So, the father reported the situation at her mother's house, and the solution from the system was to completely strip them from both parents. Why was the father not given temporary custody?

@@lesliebouchard6496It’s not about right or wrong, it’s that there is no life without troubles, bad experiences is a part of it and what shapes us. What I mean is that she would not necessary be a happier person without child abuse, there are lot of people who started with a “ good life “ who turned wrong later, sheltering children against every problems is not the best attitude either. If you put things in perpective compared to the molestation, the fact she survived the car accident is truly a miracle.

In July of 2021 I had a huge seizure which lead to what she’s went through (a 4 day coma and death). Words cannot describe how much of a life changing experience that is and honestly, as much as near death experiences suck, they’ve saved more than one life bc they make you realize how valuable your life is.

JessieMay, thank you so much for telling your story. Believe it or not, you and I share some commonality when it comes to abuse in the home. Alcoholism was another thing that plagued my home when I was growing up as well; so, yes, you and I share some things and we have a story to tell so that others can be healed and come to the realization that they can get through and overcome. All things are possible with GOD (Matthew 19:26 KJV)!! GOD Bless you my beautiful Canadian friend!!

This is one of the better ways I've seen Christians try to comment about God. Usually I see people bringing him up when it isn't even relevant and just posting bible quotes and I only see it pushing people away that maybe would've been open to him if they didn't feel like it was being shoved down their throats

Jessie, all this kind of sectrme tress often affects our thyroid.
Please consider getting afull panel bloodwork for thyroid.
An Endocrinologist or naturopath does that kind.
It makes a huge difference in aging and so many different systems in the body.
Thank you for sharing and many blessings to you.

This video is from Canada. But in the US the goal of foster care is also to get the kids placed back with family of some sort. But the family has to both volunteer to do so and pass certain criteria.
I think what's complicated in the US is each state has their own foster care laws/system and transferring to family out of state is complicated. Kids tend to be placed in foster homes while this process takes place.

Who was charged? I thought he was a kid at the time too? If he was a child how can he be guilty of a crime? Kids explore sex from the age of nine onward. That is the nature of humans and doesnt make him an abuser.
