What's up with that registry file on your Desktop? You trying to hack computers brah brah? On a more serious note, this is a very helpful video for someone who is considering switching music players. The ability to switch how the UI displayed is probably the biggest selling point for me. At a minimum I'm going to keep MusicBee on the back-burner if I ever go through with me switch.
The only scaling option is text size. Go to Edit Preferences -> Layout (1) -> Default Text. This changes the fontsize for the entire app. You can set the font and size. Theres also an option to change size of scrollbars.
Hi! Just downloaded musicbee and I wanted to ask you something, Do you know how can I play music through my microphone using musicbee?? I tried going into the reproduce options and changing the exit channel to my microphone but if i do that i dont hear the music, I want my friends and I to both hear the music.

Hello, thank you for this, I am totally lost! My iTunes overnight decided there were corrupted files on my computer (?) and MB was recommended as a replacement for iTunes. It did find some of my iTunes files but it is a mess. In just a few days I have been chasing my tail trying to organise but each time I open the app I find most of what I thought i corrected is showing not to be the case. In particular album covers : the last one entered seems to populate every album I taught i had fixed so I am looking at a lot of work to correct. My key question right now is "ARTWORK" what should be "ticked" and what not....I have "embed picture" as my choice but obviously it is not working! Help....and thanks in advance !! L

Hi! Thank you for the video series on this program. I'm currently using iTunes on Windows 10. iTunes has been getting glitchy lately. I also don't like certain things about it. Example: I have a lot of songs by George Michael. But for some reason, iTunes has created 2 artist profiles for him. There'll be some songs from an album in one profile, and the remaining songs from the same album in the other profile. I've this occurrence on several artists and I've not been able to figure out how to merge the 2 profiles. ANYWAY, I don't know if you know the answer to this, but at installation, if I choose to use my iTunes files and album art, does MB copy those files? Or does it move them? If I choose not to use my iTunes files at installation, but instead copy the files over and add them manually, will MB locate and add the album art? I'm a little scared frankly, to try this software because I'm not as tech-savvy as I once was.
You're very welcome. And absolutely. In my Download and Install video, this part th-cam.com/video/UUe0pJTrB8M/w-d-xo.html there is an option to import iTunes tracks AND artwork. If you skip this option, you can still do it by going to Menu -> Library -> Import -> Import from iTunes. Or by simply adding your iTunes music folder to monitored folders from MusicBee Library Preferences. From there, once MusicBee finds your tracks, you can use the auto reorganize feature to move all your music to a new location on your system. Optionally, you can just drag all your music into the player and run the reorganize feature. I would suggest using the itunes import method, though, or at least testing the reorg on a few files, so you don't screw things up. MusicBee is pretty easy, though. I have a video on reorganizing in the playlist.
You are a legend. I have had this app for about 2 years and have been stumbling around with it. Even for an IT guy like me, it can be confusing. This video was so helpful, I just had to give you props for an amazing TH-cam technology tutorial. Seriously, Thank You.

Can you tell me how I can add artwork to my music correctly.I know how to add it but when I do, it uses the same artwork for all my music in my musicbee library. It's super frustrating because I've gone through each song/album and put the correct artwork but they all eventually end up as the same artwork.
To do it manually, select a song or a group of songs, right click and edit track info. Then you drag artwork into the artwork box. Make sure artwork is ticked and save. Any artwork you don't want, remove it from the artwork tab.
Does it manage my music files into folders like Windows Media Player? I mean, if I change a song's album tag, WMP change to a Folder oon Windows File Explorer called like the Album tag

What if I have my Music in D:\MUSIC and Audiobooks in D:\Audiobooks? Csn I add files from both locations? And can I create playlists of my audiobooks? Some of them come from filesharing sites and some come from Audible (converted to m4b).

Don't know if this helps, but sometimes files, particularly newer ones are defaulted to a lower volume to try to balance the overall experience, you can change that by highlighting the song/songs and going to Tools -> Restore Original Volume

I have more than 400,000 audio files and was very disappointed to find that iTunes - which I had been using since 2005 - could not handle it. However, I've found MusicBee to have quite a steep learning curve. Really looking forward to watching and learning from your videos. Liked and Subscribed!
I am still using Media Monkey 4. When I try to use as a server to my smart TV, I only see a percentage of the many, many sub-folders in each large folder. I'm thinking I'll try this.

Delete the MusicBee folder in AppData. Windows + R and type %appdata%. This will open the app data folder. Deleting the MusicBee folder will reset your settings.

You're going to have to play around with ur PC audio settings for that. MusicBee is only going to play with whatever main output is.

Connect the walkman and drag the files into MusicBee. Use the organize feature to move the files into your library.

Yes. Use to use MediaMonkey, MusicBee is better to me. More customizable and completely free.

Yes, you just add those folders to your library in Preferences and MB will find them.

What should I do so that the program remembers the place where I finished listening the last time after opening?
Go to the Settings tab of a song(s), and check "Remeber playback position".
For some reason my midnight metro skin background doesn't look as smooth as yours. There is this sort of vague damascus-like pattern behind mine.

Yes you can play from folder view. Just point to the MusicBee.exe if it's not in the list of programs.
