Good review, I love this too. BTW it released before by the fireplace. Much prefer it to that and don't think they're too similar.

Raghba came on the market a year earlier, it cannot be a replica. It's just the opposite. Raghba was released in 2014, By the Fireplace was released in 2015, according to the fragantica.

On fragrantica it is noted that it was made in 2014, has this perfume been reformulated and has the quality dropped or is it the same since the 1st batch of 2014??

Middle east houses are making an awesome job and the prices are incredible.
Another favorite of mine we agree on. I love Raghba WI, it's awesome. I also have Lattafa's Raghba, the earlier version and it's great too. It is based on the burnt sugar accord with vanilla and oud. It doesn't have the incense or wood notes but is great on its own as well. And I agree, Lattafa puts out some pretty amazing stuff, and the prices are unbeatable!
I have tried it but definitely prefer the Wood Intense. I have something of an addiction to incense/smoky accords.
Speaking of which, I've found what I perceive to be the very best rendition of this By The Fireplace/Wood Intense DNA; another surprise one from Lattafa. Expect a review in the next few weeks

On Parfumo it is mentioned, that the fragrance is discontinued. Anyone knows more?
I can't confirm, but it seems that all of the North American discounters are out of stock except for Fragrancenet.com. Also, no reputable European site has it for sale.
I would say that if Fragrancenet.com increases their prices in the short term, that would likely be indicative of discontinuation.
I was hoping you'd bring in the one behind you, to the left, in the picture and compare these two. Yes, I am talking about Ameer Al Oud Intense!!! I guess you prefer Raghba WI over it. How do you compare the two?

which one is better?
They are both based on glazed chestnut and sweetness.
Raghba Wood adds smoky and licorice, while Ameer is just woody with no smoke or licorice.
It is not redundant to own both
As far as which one is better:
Ameer is closer to By The Fireplace but Raghba Intense just adds an exciting flair to the DNA. It is smokier than both of them and the licorice is really nice in my opinion.
The performance on Raghba might be slightly better

I must say by far this is one of the best and addictive smelling fragrance in my collection 10/10
The incense note is just amazing period.
for some reason when I took the cap off 3-4 times after opening the box, the atomizer came out with spring and now it wont fit properly, just using it somehow so for atomizer and cap 0/10
Another issue I have noticed, not sure if it is related to my batch, the fragrance lasts only 30 min on clothes after that it vanishes completely, on skin it lasts ~4 hours with 1 feet projection.
overall very happy with the scent but not so much with the atomizer and performance on clothes.
@@Shahezad_ Sorry to hear about the structural issues. Sounds like just a bad bottle, or maybe in transit it was busted up - it's been known to happen. Have the supplier send you a picture of the bottle before it was sent. Idk if that is worth it to you for such a cheap bottle, but I would do it.
Agreed, the scent is very good and i especially love the smoky licorice.
I think the performance is very good both on clothes and skin!
Who cares about the makeup of the bottle? It's the juice in it that really matters.
Lots of people care - there is a large demographic that values aesthetics just as much as quality of scent for their collections.

@@realscentreview 😳 wow! It seems to me like that's a mentally psychological issue. Why get all upset over a fragrance bottle and it's packaging, when in fact after it's empty is going to be thrown out in the trash anyway. I mean just who is going to be walking around out in the public community going from place to place wearing a fragrance bottle around their neck or showing it off, because they think the bottle is so good looking in top quality? It's the juice they will be wearing anyway😅😅. The manufacturer makes their money off of the juice in their bottles, not off the bottle and the box itself, this is why they don't care about making a fancy beautiful expensive looking bottle and packaging. I believe if they did this, the price for the fragrances we buy would be much higher than it is now. They go with cheap material to save money and keep the production cost down. This is how they run their business, and what can we do about how they are running it? Everything is so very expensive nowadays, and businesses are cutting the cost down of making things, or just going out of business because of the high cost of everything. These are not cheap times anymore that we are living in, when the cost of making things was very low. I am sure this is what's going on here, it's about saving money and keeping the cost down in production. I find that even some of these high-end fragrance manufacturers are making and using cheap material for their very expensive fragrance bottles and packaging boxes.
This smells like you just sat too close to a fireplace or walked out of a burning forest, nothing but burning woods, I think this is one that needs some layering to make it atleast intresting.
I dislike this perfume. Imo, lattafa is not a good clone house. They smell pretty synthetic and most of them smell 50% same to one another.
Afnan, Rasasi and Ahmed Al Maghribi are the only good budget middle eastern houses.
Try out afnan rare carbon, didnt buy ombre leather after using it
I disagree - I think Lattafa has some great offerings.
However, do expect more reviews from fragrances of those mentioned houses in the near future.
