Across recorded history, cycles of rise and fall, both of civilizations themselves and of what they use for money, repeat time and again. We are experiencing another fall now and it is horrifying to observe.
However, for the first time in humanity’s existence, something unprecedented arrives - a money that is incorruptible, indestructible, and infallible: “un-fall-able”. It is money that can support on its shoulders a civilization that will also be un-fall-able.
With the prospect of preserving capital and being able to reinvest it productively forever, new possibilities can be imagined and their potential made into reality over multiple generations.
That is what this film aims to impress upon its viewers: That Bitcoin can break the cycles of fallings and replace them with an everlasting, productive peace.

The best (and scariest) line in this film was “Once they [governments] start to drink from this chalice of easy money, governments and those who benefit cannot stop themselves from gorging upon it. They help themselves to hundreds of billions of dollars of unearned wealth. It is a looting that far exceeds any that came before it.”
We were always optimistic on a future with bitcoin changing the world for the better. After watching this, our hope and optimism for the future went up 10 fold. Bitcoin is rational optimism. From all of us here in the Tahinis family, Thank you for creating this.

I would love to see an extended version of this that gets into the ways in which sound money facilitates the utopian world this describes. A high budget version with futuristic tech on mars would also be awesome.
Absolutely! More details on the Bitcoin vision and all that entails. But, please, let’s solve the climate crisis before focusing attention on colonizing Mars. Mars is not conducive to habitable existence.

Great quality. Would love to see an expanded version connecting the dots for those unfamiliar with why Bitcoin is a key component to that kind of future. Thinking and behavior incentivized by a hard, deflationary currency changes everything. No more need for high-time preference need for never ending growth like fiat currencies promote.

I have a few Bitcoin myself, and love Bitcoin, but I don't understand why Bitcoin guarantees this kind of future. I can tell you that I hate the banks and and happy that they'll never gets another penny of my money.
@@yuridicarlo look up Michael sailor. He is very good at expanding on Bitcoin and the benefits. Also Andreas Antonopoulos is what we call the crypto/Bitcoin godfather who also extrapolates on this very well. Simply put, spend lots of time on TH-cam watching Bitcoin videos. You will learn who to trust over time on the subject but starting with these two is the best starting point in my opinion. It’s a big rabbit hole but very worth it. It’s easier to keep learn if you start by buying some Bitcoin. Like the old saying about having skin in the game it gives you incentive to keep going.

Very optimistic. Theres this saying that sums up my thoughts on utopian worlds. Hard times create strong men, strong men create good times, good times create weak men, weak men create hard times. I think humanity will always strive to achieve a utopia, but I don't know if it is possible.

Agreed. It is a well designed tool and the freedom and autonomy implicit in its use may make it ideal for individuals who are changing their consciousness and awareness of the world. But only a radical change in individual consciousness will change the world. Nonetheless, responsible human freedom is sustainable; any dystopia or tyrannis (as history proves) can only crumble.
This has to happen, no matter what. Finally no one is incentivized to war, but to discuss openly their worldviews until only the truth remains.

Interesting and inspiring. But I am not able to connect the dots between bitcoin and human prosperity. I understand Defi, but in the end who will own Bitcoin will have the most wealth. El Salvador is a good example of what this movie is depicting but not sure how bitcoin will solve the divide between rich and poor. Inspirational nonetheless.

As much as I'm a supporter of Bitcoin and a firm believer of the historic and economic analysis proposed, I'm afraid the future will not be so bright and joyful, at least not as early as 2048.
Governments and tyrants will not give up so easily; before getting to this heaven described there will be decades of suffering, turmoil, setbacks, despite of Bitcoin's undisputed qualities.
It will take at least a century to recover from the disaster that is looming upon us, the next 20/30 years will be catastrophic. What in this video is envisioned for 2048 will happen in 2109, if we're lucky and strong.

Monetary debasement destroys wealth and retards economic growth..the future isn’t what it could be under a fiat system of money. The Bitcoin network is a solution, our future now has no bounds.
