      democRATS need to get o those boats and head to cuba and their communist dystopia before they all get exposed and arrested for generations of corruption, My great grand father called politicians crooks with licenses, they want more power always not for themselves but for them to sell to the highest bidders no matter how small the regulation and bruerocracy its power they cann sell and get bribes for. Government produces nothing and so anything they offer to another for free they have to steal it from the person who produces it. They dont understand that you do not create wealth by dividing it.

      I read somewhere he doesn't consult advisers very often instead researching and educating himself on the matter whether it be engineering, physics as well as economics. Steve jobs was also this way rarely ever taking advice or suggestions from other people. His think tank only consists of himself, he must be constantly learning.

      @@Morgan-yl3ou sometimes they hide it in such a way that you can see your own comment but no one else does.
      I have lost of the number of channels whose only purpose is to idolise Musk.
      Girls have Taylor Swift and teenage boys have musk with all the toys he makes.
      Most of these channels used to be geniuine or he financed them. Now his AI generates the text and the narrations.
      They are of course translated as well.
      I have lot count of their numbers.
      He even has Gork answering the comnents.
      One I aksed if you are an AI answering my comments and straight away it said yes.
      I expect he has now trained it not to admit it anymore.
      But the responses were so pathetic as arguments that it was obvious.
      These teenage boys in my days used to have rock star posters on their walls. No this generation are brainwd washed to worship him.
      No one realises that he is not an engineer. He didn't built Tesla or the idea of landing a rocket. He found enthusiastic engineer who didn't have money. The gave them money and then got himself on the board and sacked the founders who held on to their options. So he couldn't bad mouth him directly but everyone one of them has told their story indirectly.
      Clever, ruthless but not an engineer.

    I’m a retired home builder from DesMoines Iowa, which isn’t a big city, but it’s not real small counting the suburbs, but in DesMoines it grew continually frustrating to be any kind of builder, whether commercial, residential or even a remodeler, and I wonder if most all cities, like our federal government have the same problem, although the people in control I would have to assume don’t consider it a problem.
    But in the 40 plus years that I built homes, the red tape, the rules & regulations, the number of permits & inspections etc, was a continual increase, making it more difficult, complex, time consuming, and obviously makes housing more expensive. And what drives that sort of mentality and ideology I’m not sure, but it never got better.

    • @weignerleigner3037
      @weignerleigner3037 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      What sucks too is when you bring up de regulation people immediately always say “if we don’t have regulations then buildings would crumble” to me regulation is a perfect example of how humans care more about safety than freedom.

    • @jenniferdeckard3220
      @jenniferdeckard3220 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Because someone who's job was created to create red tape has to justify that job by creating more red tape. That's the problem with government any government there job is to either create regulations or to enforce regulations. Don't create and your worthless and not worthy of a promotion. It's a vicious cycle. Nobody gives promotions to regulators that eliminate regulations.
      When I was in thr military was stationed at a base and all the street signs were green. New base commander decided to change them all to brown. All these stats come out on how it's more military sooo much better in 10 different ways. He gets a promotion and moves on after a few years.
      Next commander comes in changes them all to green. All these stats come out how traffic accidents are down this and that sooo much better. He gets a promotion after a couple years and moves on. New commander and changes them back to brown and you guessed it same thing and they. Cycle repetes.
      They had to justify there jobs and promotions come to those that create really good regulations that have really great outcomes and you could creat a regulations that demands manure into the streets from farms and there are stats where it would benifit something guaranteed. Again it's a really crappy system and the bigger government is the worse it gets and the same goes for companies I've worked for size is directly promotional inefficient rules.

    • @andynewfriends
      @andynewfriends 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      That's the number one issue of why we have house affordability/shortage of new homes problem. Salaries is number two.

    • @garywilson7992
      @garywilson7992 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@weignerleigner3037 Well sure you need rules and regulations, without them there’s chaos, and there’s certain people who have a tendency to cheat if they’re not being inspected. But there’s extremes both ways, and whether it’s rules & regulations or the people that they’re meant for, who lack integrity and common sense it’s a problem.
      And then there’s the problem, that not everyone is suited to be in a position of power, because it goes to their head. Which goes right back to the kind of people who lack integrity.
      And look at our Nation for example, it’s been the best form of Government, with checks and balances, that’s benefited the common citizens, as well as freed more people from poverty and tyranny than any other form of government in all recorded history, but look what’s happened, when there’s too many people who lack integrity, and then the people who do have a fair portion of integrity, look the other way and let evil continue to grow.

    He's really good at pointing out the humor in bad choices made by others. As much as to some it may seem as though he is making the situation too light hearted or not taking it seriously, its most likely the opposite. It may make more sense if you happen to relate to NOT crying over spilled milk. The idea is that as much as it sucks, crying wont help. And that's actually not suggesting that crying never helps as if very much does to not only express a certain set of strong emotions, but also to let go what's bottling up. I am getting a little away from the point but what I am saying is that the exact reaction given to a situation is both important for yourself and for others and that as long as you understand why you have such reactions, you can really start to understand yourself and thus have more time to understand others. Elon I believe has figured himself out at a very young age. Not maybe to 100% as that's impossible with an ever evolving being as we all are. But certainly to a degree that allows him to focus on other things and not get stuck in the endless loop of self doubt, ego, and destructive comparison.

    One thing I love about Elon is his uncanny ability to use Jill Bolte Taylor's little know technique: According to current scientific understanding, humans are considered "feeling creatures that think," meaning our emotions often drive our thoughts and actions rather than the other way around; we feel first, then think about it. If you wish to Think like Elon, you best feel him! This video shows just how well he senses what we are thinking and how incredible is his openness and understanding of our wants and needs. Yes that is the mark of a leader...

    The question : "In a foreign country, should I follow my laws or the ones of the country?" is a good question, because the laws of the subject generate expectations in the middle-long term, which might be surprising for the counterparty and distort competition ("I believe that I will win, because I have followed the rules and done the due for years" and you lose instead, because there were other rules you were not used to and you did not expect, understand or want). The possible solutions are to apply the strictest law or a "constructed" compromise. This is a subject of research.

That technology opens up the very real possibility of generalized surveillance and control of the population through those robots, through back-doors installed by manufacturers and governments. Honestly, I know of no way to ever provide that assurance that your helpful robot wouldn't be in some way used against you in some subtle or not-so-subtle ways.

    Actually, it may be a crime in the USA to break the law of another country. Consider the Lacey Act - it may be a crime to import wildlife that was taken, passed, transported, or sold in violation of any foreign law. For example, it may be illegal to have a dead fish in Spain, and it does not matter if you killed the fish, the fish died of natural causes, or it committed suicide. If you come into America from Spain with such a dead fish, you have violated the Lacy Act.
    It is also a USA crime to bribe foreign officials even if legal in the foreign official's country. .

    Finally, someone who speaks the truth. He's very informative . . . and funny! The guy to the left of him on the same couch reminds me of the cartoon of Spike, the big, ruler-of-the-yard bulldog, and the hanger-on tiny dog that keeps running around, fawning over him wanting Spike to notice him. ✌

    He said one to two years of severance for people fired. The laws give far less, depending on the state. In many states, the required severance is zero unless written in the contract. I doubt Elon would give two years to an employee that didn’t have it written in his/her contract.

    A most eye opening experience watching and listening to this discussion. The assertions from Mr Musk,such as the getting rid of regulations, move all jobs to the private sector and projects moved forward as fast as he, the super human, really thinks they should. Taking a broad assessment of what he said, and the responses from his colleagues at the table , lead me to believe that A;- He has Aspergers syndrome. B;- He relies on rapid evaluation of feedback to shape his vocal responses, hence the stutter. C;- His visions are primarily turned to reality by teams of loyal, talented but over-worked and 'exploited' people who have the same very focused approached to a project. Simplistic solutions for complex projects never work as intended. FSD transport, space travel as an industry and the big one.... AI, artificial intelligence to solve humanities many defects. History is the proof of this.😊

I remember couple summers back, after my lengthy divorce, I needed a good boost to help my business stay afloat, hence I researched for licensed advisors and came across someone of utmost qualifications. She's helped grow my reserve notwithstanding inflation, from $275k to $850k.
