I was done in the 1st 2 minutes when they 'needed' a "simple" addition of 1500 more square feet for a home that is only for summer use. Bless your hearts.

Sarah’s way ahead of her time, because these days you can buy a TV that has art work when it’d turned off, my son has one, there not cheap but you get to chose your art work. The new tv s have the speakers in the screen itself, so no problem when the doors open.
I hope the family does another project together!

I like the idea of the window boxes being the dark gray of the window trim.
The exterior works wonderfully with the towns architecture and blends the barn structure great design

Abode this is not Sarah's summer home but a rental property for other people on vacation like Airbnb.
I think those wicker chairs were made in Kentucky...
I generally quite like the house as grey is my favourite neutral but I don't like the kitchen. The range hood and side cupboards look kind of hodge podge and I dislike the way the veining on the two marble splashbacks runs in opposite directions; it makes it look like it's made of off cuts. Also the tiny backyard umbrella looks a bit silly. Nonetheless it is pretty beautiful on the whole and I'd be more than happy to stay there.
I would like to know what fabric store, that Sarah mentioned has an online shop, Sarah Richardson went to, to pick fabrics for the living room in the addition.
Siri you are the best interior designer I think I’ve watched all the years that I watch in Trevor design you are the best of the best I wish you lived close to me I live in California and I have a new house about 20 years old but oh I would love you to come and do some of this I know I couldn’t afford it but oh I love your work you are undoubtedly the best I mean the best

I sense that Ally was crying because her room did not turn out to her liking. She did not look happy.
I do not understand why you add kitchen handles at all. Without it would look more like living room instead of a kitchen in an open room. Otherwise i like your Color scheme and ideas to make it a perfect place to feel home
All of her spaces are similar or the same… I think she is talented but wish she would expand her style
Every-other property is a BnB/vacation rental these days. It's no wonder people can't find a place to live. Seems like landlords feel no sense of responsibility to their community, just their own gain. I guess that's nothing new, but the BnB craze has certainly ramped it up.
I should not be watching this right now, I have my right hand immobilised right now due to a tendon repair, and I can't drive. Under normal circumstances, if housebound I turn to DIY, crafting etc.. waiting programs like this fill me with huge ideas, I'm do irritated that I can't plough in, it's scary😱

This Victorian was destroyed. Painting a few pieces to "tie in" the addition color doesn't mean it works or looks cohesive.
I think i find Ally's new room kind of boring... I loved her old wallpaper a lot more.
That kitchen layout is not good. That weird cabinet by the island is not appealing at all. I think the entire layout could be so much better. This is just hodgepodge, like you’re doing it just because you can not for what is best for the space and use.
I love what Sarah does. But She takes out too many walls. It’s an old house. Walls are part of vintage. She takes out all the vintage

Yuk. How to destroy a lovely old house.
It's generally kind of pretty, and I get that there's an overall neutrality that expands appeal, but on the whole, the interior felt too industrial and cold to me. Too grey. And switching the exterior details and roofing from white to black, imho, looks terrible. It contrasts rather than complimenting the weathered brick. That, and the round mirror in the green bathroom is off center for no apparent reason which made my OCD twitch every time it was shown. Round all that up with a monthly rent of over 10K, and it makes me shake my head. Fun to watch the project though.
You look so pretty in red….why don’t you ever use a red sofa or any red…..why so much white….if you had boys instead of girls you outdid have had to use so dark colors

Title is misleading. Click bait. I BUILD HOUSES....she is interacting with others on a reno. Upsets me that when people pay for construction that it is mislabeled as 'building'. It disparages female carpenters like myself who finance & build or renovate on our own with our own tools, our own hands. When I subcontract for the electrical or decide to have a drilled well rather than digging another one on my own...I say so. Don't pretend or misrepresent.
Tommy is stupendous…what a guy….he is eat up with personality. The two of y’all are a perfect team….is he always in a great mood!!!! He is charming and funny and handsome and has fantastic taste in clothes and design….hugs carolyn from Columbus GA
