Bro awesome idea!!! I play so much nhl gm, and usually try to break it myself some way or another, but I never thought to give the AI full control to this level of a team. And sadly they did better than 90% of my franchises I make! It hurts, but great video man!!!

I havent even seen mcdavid hit 97 in all my nhl 21 franchise modes... He truly was carrying that team.
Ive got a couple ideas
1. Take a player who is a 2nd option on a team (example Leon Draisaitl and take McDavid off of the team and see how the oilers do with Leon as the captain and best player)
2. Make teams since the 2003 draft and re-do the whole first rounds and change the teams to match that ( example panthers take Leon at #1 instead of Ekblad)

create a dream team (fit under the salary cap) and see how long the ai takes to ruin it
Look at cap hits of free agent signings / extensions for the team
I drafted Lambert in my franchise with the bruins, ended up being like a 92 overall for me lol
U must have focused on just him kinda sad cause he sucks in the simulation compared to computer generated prospects
Idea : use random generator or something to pick a team at random- then use random number generator 1-20 to pick a player from that team. Do this until you have a full roster.

Idea: What would the AI do if you traded your top 3 trade value players at the start of every season. -use the find trade feature(accept whatever offer you like) 5 year simulation.

Marchand is 3 years younger then Bergeron I wouldn't call 33 your prime he's playing the best hockey of his life but he's not a prime aged player expiscally for a small foward

Idea: see how many 1st round draft picks you can get- this video is only about acquiring the 1st round picks for a future season- trade and tank at all cost.. 5 year limit
I wonder what 10 or 15 years could've done once they got a team to contend against the hot Canucks in your sim. The matched up against them every year they were in the playoffs and the only time they beat Vancouver they won the cup.

You should do this as a series but try to keep track of the trades that the team makes. I'd like to see what Hoffman got traded for. I guess that was for picks or prospects and if so, that means the ai kind of know what it's doing.

When the Eichel trade goes down, plug it in and see what happens in 5 seasons for the Sabres so I know how many edibles to buy

Height dosent matter in this game would be a waste of time it never mattered either I remember back in nhl 13 or 14 there was a free agent who was 5 foot tall
And in nhl 12 I think nail yakupov was listed at 5 foot 2 but he was no shorter then any 5 foot 7 players
