Most difficult way of communicating things is being clear, concise, direct. You seemed to do it really good in this video. Thanks a lot for the review!
This is my dream backpack, right now I don't have the money or the means to buy one, but it's definitely going to be in my possession soon enough, thanks for the video!
Interesting, this bag is like the highest rated bag on all of Amazon w TONS of happy customers, but I had to watch 200 backpack videos and click about 500 backpacks all over the internet before I even saw this one. It's slightly too big for me, but helpful review and an interesting, functional bag different than all the rest for sure.
I got one of these and love it, it just can be a bit heavy full of gear if you need to walk around a city all day, like if you're waiting to check into your hotel, But mine's traveled with me to at least 20 countries.
I had a High Sierra XBT that I used as my go too travel backpack. Used it for 5 years, it finally fell apart on me, in the Airport in Holland. It was sad, like yours, mine went with me to every country I visited in the 5 years I owned it.
Fun Fact - When I was a Sophomore in high school (1980), I took a backpacking class. I was the only girl and it was an awesome class. We went on several day trips in the local mountains and 1 overnight trip too. We were taught the 10 essentials for backpacking and lots of other cool things. Don’t forget your whistle, note pad and water proof matches. 😊
@@SteveSherron Now that you mention it, on the overnight trip another hiker took my backpack and carried it for the last mile. He had already hit camp and then came back to help me. Yes, I'm spoiled! It was quite a trek with lots of snow.
2 things you should add to your video... 1. The size/capacity of the backpack. Dimensions. 2. The end bit showing you wearing it was good, I liked seeing how it looks when worn, one small thing that would help to gage the size of just from eyeballing it is to know the height of the model. AKA how tall are you? 🤔
I've had my Kitchen Sink for about 15 years now, and over those 15 years, I've used it most days. You can see that it's been used and abused over the years, but for a backpack that has been used most days for 15 years, it's held up very, very well, but starting to fall into "disrepair". ☹️
@@SteveSherron Absolutely. Really, the only thing wrong is the wet pouch (mine has drainage holes in it) exterior is starting to deteriorate quickly. The fabric covering the lower back has worn out due to it rubbing on my back over the years.
Hello, i have oldest model. Very good quality. But dont put sharpen things to pockets on the sides its makes holes inside pocket. 2 dont put laptop to inside pocket. Because pocket not hard, its broke laptop

My brother got this when he first joined the army and served 8 years with it. 11 years later, the bag looks brand new. Just might have to buy one

I really do appreciate this comment.
Wanted this backback for about 10 years, just looks stunning and looks so versatile. finally bit the bullet today.
it's a great pack for you.
@@SteveSherronWill find out in a few weeks. :p
had to import it from the US to UK from Oakley direct as it was far cheaper (weirdly)
And so did I. Great pack that should last many years.
@@thefpvlife7785 Glad I got it, absolutely love it. :)
You mean this pack has been out 10 years ago?

I have no idea what this comment has to do with the Oakley brand KS, but thank you for the wholesome comment and sharing your life experience!
Thanks Steve. Quick and concise
Might be my next railroad grip, excellent bag!
Perfect review, thanks from Italy man.
Thanks for the great review, the hard pockets that are in the front of this bag. The Bathroom Sink only has normal fabric pockets.
Thanks bro
Nice demonstration
Thank you

Has anybody found a use for those side Velcro straps?
Is it waterproof?
I would say no

No idea.

I'm sure you could, been thinking of using this as a sbr bag myself do to how secure the main compartment is.
What is the name of that Oakley backpack
Oakley Men's Kitchen Sink is the name. Link in description.
Why is it called kitchen sink please?
You’ve never heard the saying “everything but the kitchen sink”? It’s a play on an old metaphor.
Because you can fit the kitchen sink in it.
Calculators? 😅
Hi isit heavy?
I don't have it handy to weigh it. The Amazon description should list it's weight.
@@SteveSherron but where u use this bag, does it feel heavy? No nid to tell me exact weight, isit heavy? Cos i am ordering it
To answer your question, it is heavy empty pack it weighs like 500-600g
