Hi, Network rail and departmental and engineers yellow liveries are superb, they have to be the most iconic liveries I’ve seen in the modern era’s, I hope Accurascale produce another network rail yellow livery class 37 in their third run because it will have a motorised roof fan fitted, I’m sure the British model railway manufacturers must be blind if they can’t see how popular those liveries are to modellers, the H0 models in the similar yellow liveries are plentiful but slightly off scale, the cranes and Tamper vehicles are absolutely stunning along with the digital cranes. The RTC livery is ignored as well in my opinion and I don’t know why they don’t produce items like they could, they will sell and that’s a fact. Your collection is amazing and you should be very proud, there is a company called Britannia Pacific who produce unique models that look amazing but they are at the top end price bracket of British model railways, they do look amazing and have amazing detailing, Accurascale could easily do a similar job with a better price structure but they seem to be focused elsewhere in my opinion, magnetic wands used to control lighting isn’t my cup of tea just like battery operated lighting is not good value for money and a cost and corner cutting exercise, I’m building my collection slowly but surely at the moment and I won’t pay silly money to greedy sellers even if the items they have are rare, many thanks for sharing.

Agree on the lighting and I love the departmental oo and ho as you can see. Did you pre-order that Rails set of RTC coming out? I hadn't heard of Britannia Pacific, so I'll look them up. Now I have a few cheaper kits to build!

@@modelrailwaynoob Hi, do you mean the RTC BEMU set for £270? It is an old tooling with a 3 pole motor and I believe there is an 8pin dcc socket onboard and it’s 2011 tooling, I’d rather spend the same money on the Bachmann/Kernow 4 car rtc set that won an award back in 2017, I believe you have that 4 coach set in your vast collection, Bachmann are taking a leaf out of Hornby’s book with the old tooling and no upgrades, if they had fitted a 21pin socket and 5 pole motor it show that they care but to leave the 13/14 year old tooling as it was is shocking just like what they did with the class 70, if their going down that route then I will show elsewhere because that kind of behaviour shows contempt for end of line customers, I’m not sure how much it cost for that model back in 2011 but I’m sure that a body colour change should command that kind of price, like I stated I’m not going to pay big money for items like that, it should be sound fitted for that money, old tooling for 2025 pricing is terrible marketing by Bachmann because they are trying to take advantage out of collectors yet again.

@@StormmyStormmy I know what you mean. I have the Derby Lightweight and was tempted to spray the side panels and print my own transfers. It is a nice model though.

@@StormmyStormmy Just had a look and I found compatible paint and transfers so I am going to rework my own model
