Thanks for your content! Its been inspiring to watch your growth. I am 61 and was laid off in April. I decided to relauch my channel and its been a ride so far. Im doing two challenges on my channel, one is my health journey as a Carnivore and my Journey to Monetization series. I can relate to personal growth and learning new skills, getting out f your comfort zone. I can also relate to pouring yourself in to making videos and not getting views. I just posted my first "Trending" post about how TH-cam is changing my life and it has barely gotten any views. I'm struggling to understand why I'm not getting any interaction. I ask questions in my videos and invite viewers to share their journey as well but Im not getting much response. I'm not going to stop by any means but I wish I could really find my tribe!

I’m just jealous your old Mac is still Running my M1 PowerBook pro 💻 logic board crashed after 3 years. This was after the 1st one had a logic board problem in 2021 but was under warranty so they just gave me a new laptop. I had an old Mac from 2002 to 2011 before the hard drive crashed twice. I had worked on macs at my corporate graphic design jobs over the years. I worked on PCs too but my Macs always handled the graphic design stuff better. Rt now I’m using Luma vision on my iPad from 2019 until I can purchase a new Mac laptop again. It sucks not having a desktop view. I have to go to the library to see the desktop view on certain websites. iPad & iPhone only use apps not programs. Thankful I have 1T of storage in iCloud. So my old videos & old desktop are still there.

This is a very encouraging video. I’m just starting TH-cam and have been intimidated by figuring out how to make my videos look perfect. I mean this is the most complimentary way possible: I appreciate you sitting and talking at the camera. Like I can do that. You make TH-cam look doable. 🙏

A tip on the coldsore topic take L-lysine supplements it will help prevent them. My lips are super sensitive to salt, citrus, sun & stress. I use spf 30 on my lips. My coldsores pop up on some stressful moment. L-lysine helps heal it fast or helps prevent them if consistent. My body lacks the enzymes I have had the cold sore issues my entire life. My aunt & grandmother had the same issues too. Thank you for all your transparency & vulnerability in your videos. I just wish I could talk with energy. I sound slow & old anymore. 🤦‍♀️🤪

I think the "niche" or "twist" is my struggle too. I am an art youtube channel - I want to focus on my art. So I *thought* that'd be niche enough. BUT I've done art supply videos, favorite art books, my painting process, sketchbook tours, etc... And like, I think it's not niched ENOUGH for the algorithm. But I don't want to spend my whole time just like doing sketchbook stuff or art supply stuff. My last 5 videos have been doing so much worse than the previous 5 and it's a mysteryyyyyyyyyyyy. I need to save $$$ for a call.

Whenever I ask Chat GPT to give me tags titles. Anything I always say give me at least 10, 20, 30 sometimes depending on what it is that way I have some options because I'm very picky and I don't generally like a lot of their titles. So if they give me 20 there's a chance I'll be like oh these three right here are pretty good and then I just got to narrow down which one I want.

Yea there's no time to plan b roll when you're doing a daily vlog challenge 😭 lol...I got 7 more days lol... I take anywhere from 10-30 min to make my thumbnails right before I post depending on the video. But I'm doing vlogs not talking head vids it's so much work but I wanted to challenge myself! But I love this for talking head vids like this which I'm going to get back to as well!

Thanks for your honesty and for sharing. I am growing my channel in the craft industry. Niche is Faith junk journaling. I watch all the how to videos, finding ideas from my competitors successful videos, but there are not a lot for me to copy for viral ideas. Wish someone would focus on the craft industry and give suggestions. Blessings
