Absolutely. I do my own thing and started writing my own spells. For years I followed other spells exactly how I saw/ read them. Smh. So much better now that I'm doing what feels right for me.
I love your fun crafts. I have been a witch since 1971. My father was a farm which. He planted an harvested according to moon phase and he was also a healer. Back in his day, there were no doctors available and everyone came to us for my dad's healing remedies. I use mostly natural things in my crafting. But I love what you do. I have been binge watching your videos and enjoying them immensely. Maybe I will swap out a few materials for those that you choose to use. tips for ritual baths- put all your herbs into a little bag (one of the organza type ones) and hang it on the tap as the water is running, this way the energy goes into the bath without risking clogging and ruining your drains! always be careful with crystals and water, make sure to double check whether any crystals you're using can get wet or not!
I've been a solitary witch for several decades, I speak for myself. Your creativity is amazing and I personally believe homemade items work better. Whomever it was who stated they spoke for the pagan community has obviously never truly studied the craft and should do so before speaking of it again. I am so disturbed by what that person said about your craft. How dare they. You're the reason my craft is growing. You taught me that intent is the most important thing, not items, and lots of seasoned witches I've had interactions with say the same thing. Crafting items as witch CRAFT suggests, as tools is like a white candle... a substitute for everything. There are herbs that can be substitute for one another, crystals etc. Im part of several witchy communities on FB and everyone encourages each other to use what you have handy, craft what you can, expensive isn't necessary, use any item that resonates and speaks to you, and intent is everything! Not everyone has a store for Crystal's or pagan goods in town. Mine is 1hr away on a "good" driving day. Not only that, but these crafts help people still in the broom closet. Your videos have been such help. Ddue to unfortunate circumstances I lost my BoS and all my supplies. I kind of lost my path for awhile, but I've recently started again and am trying to replace years worth of supplies and notes. These dollar store crafts have been so much help, so thank you.

I've been encouraged by my own guides to try and go to inexpensive places to do crafting for whatever it is that inspires me. I'm a new Pagan (heathen if you will), and I like being able to create what I can without having to give my money to those who actually do spend time in making them themselves. If this person wants to start drama over someone who's giving creative advice, especially since the States is suffering economically or just simply can't afford it, they are not of any level of doing things for the highest good. And I've been in this type of struggle until this year; I'd think they really aren't helping anyone continue their journey by partly recommending that they only go to shops. I work at a shop, where I'm a reader, who hand-makes candles, oils, jewelry, as well as other things, like for spell work or divination usages. She runs a witch shop, where a large majority of those who are in her community, are Pagans. Keep doing you, dear.
Not even 6 minutes in and I can relate a lot. The craft is so versatile, nothing is just black and white. I'm a Green Christian Witch, so you can only imagine what I get from both "sides"...lol. I am so disturbed by what that person said about your craft. How dare they. You're the reason my craft is growing. You taught me that intent is the most important thing, not items, and lots of seasoned witches I've had interactions with say the same thing. Crafting items as witch CRAFT suggests, as tools is like a white candle... a substitute for everything. There are herbs that can be substitute for one another, crystals etc. Im part of several witchy communities on FB and everyone encourages each other to use what you have handy, craft what you can, expensive isn't necessary, use any item that resonates and speaks to you, and intent is everything! Omg I am so glad I found you. Being someone who is not able to find/afford witchy things, I love this. And shame on anyone who gives you issues. Not everyone has a store for Crystal's or pagan goods in town. Mine is 1hr away on a "good" driving day. Not only that, but these crafts help people still in the broom closet. You could go shoping with family and get stuff and they would think nothing of it.

I always love your witchy DIYs ! Dollar tree is one of my favourite stores and I love finding new ways to use Dollar tree items and create things for my practice.
To me, personally, it's not only about saving money. I somehow feel way more connected to things I crafted myself. I feel like they work better for and *with* me. I've poured in a part of myself in these things. Not mentioning it's relaxing and fun to do something while still not being able to go to work. Your videos have been such help. Ddue to unfortunate circumstances I lost my BoS and all my supplies. I kind of lost my path for awhile, but I've recently started again and am trying to replace years worth of supplies and notes. These dollar store crafts have been so much help, so thank you.

I've been encouraged by my own guides to try and go to inexpensive places to do crafting for whatever it is that inspires me. I'm a new Pagan (heathen if you will), and I like being able to create what I can without having to give my money to those who actually do spend time in making them themselves. If this person wants to start drama over someone who's giving creative advice, especially since the States is suffering economically or just simply can't afford it, they are not of any level of doing things for the highest good. And I've been in this type of struggle until this year; I'd think they really aren't helping anyone continue their journey by partly recommending that they only go to shops. I work at a shop, where I'm a reader, who hand-makes candles, oils, jewelry, as well as other things, like for spell work or divination usages. She runs a witch shop, where a large majority of those who are in her community, are Pagans. Keep doing you, dear.

All of your crafts are always so creative and expertly crafted, I love them! Also, I don't get why there are those who try to gate-keep witchcraft... I feel that the tools that you create yourself, or supplies that you recycle are so much more powerful than already prepared objects. I think that the more intention and time you put into something, the more energy and power it harbors. It's also better for the environment!
Exactly, because you are putting your energy and intention into the items. Magical items work better for the practitioner when it's only the practitioners energy in them.
