- Hey friends, today I'm reviewing Lattafa Perfumes Raghba. This fragrance was hyped years and years ago as an alternative to Scentstory 24 Gold which also was once hyped and more difficult to find. Raghba features oud, vanilla, sugar and incense amongst it's notes. As always thanks for watching!

Middle east writing looks very elegant. It makes their perfumes look more appealing to the eyes and I really like it!

Hi Ash! I have this one and it s stellar! Whenever I wear it, I get compliments! There are 2 sites in the UK that sell Lattafa stuff and they are really economical! I have a penchant for the Middle Eastern frags....they are such great value! I had been wearing it all day at work and the compliment came...totally unsolicited....when I was walking back to my car as I was giving a young lady a lift after work! So, as far as longevity is concerned, I cannot fault it! I bought it during the Autumn on 1019, so it is not an older version, I am sure

Great review. I own the older darker juice you speak of. There is a Raghba Classic Flanker listed on Fragrantica, which has different ingredients.
Ash, Im impressed you still remember how this fragrance smelled and performed when you had it over 5 years ago and now! And also remember how the box looked like when you go it both times!!!

Another great content Ashton, I think I have the older version before the reformulation it included a 10 or 15ml rectangular spray atomizer and have a great, blessed, wonderful, positive, productive and safe weekend and Happy Easter to you and your family and as well to you and your family stay safe

Great review as always. Have always been interested in these types of houses and wether or not they are all clones. Can’t really sample them in a store so never tried them. Would love to hear reviews of Arabian Oud frags.

I agree with u m also using it from last two years and now performance is not there as it was in previously when it was new but still smells grt. Thnx for ur brief description on it.
In the UK, I have been able to get a (surprisingly-generous) 20ml 'wallet card' spray which was literally a few quid. Still comes in a lovely box, just like the one you showed for the full size, but the atomiser would slip in even a slim suit jacket pocket. Very woody, with a sugary vanilla and a twist of incense smoke. It does seem a little weak on me but I have so far only used it once as a couple of sprays on my wrist.

Great video Ashton. I'm curious to hear your thoughts about Raghba Wood Intense. It's one I have and it focuses more on the woods, but it has a sweet, licorice vibe underneath it. Longevity is excellent, at least 8 hours or more. It's a shame Lattafa has reformulated Raghba, though.

Ordered from Amazon a few weeks ago. I wouldn't say it's a safe introduction to M.E. fragrances nor is it a safe blind buy. I didn't know what to think of it at first but it's starting to grow on me. I find that the spray lasts longer than the bottle on paper but on skin it doesn't smell that great. Can't wait to try it in winter so we'll see how it performs then. For a sweeter less smokey blend I layer it with Shams Al Emarat Khususi = 🤯🙌

24 gold is far and away the strongest fragrance I own, I can only go a single spray with it and it's still a beast.
The wood intense is on another level been rocking it for about five years now.

Ash, within my experience in having this similarity of vibe or under same category, perhaps you may try to review St. Dupont Royal Amber or St. Dupont Noble Wood and Kalemat by Arabian Oud. I think the composition of Royal Amber by St Dupont and Kalemat by Arabian Oud are more refined and would be great if you may share your thoughts and review about it.

Excellent frag with superb performance for me. The Wood Intense version is also excellent imho.
Just now watching this. I have had my bottle for about six months. Was lighter in color and projection/longevity at first. Now, color is darker and it lasts way longer. I sprayed this 12 hours ago and I can still smell it. I wonder if they started mass producing it when it became popular rather than letting them sit on the shelf and macerate, and that’s why it is a different experience now.

I fell into 24 Gold hype years ago and bought it and I wore it just 2 time and could not stand the scent!! I really tried to get use to it but couldn’t. I still have the bottle with just 3 or 4 sprays less.
Actually I think reformulations should be a topic addressed more strongly, precisely because it almost always means some deterioration of the performance or of the fragrance itself. Right now going through the process of returning a Mugler Cologne "Come Together" because I had ordered the original Mugler Cologne from Amazon (Germany), not the Come Together one. The vendor will accept the return but they insist it's the same fragrance as the original, just different bottle. I wish some of you reviewers, likely exposed to the originals, or still with them in your collections, or in any case likely with finely trained noses, would let us know your thoughts about any of these new releases which might likely be reformulations, possibly similar enough and of no concern, or probably dissapointing, less performing etc.
When is your bottle produced? I just purchased 2017 batch for 9 usd from local shop in UAE (that is actually the price for this here) and came with travel spray perfume (8-10ml I believe).Hope is the pre reformulation .
About the longevity, I heard the air affects the molecules after you lose a couple sprays it becomes different and more longlasting. I also noticed this with a few of my fragrances (Mancera for example). I see you have a full raghba bottle. It is 9 months ago you have done this video. How is the longevity right now?

To me it smells EXACTLY like Bvlgari man in black but with a much better performance. Bvlgari MIB turns into a skin scent really fast but this one projects much better.

I have this fragrance with the extra body spray as well. I find it to be powdery in the dry down that I am not a huge fan of.

I have this since 2015 which i imported from Qatar. This one shines in the cold weather. In summer or in a humid condition it's a no no.
Yes you can wear it during the summer, you'll be fine. Middle Eastern people use Oud all year round.

I bought the same thing and got dissapointed a bit. Then I got the same perfume directly from Lattafa in 30ml size from 2022 and I feel like it is the old scent, more concentrated and darker in color. Also the bottle is engraved with the brand name.

I've never seen/heard TH-camrs from US or Europe to talk about the Indonesian house Animale. Their frags are hugely popular here in Brazil, they are very cheap, really, and there are at least a winter monster in the house's portfolio: Animale Animale Animale (yep, three times!). Any thoughts?

The tobacco note is very strong in the beginning , then-- hint of cedarwood, vanilla, oud and sandalwood ,,mid low-- brown/ burnt sugar and bourbon , base --patchouli, dirt, smoked oakwood and after a couple of hours you get the vanilla bean scent ,,, really nice

Albait aldimashqi perfumes is a high quality clone house in Middle East, give em a try, I tried D&G The One EDT and it lasted on my skin for hours, wasn't paying attention on projection tho

I don't get any vanilla in it. Just recived it like 5 minutes ago. Honestly, smells like any common incense used in Asian households. May be it smells exotic to Western noses and hence the hype.

Lattafa do some absolutely fantastic stuff. Najdia is great raghba wood intense great but to much and it gives you a headache.....Khas lil rijal black edition is also a beast
