I absolutely love your DT videos! You’re the only one I’ve seen on TH-cam who actually shows what things look like. You open the boxes! Thank you! I appreciate that!
FYI if your Dollar Tree has the 10 piece of veggie spring rolls they are so so yummy. I like them much more than those I can buy anywhere else. They're so good with sweet chili sauce or you can make your own budget dipping sauce with some apricot jelly or jam, some hot sauce and vinegar or use whatever you like. If you buy the frozen fried rice they often have in the freezer case at Dollar Tree you can have a really filling meal for $2.50. If you add a bowl of ramen soup, my store sells a 3 pack for $1.25 or one of the big microwave rsmen tubs of ramenor a flater tray of ramen for $1.25. If you added the potstickers and bought the 3 pack of rsmen, you could have a really decent dinner for 2 with 4 dishes for $5, way less than Chinese takeout. I love the potstickers. Pork is my favorite. I'd probably add some ice cream and cookies for dessert and have zero shame inviting my sister over for dinner and a movie. I'd adding a bag of popped popcorn and a bottle of soda for beverage and snacks during movie viewing. All that for much less than 2 movie tickets. I have a big screen TV, big comfy couch. Movie night is a good idea. Sis and I can watch a chick flick. Lol.
Oh girl now you’ve given me so many amazing ideas to make a girls night dollar tree menu! Take out, desert, and a movie! How amazing is that! My sister and I used to do at home pedicures, face masks, watch a movie, and eat chocolate frosting with a spoon when I was younger. You just reminded me of that sweet memory ❤️
So happy that they have the spring rolls! I got to where I was buying the Lean Cuisine version I found for about a year or two and then they went away. Of course I had to buy those when they were on sale or as a once in awhile treat because of the price. A lot of times I would just use a spicy hot mustard, tastes kind of like the kind you get at a Chinese restaurant - I always tried to grab extra duck sauce when I had Chinese takeout, to have on hand for that reason. That with the potsticker dumplings... 😊😊
Could you use the vegetable egg roll filling as the veggies for fish tacos? Just sort of deconstruct it? Or heck, make the egg roll and slice it up and put the pieces in a tortilla with the fish?

I made the pot pies for breakfast for all the kids (grown grandkids) and served them with a fried egg on top. Seven grands from 19-27 and the only thing they mostly added was pepper. I love Tinas brand burritos. I buy them at Walmart all the time. I wrap mine in a damp paper towel while microwaving to avoid the tortilla getting hard.
It awesome to have a honest review on DT foods. Being on limited income from medical stuff it’s hard to get good tasting food without eating complete junk and it’s hard to spend a $1.25 on something that may be terrible and if you have transportation issues added you may buy a couple of something and it is substandard. Idea for fish taco: flour tortilla, fish stick . Them in a bowl add drained corn, canned black beans and some rotes tomatoes. Stir and put taco. (Drain liquid of rotes but use to make rice to have with it)
A little tip for frozen pot pies in the oven. Just before putting them in the oven, either spray the tops with butter flavored cooking spray, or spread softened, NOT MELTED, butter over the top crust. Sprinkle some garlic powder over the crust, and bake as usual.

I’ve actually made it out of fish portions from Food Lion and it was really good!!!
I’m so glad you liked the lasagna and your coworkers too! I have googled it several times and everything I read says they are edible unless indicated otherwise on the package so I guess its personal preference, I ate them as a kid haha
I don't know what others think, but I think it would be fine to supplement your Dollar Tree finds with some affordable produce from somewhere else. That can give extra recipe options. Cause I love your videos!
I think that’s not a bad idea, like an easy fish taco would be dollar tree tortillas and fish sticks and a southwest salad kit from Walmart or another store for a simple $10 family dinner
The issue is that maybe transportation. Dealing with medical issues atm and I can’t drive so getting to 1 store at someone else convenience is sometimes hard not to mention the physical aspect. They do have frozen veggies and fruits as well as canned fruits which are shown in some videos.
I can't stop recommending your videos to people, lol. I think that even if someone doesn't shop at the dollar tree, your videos are still amazing. I use your videos as recipe inspiration a lot. I enjoy cooking, but some days after work it's just another chore. You make it easier on those days. I enjoy any recipe that uses shelf stable items as I can usually try to keep those on hand. There are very few channels like yours. I love your creativity with the sometimes limited options because you know that for a lot of people, those limited options are all they have. I know you hear it a lot, but you are so genuine and have such a good heart. Thank you for sharing it with us ❤.
1 of my random favorite things to eat lately came from you! The frozen xxl burritos covered with the enchilada sauce and i also have done both shredded cheese and also the canned nacho cheese. The canned nacho cheese looks disgusting but it actually tastes really good over the burrito. Kind of how you described the enchilada sauce...not the best looking but it tastes really good. I think since seeing you make it a couple weeks ago I've legit made it like 5-6x lol The new mic sounds good also thanks for all your work👍
Thank you! If you ever see the home style brand jalapeño nacho cheese in the short can it’s amazing, one of my favorite dollar tree finds it’s a lot like Taco Bell nacho cheese. There’s also the little packets of jalapeño velveeta that are great too! I’m so glad you have a new obsession meal!
@@DollarTreeDinners I appreciate the response. I actually just picked up more burritos and sauces yesterday (lol) and happened to see the Velveeta jalapeno cheese packet...for some reason I didn't even think about that for the burritos lol I will have to try it next time! The only problem I have with your channel...to many ideas I have a notebook app on my phone with about 30 ideas from you now lmao but each time I go get items I pick up the burritos again hahahaha
Haha I feel that! I actually am the opposite, because I have a lot of favorites that I want to revisit and keep making but I have to try new things for videos so I don’t get to eat many of my all time favorites very often 😂😂😂
I am homeless living out my car, I’d love to see videos of food that doesn’t require any cooking since I don’t have access to refrigerator or microwave or stove
I can do my best! Dollar tree does actually have some good no reheat options like they have the little cracker kits with tuna/chicken salad. Also many gas stations have a microwave you can use and hot water you can use for noodles. Oatmeal is a good option for breakfast because you can soak it in room temperature water and top it with nuts and dried fruit for added texture. Also I feel like texture is always something to look forward to so I like making bologna sandwiches with mustard and corn chips for added crunch
A couple months old, but im glad to see the appreciation for the potstickers. Those things were my go-to for a LONG time. Might have to see if they still have them near me lol
I've really enjoyed watching your video because you are very informative, detailed in all aspects of your presentation and actually fun to watch. What I find fun about your presentation is the variety of food, the variety in cooking and silverware, plates and even chopsticks! I also enjoyed your wardrobe, makeup, and style of presentation. Re the chimmichangas: They look like they're already fried, like the eggrolls. Which also gives baking directions, right? Love, love, love your videos and your compassion to people living on a tight budget. Really appreciate that you keep in mind that not every has the ability to go to multiple stores to get their food. And that you give your honest opinion on products so that people on a tight budget will know before they buy. You are clearly a lovely person.
Of course! I think I had a clip where I talked about them not really looking prefried out of the package but I cut it out for the sake of not talking too much haha 😂😂😂
Made your sausage and gnocchi from your last video. I was at stop and shop but the ingredients were pretty affordable. Used mild Italian sausage and It was absolutely wonderful!
I’ve made the pot pies in the microwave often and the bowls have the crisping material that the hot pockets have so they come out great. I’ve had all flavors including the fruit ones and all are yummy!

I think I’ve tried everything & I always appreciate your tips & reviews. I took one bite of a fish stick & I immediately gave them to my husband. They reminded him of his childhood so he ate them all but they weren’t to my liking. I love the potstickers & the chimi & burritos are OK. TFS 💕

My son and husband really like the potpie. Today is the last day of your 20.00 $ challenge in our home ,, I had zero complaints I was rather impressed with that and the brain work that goes into the dollar tree challenge and brought out my creative side ,, Happy cooking God Bless
This was so good to see. My brother had recommended the Korean dumplings from Dollar tree which I have yet to try (they're in my freezer.) Now I will be brave😅😅 and try them and look for the pot stickers next time I'm in Dollar tree.
Love to watch your videos. You mentioned in a video that you went through a major weight loss journey. I was wondering if you could share more about your weight loss journey. Thanks.
I usually make two of the pot pies in the microwave along with a package of sausage then dice up the sausage and mix it all together. For under $4 it's not a terrible meal.. I like these fish sticks or just fish sticks in general as a sandwich. Homemade tartar sauce a little bit of lemon and some white bread.. I haven't tried the new larger burritos but the chimichangas and the older shorter burritos are some of my top go to meals for my roadpro 12v oven.. sometimes I cover them with salsa and cheese while they cook but I've also used a can of chili and added cheese at the end.. it's real cast iron stomach food but I like it..
Some folks microwave it first to thaw it and partially cook it and then air fry it. Or you can just air fry it from thawed, if you don’t have a microwave. I love the spring rolls!
I tried those lobster/chicken/shrimp egg rolls you did in another video. Your advice was great, they were very tasty. So since that worked out, I'll take your advice this time around. :3 Here's hoping!
I like the reviews because it helps when i go to dollar tree i find myself in the frozen section more often by the frozen vegetables i buy the one with the onions and peppers your reviews do help you dont have to explain anything to anyone glad you take the the time to do it.🌍👍🌍💯🌍🍀🌍👏🌍🌟🌍😋🌍✌️🌍🥰🌍
Thanks so much. I always appreciate how informative your videos are and all of the effort that goes into them. I will definitely give these items a try.
One of my fave Dollar Tree meals is brown frozen sausage and put it in my crock pot with a bag of lentils. Toward the end I add DT dried parsley. If you can afford it rice some frozen or canned mixed veggies and or some diced tomatoes. Easy to free style and can work into your budget. Some garlic toast rounds it out.
Just found your page and I love it! great job :) very honest and relatable, and its nice to have some good variety/options when food is getting so expensive
They are called chimigangas because they come already fried , the tortilla is already prepared to heat. Once you heat it up with no oil or anything it crisps up on its own.
I've used the beef and cheese chimis with Spanish rice and beans on the side, and used salsa con quest over the chimis for a cheap Tex-Mex meal. I don't recommend the D.T. canned cheese sauce. If you save with the chimis spring for a jar of salsa con queso from Walmart the taste is loads better.
I appreciate you and all that you do for us 💕🙏 Thankyou for purchasing, reviewing for us and getting creative also 🙏 I have soooooooo many ideas from you 😊
I actually had the sausage and gravy pot pie in my freezer that I hadn't tried yet, and I was excited to see you try it first. Thanks for the recommendation of extra pepper. So good! Fun to benefit from your review. Thank you! And thanks for sharing these videos. Have a great week! 😊
Love your reviews Rebecca! Appreciate your honesty. Walmart and Meiers used to carry the Banquet Sausage and Gravy potpie, but no more. I remember it as being pretty good.
I just found El Monterey bean & cheese XXL Chimichangas and Burritos at my D/Tree for the first time today, eager to give them a try (they already had the chicken and beef kinds, but I'm not a big meat eater). Told the clerk about your channel and she's very excited to check it out!
our dollartree Chinese dinner is the dumplings(fried in sesame oil) And a dash of soy sauce, spring rolls and a few of the microwave trays of teriyaki ramen 😋
I totally missed this! Omg the Fish sticks i grew up on. Walmart sells out! They actually sell these in grocery stores as well. At Walmart you get 120 for $7.98 and at Dollar Tree you get 12 for $1.25. So If you bought the equal amount, you'd spend $12.50. So def a better deal at Walmart..we put them on a roll for a fish stick sandwich..or add some mac n cheese & either french cut green beans or corn. Just delicious..the burritos you can get a bag of 8 for $5.17 and you can microwave or air fry..just incase you can't make your own. If u can make & freeze them you could have meat & bean..or just bean..or even breakfast ones. Wrapped in foil & you'll have a fast meal..Chimichangas are the same price.. 8 for $5.17.
you can air fry any burritos or chimi's spray on a generous spray of oil and go to town. its a game changer for some very simple tortilla wrapped meals. i do this in huge numbers in my convection oven to feed a dozen guys at once without all that panfry time
I cook my potstickers, using the reverse of what you did. I get them crispy on the bottom first and then steam them. I know you think that they wouldn’t stay crispy but I only steam them for four minutes so it’s actually okay. Getting that many potstickers for $1.25 is a steal!
Feel like you might have some new items to ‘fry’ with a hotel iron. 😂 I ate so many 7eleven bean and cheese burritos as a teen and broke 20yo. But they really were good and big so .79 cents could be a whole meal.
I deep fry my pot stickers it gives them a nutty, crispy flavor . I make my own gyoza sauce by simmering equal parts soy sauce, mirin sauce and a few tbs of sugar cook until it slightly thickens as it will thicken up as it cools then dip your gyoza it’s delicious . You can freeze any leftover sauce for next time . You can also jazz up canned pinto beans to use in wraps or taco bowls by chopping up about 1/4 of a link of kielbasa, 1/2 a small chopped onion, 1/2 a small tomato, a tbs chopped cilantro, 1 tsp garlic powder and a tsp of knorr tomato boullion powder which I highly recommend you have as a staple item as it adds lots of flavor to otherwise bland foods. Fry them until they are all soft add your canned beans or refried beans and warm up .You can add a few tbs water to soften the beans and they are deliciously seasoned and ready for any recipe it’s a tip that is well worth trying 😊
Thanks for taste testing! They sell a 32 count of these fishsticks at Dollar General for 3.95. I tried them because I had a digital coupon and I didn't care for them. They were edible but mainly gummy mushy inner blandness with a crispy exterior. I'm so glad yours were better! Maybe mine were old (happens at my DG lol) appreciate your opinion!
I really enjoy your channel. I’ve been watching for a couple of months. You do a great job. I would like to see you do more with the air fryer. I also noticed you were showing your belly tattoo. Keep up the great work.

I think since seeing you make it a couple weeks ago I've legit made it like 5-6x lol
The new mic sounds good also thanks for all your work👍
The microphone is a game changer 👍👍 I've not seen the sausage gravy pot pie at ours😮 yum..
Absolutely love their pot stickers!
I e never thought DT food would taste good. Thanks for sharing
I love frozen burritos, literally no one else I know does, but glad to know you do too :).
I never realized that is the way to cook potstickers, thank you! Your mic worked great
I am homeless living out my car, I’d love to see videos of food that doesn’t require any cooking since I don’t have access to refrigerator or microwave or stove
❤❤
A couple months old, but im glad to see the appreciation for the potstickers. Those things were my go-to for a LONG time. Might have to see if they still have them near me lol
I've really enjoyed watching your video because you are very informative, detailed in all aspects of your presentation and actually fun to watch. What I find fun about your presentation is the variety of food, the variety in cooking and silverware, plates and even chopsticks! I also enjoyed your wardrobe, makeup, and style of presentation. Truly one of the best presenters on You Tube. Thanks!
They didn’t appear to be prefried, if they were they were very lightly fried, to me they just looked like a regular frozen burrito out of the package
@@DollarTreeDinners Ah, well then I stand corrected. Again, then you for your honest opinions.
Of course! I think I had a clip where I talked about them not really looking prefried out of the package but I cut it out for the sake of not talking too much haha 😂😂😂
I really like your videos since being on a limited budget I appreciate your review of the products.
Made your sausage and gnocchi from your last video. I was at stop and shop but the ingredients were pretty affordable. Used mild Italian sausage and It was absolutely wonderful!
I love those pot pies. I typically buy mine at the grocery store because my DT usually runs out quick.
I’ve made the pot pies in the microwave often and the bowls have the crisping material that the hot pockets have so they come out great. I’ve had all flavors including the fruit ones and all are yummy!
Thank you for these videos....I'm always sceptical about trying new things ...so I'm glad you do it and give your honest opinion ❤❤❤
Thanks much for this video I hate buying without knowing anything about a product. This helps.
I’m glad it helps! 🥰
Microphone ROCKS and so do you!! Thanks for the review! Went to DT last night and was shocked all those things were there PLUS steak😋 lol. THANK YOU!!!
Sounds great. Love your smile
I think I’ve tried everything & I always appreciate your tips & reviews. I took one bite of a fish stick & I immediately gave them to my husband. They reminded him of his childhood so he ate them all but they weren’t to my liking. I love the potstickers & the chimi & burritos are OK. TFS 💕
They reminded me of childhood too but I think I just grew up eating super cheap fish sticks haha
I am OBSESSED with ur channel!!!!!! Thank you, Thank you for all the help u provide for lower income people or just folks just trying to save $$ on groceries!!! I’ve tried several of ur recipes & all have been awesome!! So, Rock on! 🤘
You are awesome! Thank you for all the hard work you put in on these videos. Thank you
First off your eyes are so beautiful with the softer shadow! ❤ your Dollar Tree carries far more frozen foods than mine! ❤we have two Dollar Tree’s in my area and we could definitely use a better variety of frozen foods! ❤
My son and husband really like the potpie. Today is the last day of your 20.00 $ challenge in our home ,, I had zero complaints I was rather impressed with that and the brain work that goes into the dollar tree challenge and brought out my creative side ,,
Happy cooking
God Bless
It does involve a lot of creative thinking but I’m glad it was successful for you and your family! 🥰
This was so good to see. My brother had recommended the Korean dumplings from Dollar tree which I have yet to try (they're in my freezer.) Now I will be brave😅😅 and try them and look for the pot stickers next time I'm in Dollar tree.
I still eat pot pies since i was little they come in hand,i like eggrolls n burritos, that brand ice cream is good too
I really want your channel to grow, you have the best ideas for ppl who are living on a budget! Go girl!
Love to watch your videos. You mentioned in a video that you went through a major weight loss journey. I was wondering if you could share more about your weight loss journey. Thanks.
I LOVE your channel! You are a doll ❤️
Those fish sticks are really good. I'm 38 and still love fish sticks with macaroni and cheese
Lol, I am 65 and that is still a favorite once in a while treat!
Those pot pies are awesome, they come in sausage and gravy and ham and gravy, both delicious! I also love the burritos and chimichangas.
I grew up eating fish sticks with Macaroni and cheese! I can’t seem to find anything else that suits me quite as much, but is a great comfort meal!
Fish sticks with Mac and cheese is great or tater tots was always a favorite as a kid too
Your channel is great!
Thanks for the tip on making potstickers! I had no idea!
Sausage gravy pot pie!!! Start the car!!! How do you adapt frozen foods to the air fryer? Have you tried the spring rolls? They are amazing!
Some folks microwave it first to thaw it and partially cook it and then air fry it. Or you can just air fry it from thawed, if you don’t have a microwave. I love the spring rolls!
I love your channel!!!! Both very informative and entertaining.... keep em coming plz! Got another sub here!!
Thank you so much for trying these DT frozen items!! I've been wondering how they were.
Sound is really clear good job
Wonder if you could use the frozen mango to make a salsa type deal for fish tacos
Fish sticks in the air fryer are amazing!!
You are adorable mate! Thank you
Just found your page and I love it! great job :) very honest and relatable, and its nice to have some good variety/options when food is getting so expensive
Thanks so much for your reviews. Lets me know what to try and what to avoid. 😊
Love your videos….❤❤❤❤
They are called chimigangas because they come already fried , the tortilla is already prepared to heat. Once you heat it up with no oil or anything it crisps up on its own.
I've used the beef and cheese chimis with Spanish rice and beans on the side, and used salsa con quest over the chimis for a cheap Tex-Mex meal. I don't recommend the D.T. canned cheese sauce. If you save with the chimis spring for a jar of salsa con queso from Walmart the taste is loads better.
Great ideas! Good food!
Glad you liked it!!
Great review will be trying those products thank you.
I just found El Monterey bean & cheese XXL Chimichangas and Burritos at my D/Tree for the first time today, eager to give them a try (they already had the chicken and beef kinds, but I'm not a big meat eater).
Told the clerk about your channel and she's very excited to check it out!
Thank you for your reviews of the DT products.
our dollartree Chinese dinner is the dumplings(fried in sesame oil) And a dash of soy sauce, spring rolls and a few of the microwave trays of teriyaki ramen 😋
If you find them there are icee cups and ice pops that are great. Just like the hospital cups of Italian ice.
Lol, since your video came out more people I know have been buying up the pot stickers. Dollar Tree should sponsor some of your videos!
I love Tina Green chili beef and bean burritos. Thanks for sharing your experience 😊
A nice dipping sauce is equal parts soy sauce, vinegar (rice wine if you have it) & sugar. 1-2 tbs each. Add red pepper flakes if you want spicy.
Hi .. i love the Spring Rolls from Dollar Tree .. and i normally air fry them ( with Chimichangas i just spray with oil and air fry too)
I love the spring rolls! I didn’t think to grab them for this video but I should for my next review! :)
I agree it’s a great deal and I love them so much! I hope they never stop carrying them
Always enjoy your videos. Currently the DT stores in my area have very little to choose from in the frozen food area.
Feel like you might have some new items to ‘fry’ with a hotel iron. 😂 I ate so many 7eleven bean and cheese burritos as a teen and broke 20yo. But they really were good and big so .79 cents could be a whole meal.
I could pretty much live off cheeseburgers and burritos 😂
Fry them until they are all soft add your canned beans or refried beans and warm up .You can add a few tbs water to soften the beans and they are deliciously seasoned and ready for any recipe it’s a tip that is well worth trying 😊
tinas burritos are great one of my favorite frozen burrito brands
Thanks for taste testing! They sell a 32 count of these fishsticks at Dollar General for 3.95. I tried them because I had a digital coupon and I didn't care for them. They were edible but mainly gummy mushy inner blandness with a crispy exterior. I'm so glad yours were better! Maybe mine were old (happens at my DG lol) appreciate your opinion!
I gotta try some of these. Thanx! 👍
i think that the new microphone is better. less ambianet noise.
i'm new to loving your channel but i'm glad that i found it!
I Used To LOVE the banquet sausage and gravy pot pie❣️
I love the Banquet sausage gravy pot pies! Haven't bought them in a while but usually get them at Walmart.
I’ll have to keep those pot pies in mind for quick and cheap breakfasts.
I really enjoy your channel. I’ve been watching for a couple of months. You do a great job. I would like to see you do more with the air fryer. I also noticed you were showing your belly tattoo. Keep up the great work.
I happen to come across this video and I really enjoyed it so I decided to subscribe looking forward to future videos
