    I bought this almost a year ago. Tested it in store and liked it..took it home and didn’t like it as much! I bought other fragrances and left this one..it sat untouched for a year! Sprayed it on me and it’s one of the best one of my collection. Lasts all day and smells like a caramel marshmallow! Great scent…if this was in a Tom Ford bottle it was get more attention.
    Great Review Mehdi! 👊🏾

    Accurate review! I think they’re mixing it up with the other Raghba Wood which is sweet and caramel sugary. This has far less sugar and you’re the first reviewer to highlight this rather than call it sugary sweet. It’s very smoky and like you said has just a “little hint of sugar “. Well done!

    I bought this fragrance because it was compared to At the Fireplace. It is not similar. At first I didn't like it, but I gave it a few tries. I love it now!

    I really like this one. I like the OG Raghba as well, but this one isn't nearly as sweet. I get more tobacco notes from this one, as well as the obvious woody notes. It's a great buy!

    I have this from a year or so ago. It must have leaked or sprayed in the car boot. The boot smelled of this for literally weeks. It’s unbelievable. I’m kinda scared of it. I’ll have to give it another go. 1.5 sprays😂

    Ok guys out of these 3 which is best and what is closest to by the fireplace
    Lattafa ameer intense
    Paris corner campfire
    Raghba wood intense

    • @jaymartinson3236
      @jaymartinson3236 ปีที่แล้ว

      None of these are going to be an exact match to By The Fireplace. The closest one is Emir Campfire, though its still not the same. In my opinion Ameer Al Oudh Intense Oud and Raghba Wood Intense are not at all like BTF except for that they fall into the same genre or category.
      As for the best? Very subjective. In my opinion if Almeer Al Oud Intense Oud had a smoke note (it's not smokey at all) then it would be the best... But it doesn't. So that being said I'd personally rank them like this:
      1. Original By The Fireplace
      2. Emir Campfire
      3. Raghba Wood Intense
      4. Ameer Al Oudh Intense Oud.
      As a side note, if you happen to like Santal 33, Emir does a clone of it called Rich Santal that is EXCELLENT. It's very close. It is my signature scent that I layer with other fragrences.

    Oud for glory or this one ?

    • @jaymartinson3236
      @jaymartinson3236 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      They are totally different from eachother. I own both.
      Oud For Glory is a much darker more mysterious saffron based scent, but still has some freshness. Oud For Glory has sweetness, but its more of an herbal sweetness and there isnt really any smoke. Wood Intense is more of a sugary sweetness with smoke and licorice. Some people compare Wood Intense to a smokey "root beer" smell. Oud For Glory is more refined, mature, and masculine. Wood Intense has a little bit of a playful side and is more mass appealing.
      So if you want saffron and spices, go for Oud For Glory. If you want Smoky woody root beer, go for Wood Intense. I prefer Oud For Glory between the two, but I like them both a lot.

    I bought that perfume from reading and watching many reviews. I thought I was gonna like it as I like strong scents like Dark Rider, Bentley Intense, etc.
    However, when it arrived and I tried it, I was really disgusted. It smelled like cat urine. So, I put it back in the box, shelved it, regretted my decision to buy it, and posted a few bad comments about it.
    The next week out of boredom I tried it again and it seemed almost passable.
    Then, to make a long story short, within a few more days it has become the BEST perfume I've ever bought. Just ordered a back up bottle 2 days ago just in case it suddenly becomes discontinued. Honestly!
