OK I figured out why you have some different menu options than me - you have the Apple Intelligence software on yours that is beta only (like erasing a part of an image. My menu does not have the option to swipe instead of light press the camera button nor does it have the copy edits option on the 3 dots on the upper right. FYI the currently released version of the software available to the general public is not what you are demoing right now on 18.0.1 -- although it is a cool glimpse into what is to come.

Hi there. I discovered that you can only get the erase tool on iOS 18.1. The only other way that you can get the Cleanup tool is to use the beta version. That’s the only thing that I wish you would’ve listed in the tutorial because I was confused why I didn’t have it. I have the iPhone 16 Pro Max running iOS 18 and my cleanup tool is not there.
if you could put out a video on how to force the camera to use 48mp it would be great... I have tried every setting and sometimes it takes the 48mp pic but most of the time its all over the place... 9mp...12mp... 24mp.... ect ect... drives ya crazy when you think your shooting 48mp and the pic is actually 9mp...
I Just want to preserve my Tone setting so it is always minus 0.5 so which setting do i need to preserve? I don't understand if it is just photographic style or some of the other ones
No matter what setting I set in the camera app and despite following your settings, the maximum resolution I see in the ‘information” after taking a photo is 36mp. The only time I’m able to see 48mp is when I use the MOMENT app.
Zdenka what is the actual size of the RAW. Is quad pixel sensor so is iphone computing them extra pixels? If is quad pixel the actual output is 12 megapixels and not 48

I enjoyed this video even though I own s24 ultra but I've had interest what is different between samsung and Apple for high quality video that you want pro style. I've seen iPhone footage 8n video and looks impressive and samsung is getting better. I know there are second hand iphones out there that are still great and wonder which one is still best from a few years ago? I like when youtubers say possitive things about iphones and samsung phones because they have their strengths. I've got Hauwei P50pro and i and those daul cameras make it so stylish and doing star trails with light painting is superb fun and rewarding too. Keep up the great videos on iPhone and samsung phones!

Thanks for the video! I am returning the 16 pro because I am very frustrated with the camera! I had many iPhones - the last was the 13 pro! The photo is not sharp enough. This is evident with photos with text. The middle is focused but on the sides are very very terrible! Not focused, with shadow on letters. Nobody talks about this. Anyone else? Regards
why do i not see the same photo editing settings as you? I didn’t see where I can adjust the tone (after the photo is taken) or that clean up button. All I see is the regular settings: adjust, filters and crop.
@ Thanks for responding. I found the issue. My initial setting was not set to “High Efficiency”. I am interested to understand how to extract/use depth maps that are available from the iphone now. This has been possible since earlier versions, but newer Photoshop versions are making that process available in less convoluted ways.
The phone camera crashes frequently and doesn’t work properly. So far 2 iPhone 16 pro within a month has the same issues even after software upgrades and troubleshooting! Shockingly disappointing!
My iphone 16 pro is not allowing me to use these features as my mobile getting heated with in seconds after opening camera app. Serius issue after spending this much money. Dont know wht to do.

In terms of video, should I turn on hdr or off? I don’t edit my videos and use normal video with 1x lens and post to instagram.
You should be OK with HDR. If you find that you don’t like that look, you can try to turn it off, but it’s really personal preference.

My 16 pro max doesn't have the HEIF option, instead it says JPEG Max (up to 48 MP). Is that the same as HEIF?
It is the older version of compressed file… you can use that as well

Well, always the newest model is the best one if you ask me… the button is not an issue for me. You just have to get used to it.
