    Neenah Dark Transfer Paper is the best it's way thicker and prints amazing compared to those two brands you displayed. They sell them at World-paper. It's literally the only brand I use, when used with a heat press it last years. I have had customers tell me 10 years later they still have the shirts I've done and the designs are intact no cracking or peeling. Hope that helps anyone else.

    • @afuaboadu5100
      @afuaboadu5100 ปีที่แล้ว

      You would need to remove/delete the background color in either Photoshop or any vector based software like Photoshop and then save the design/image as a png file before you print it. Hope this helps!

    8.5 means 8 1/2 x 11, not 8 by 5... It's only because I do a lot of sewing/quilting, so that's what that means... You do explain your videos very well, and I'm learning a lot from them. Your bows are beautiful by the way! Sorry for being a Karen, but I just thought I would let you know about the sheet size...

    Why use the transfer for dark paper if the faux leather is white?

    • @CherelleDanae
      @CherelleDanae  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I personally tried the light transfer paper since it’s translucent and it did not work the same as the dark. It would not stick to the faux leather

    Hi, can I press a design on any color faux leather?

    • @CherelleDanae
      @CherelleDanae  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Technically yes since the htv has a white background. So since it has a white background you will not be able to actually see the color of the faux leather if that’s what you want

  • @midgetsmommy
    @midgetsmommy ปีที่แล้ว

    That's not butcher paper, it's parchment paper.
    Just to be clear to those watching. You are not sublimating the faux leather, but putting (adhearing) transfers on the faux leather to customize the faux leather.

    • @midgetsmommy
      @midgetsmommy ปีที่แล้ว

      PS, you don't even need 395 degrees, Just the temp you use for the transfer paper. Even though you are using sublimation ink that usually takes the higher temps to sublimate. You really aren't doing a sublimation project. The ink automatically absorbs the ink, but just enough heat to brighten the sub ink. (usually the sublimation process requires the high temperature to make the ink a gas and to open the surface of a polyester product to receive it.

    • @CherelleDanae
      @CherelleDanae  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The video states it was parchment paper and there is no sublimation being used in this video. A regular printer was used with normal ink and the temperature was 295 which was stated in the video as well, not 395. Not sure where you got any of that information from.
