Great interview with a NY legend. I partied alot atv Jimmy's in the late 90s. I was involved in a huge brawl in the front entrance that led all the way down to the parking lot. Jimmy probably saved my life by coming out and shouting for everyone to stop. He was BSing. We all stopped, walked away bruised, got in cars & went home with a story to tell🙏🏽
I was 15 years old we lived on 175 Webster jimmys was right on the corner before getting on the cross bronx the traffic & crowd made me who i’am today dope interview.
Great interview, I had the pleasure of meeting Jimmy at Jimmy’s Bronx Cafe in 2003. He is an exceptional individual whom I have always admired for his achievements. I regard him as a remarkable mentor who has navigated life's challenges and consistently emerged successful. His ingenuity is truly impressive, and I wish him continued longevity and prosperity.
I used to work for Jimmy, @ Jimmy Bronx cafe … with chef Joe .. it was the best experience of my life … it felt like working with family!! He was a great boss
Great podcast, Jimmy has a lot of history and experience to learn from. He paid his "membership fees" learning all that knowledge and managed to continue to be resilient. Had the pleaaure to run into him multiple times in the Bx and he always found away to share knowledge. Can't wait for part 2 definitely a Living Legend. definetly smashing the like and follow
I’ve met Jimmy 4 or 5 times. And each time he made me feel like I was his boy. He has a magical appeal and he’s one of the realest. Keep winning Jimmy! 💪🏼
Sean & Jimmy , Absolutely amazing topic conversations at every level. Great to hear both of your journey's from our NYC & successes in life also businesses ventures. Much Successes 2025. Can't wait for part (2). And more.🤝🏽
From selling lobster on the street to owning the Bronx, that’s some next-level hustle. If I had half the drive Jimmy has, I’d be running a restaurant from my living room by now 😂. Thanks for bringing this episode! This podcast is a gem! 💪
I'm fortunate to grow up in The Bronx (Born & Raised). I literally remember seeing Jimmy under The CrossBronx overpass at Webster, then at the side of the Marisco de Rey building, then into the building, and on to Jimmy's Bronx Cafe, Jimmy's in Harlem, Astoria, City Island, New Rochelle ... etc, etc, etc. When I was on Active Duty in The Marines, Jimmy always welcomed me and my fellow Marines at every one of his establishments. He is a class act when it comes to customer service and appreciation. SOMEONE NEEDS TO MAKE A MOVIE 🎬 About Jimmy. It would be a hit like Marc Anthony's "El Cantante" or "Carlito's Way." #ProveMeWrong 🇵🇷
My lil cousin got a job@Jimmy Bx cafe when he was a teenager he was bussing tables then became a drug dealer, got locked up 3 times did a skid bid.then got killed in deal gone bad in Washington heights.Thanx Jimmy!

Went to Jimmy's Cafe as a 5th grade graduation dinner with family loved it... As for when Jimmy stated about Caban he hit it right on the money no one came out but there was tons of takers when people needed him. But God has his back. Jimmy Thanks you. Love this interview
