i know right, i feel like dark jak was totally under-utilised in jak 2, it should’ve been used more even in story missions jak should’ve been forced to use it in scripted segments more often
Wouldve been a cool addition in the final battle with Kor if you it was a special battle instead of just shooting him. To see Dark Jak go full beast on him like he was created to do.
I hated that I couldn't find more use for dark jak in my recent playthrough. I kept wanting to unleash him but the mobs are small so often that there wasn't often much point. I love playing as him though.

Ah yes. I do play as Dark Jak (Jak’s alter ego). I already unlocked the dark bomb ability for Dark Jak. Maybe someday, I’ll play more Jak II on my PS2. :)

@@speedy4574 yeah so I played all versions even the psvita and in my opinion the ps3 hd collection is the best, the ps4 is just broken, frame rates go so low and it’s emulating the ps2 version, the ps3 version is a actual remaster and it looks and plays better. Some people say that the music stops and their is input delay on the ps3 but the music has also stopped on me on the PS4 version and the input delay is not that bad honestly. Don’t bother getting the psvita version that is even worst it’s so bad that the PS4 makes it look like the best version. Hopes my experiences with these versions help you

frankly, that is how it should have ended in Jak II. a climatic battle between giant dark jak and the metal head leader.

True, I like showing different things you can you do that you couldn't do in the normal mode with out dark jak. I can get carried away a bit
