It's amazing how the land / terrain changes in such a small distance for the viewers not familiar with the location. Sandy soil at Elsham Hall and half a mile up the hill a massive old deep chalk quarry, used to push bike to both 45 years ago and competition trials motorbike in the old quarry and then a few miles north old deep clay pits for brick and roof tiles. Love the digger work, must be Greenstar GPS on the digger eh lol
Enjoyed watching this..on a wet and windy day..muti tasking again from the team.. Keep an eye out for my Drone when your back @ Roxby / Winterton..thanks for a another great video..
Hope they got volt drop calculations right on cable. If not could have issues with gate drive. If voltage drops to much could use step up transformer at supply end to boost it or at gate end Been there
I did my rape at the same time. Astrokerb Belkar and fungicide .It rained on the last field as I pulled out .To my pleasant surprise the broad leaf was well curled over 48 hrs later .I got lucky 150 l 025 3.5 bar did the trick 😊
If you ask me there is absolutely no justification for all the spoil going in one pile. The only excuse is poor operator ability. Whether you're on a 5t or a 50t, you can easily fill even an oversized bucket a couple of times over with clean topsoil. If those buckets aren't the last layer in the trench backfill, shame on you. No excuse more than laziness.
I agree with what your saying on some soil types, but there is no quality topsoil on this job, just sand, and I consider putting the grass back on top of the trench, which contains topsoil, more important on this job than any thing else.
I look forward to Saturday mornings to watch your excellent farming videos and the varied jobs you do. Please keep them coming.
Thanks, will do! 😊.
A man of many talents, like so many farm staff. Nice job.
Thanks😊
another great video 👍

@@Shaunalexander.99 to be honest yes we was, it gets smaller every year. Probably won’t be going either next year.
