is something I have learned since posting that video. So thank you for sharing! I also do believe entertaining people is providing value. You are helping people to relax after a long day and laugh.. so most definitely you don’t need to teach anything! Just provide value 🤩 Thanks for your comment. Is great to see your perspective. ❤️

I’m two weeks in, up 39 subscribers, and have 7200 views. I was able to monetize early due to having an Amazon associate account. Not that it has been much, it was a bit of morale boost. I’ve also applied to two other programs.

Thanks so much for this informational breakdown! Also, I love your necklace pendant! Tell me about it!
Sounds great! Let me know how it works out for you. I’m truly interested. ❤️❤️
I'm reviving an old channel. I've been narrowing my niche and part of my strategy has been to delete videos that don't belong in the new niche. Getting youtube to learn your new niche takes some work. Good luck with your channel.
Yea I did the same. Removed old videos that didn’t relate. Thank you and the same to you!! ❤️
This channel is dedicated to supporting peri and menopausal women through delicious and nutritious vegan recipes. Join us as we explore how plant-based foods can help manage symptoms, boost energy, and improve overall well-being during this transformative stage of life. From hormone-balancing meals to comforting treats, we provide easy-to-follow recipes and expert tips tailored for your unique needs. Subscribe to embark on a journey towards a healthier, happier you with compassionate cooking and community support! xoxo

You have talent!! We are not all blessed
and do you make good money with it?
@@EuVaniaSoares I’m don’t have talent but my husband is good at fixing stuff so he has a small business which blessed us to be comfortable but I myself want to learn so I can make my own mine money
@@EuVaniaSoares do you have a talent?
Thank you! 😊 Sure send me an email 📧 let’s see if it’s a good fit! ❤️ Thank you for asking!
Great tips!! Thank you 😊
You are so welcome! Glad it was helpful. 🎉 Thank you for watching!
Great info and I love Sean! You’re a great student I see you applying all I have heard from him and adding your own knowledge
He’s the best!!! I truly believe his ideas work. Wishing you the best with your channel. Thank you for watching! ❤️❤️
Great video. I especially like the tips as to the type of videos you do for your 3 videos. I’m thinking of having 2 channels. I have one for my health and fitness, but also considering documenting my online journey. It’s been a long journey, lol. Just have not documented it
Thank you! I appreciate you watching! ❤️❤️
Great content Alexa
Thank you! 😊
Thank you for sharing. I won't give up for my channel ❤
You got this! xoxo
congrats on your success :) as a art youtuber fresh in the waters of this platform just a week ago have to say art is a difficult niche to raise those numbers. But i surely enjoy what im doing :)
You can do it!
Thanks Alexa you give me hope. All my video are education I will take your advice about trending videos.
I’m education as well. You’ve got this! 💜
Content creation can be a hard and long journey. I’m trying really hard and won’t give up!
And a fun one too! ❤️❤️ You’ve got this!
Thanks for this awesome vid! I'm at the beginning of my journey. It's tough sometimes with the Dungeons and Dragons market being so saturated with content, but I love it too much to give up. I wish you continued success in your endeavors.
You got this! My niche is super saturated too! You’ll find your tribe! ❤️
You actually explained some of this better than Sean Cannell! Fab content
Woah 😳 You caught my attention with this comment. That’s a huge compliment, thank you! ❤️❤️❤️
I recently started my channel too. Thank you for all the great videos
Best of luck! 💜

I had a video that went viral and i got monetized, but now am struggling with my views,,, hoping to get again the momentum!! I learn a lot from your strategy,,,
Hoping it picks up for you as well! Try riding a trending video to pick up some views again. 🎉
Thanks for sharing
Thanks for watching! ❤️❤️
Hi - interesting video. I have a growing careers channel and just subscribed to follow your progress. Let’s go!!! 🚀
Great video thanks! Can I ask you why do you post Monday Tuesday and Wednesday? When I used to post 3 videos a week, they were more spread out..
Fantastic! That’s awesome!!!!! ❤️
You are the one that motivated me and I started 1 week ago 🎉 Congratulations on your success and see you up there on the top ❤💜
You got this! Yep let’s do this! I feel honored - thank you for saying. Wishing you the best with it!!! Xoxo
It's free!
@@AlexaSaarenoja Awesome! It just goes to show at the end of the day good content is good content regardless of equipment used.
Thank you for the information. I’m trying to grow my channel as well. I do cooking and shopping- so hopefully one day I will make a little money from it! Best of luck to everyone!
You can do it! ❤️❤️
Great information. Thanks. I found you searching for TH-camrs over 60 😊
45, 60 I guess it’s all the same to TH-cam 😂😅 Is probably because I have a popular video that has 60 in the title. ❤️
@@AlexaSaarenoja Yes that’s the one!
I guess I need to start putting 40. Lol - and hey I am 40 + 22 years experience 😊
No set routine yet since I'm just trying to get some vidoes up for now
My channel is very new so I will test it over the next few weeks to see how it goes. Learning daily, including how to improve my thumbnails. 😊
Yes current events sounds like a very different beast to tame. Wishing you the best with it! 😊
@@AlexaSaarenoja thanks!
Fantastic! Amazing growth and high views! Nice work! 🎉🎉🎉🤩
I have a little above 200
We all gonna get there 🎉
So, I’m on a marathon of watching your TH-cams. I think I need to watch a LOT of them before starting. Im unsure of what I’m doing. Also, I’m having a hard time zeroing down my niche, so I’ll get that eventually I’m sure. Anyway, thank you!
Yes I’m doing a 4 part series on niche starting next week! ❤️❤️
Thank you so much for sharing and congratulations🎉🎉
I am hopeful that one day my channel will Hit 1k too
I hope so too!!! ❤️❤️
Congratulations 🎊🍾🎉
Thank you so much 😀 ❤️
Really good tips!
This helps a lot! I have to rethink my current steategy, which is posting a random video about every other week
So true 👍
I’m in the same boat😂. I will post well for a week or two and then it will be months! Time to change that! Good luck to you!!!
@christinac.3646 good luck on the journey of tube.
Yes give a shot and see what happens! ❤️❤️
I'm in VRA too but it's taken me forever to grow! HA. I'm happy for you!
Woohoo VRA fam!! ❤️❤️
Nice work! Already nearing 100 - how cool! 😎 wishing you the best with it! 🎉🎉
@@AlexaSaarenoja Thank you!

This Video was Awesome, it was packed with a lot of great advise, and very little fluff. I found it useful. Thanks!
Great to hear! 💜🙌 Every video I try to streamline it even more for just wisdom not waste. 😅
Agreed
Yes I agree! That’s why I do a mix of vlog style, tutorials and trending. But you raise a good point. I’ve never used TH-cam to just watch random videos but you are totally right and that is something I have learned since posting that video. So thank you for sharing! I also do believe entertaining people is providing value. You are helping people to relax after a long day and laugh.. so most definitely you don’t need to teach anything! Just provide value 🤩 Thanks for your comment. Is great to see your perspective. ❤️

Thank you for the detailed explanation ❣️ you opened my eyes regarding TH-cam. Being a search engine I have forgotten because of the possibility of a community page and membership perspective looks like TH-cam wants to become a community platform ...
Yes it’s a blend of both for sure! ❤️

Glad it was helpful! Thank you for saying. ❤️❤️
@@AlexaSaarenoja most certainly, good luck growing your channel
I’m two weeks in, up 39 subscribers, and have 7200 views. I was able to monetize early due to having an Amazon associate account. Not that it has been much, it was a bit of morale boost. I’ve also applied to two other programs.
Nice! Congrats!! 🎉
