These are great for a very small number of people. For a lot of people, they're not going to be useful at all. I love mine, but keep this in mind: • If you have small panes of glass, it's terrible because it can't jump from pane to pane. so it just wiggles around in a little square. 1000% easier to just clean it yourself. • If you have a 1-story house, just clean them by hand. This thing isn't going to make your life any easier. • They require a LOT of babysitting!! Cleaning a window only takes a few minutes, and it's not like a robotic you can just set off when you leave the house and come back any time. When it finishes, it still sucking itself to the window and needs to be taken down. So you set it up, wait 5 minutes, then have to take it down and reposition it on the next window. It's a lot of work. On the other hand, it's GREAT is you have large windows on a 2- or 3-story house that you can access from indoors! We have sliding windows with screens. I slide it open, pop off the screen, and send it to town. That's about the only use case where this is a great product. If you use it to clean 2nd story windows but need to access them from outside on a ladder, DON'T. Super dangerous to lug this thing and it's power cord up there, and you should still tie it off somewhere above where it's cleaning. Total pain and dangerous.
Thank you for this video! I was wondering, if the W2 Omni would clean windows better or have any other advantages. Since we have a lot of really large windows the W1 Pro seems to bee the better choice since the W2 Omni would probably need recharging before the job is finished (thanks for pointing out that the W2 Omni won't work as long as it is plugged in).
I’ve got Winbot W2 Omni… and it actually leaves a lot of smuges behind… i don’t understand how u not say anything about that, i tested it with pure water, 3 diffrent windows cleaners, even with vinegar… and it just smuges all over the window. For that price… its a joke :/… I dont know, maybe you have a different type of glass in US :/
after 7 months and additional testing… nothing’s changed. A lot of smuges, no matter what kind of water or cleaner i used, there is no difference, new pads, filtred water etc -.-
There is official Winbot recommended Cleaning solution. The liter is not cheap, but it lasts forever (you only need a few drops per fill). It gives it much better cleaning power and almost no stripes. Also use filtered water to avoid chalk residues, etc (but not distilled, that is forbidden).
I doubt either one would be good. A smooth glass table doesn't have edges to stop the robot, and tile has grout lines that will prevent a vacuum seal from sticking.
That means when the battery is used and getting older it wil be less and less performent without the possibility to plug it directly, or you have to buy a new battery... No way for me!

What happens to the base if it cant suck to the floor (e.g. outside)? Shouldnt the weight itself make any fall safe?

With everything you tested, was it slightly better with cleaner or something particular?
Actually useful comment.. you saved me a wad of cash thanks

@@orishas555 yeah that's a high price to pay to find out it's useless ... sorry to hear about your experience but thanks for sharing
Hi, can I use clean water instead of expensive ecovacs chemicals? Great comparison. Thx
If I rememeber correctly, they don't recommend chemical at all in the Winbot. So I don't know if thats something new or what. USE ONLY WATER!

Can they be used for cleaning tables and bathroom tiles?

Ok so I guess I can't clean my veranda's roof with this since it won't suck the leaves and mold...

Lookin at your posture , it would not hurt if you cleaned the windows yourself. And no snacks ..
