Let's be Honest Official through out my life I've noticed that those living in the most dangerous or poorest places in the world tend to be chill, happy and just grateful about life. Probably a natural selected attitude, can't survive in a dangerous place if you're always pissed and inside your head.
Honestly, Australia isn't even that dangerous. I'd be more scared in an American forest than an Australian one, sure we have a fair few spiders and snakes and what not, but it isn't as everyone seems. Other countries make us out to just be bogans surviving hell on earth

Yeah take the safe route... you wouldn't want to do something dangerous like riding in a dinghy at high speeds between obstacles only metres away from you where the wrong action could see you being flung like a rag doll from the boat into those trees and the water potentially breaking your neck and other stuff.... stick to the norm and have that parma :D

It's interesting to read this, because when I was in Scotland I felt as though you Scots were very similar to we Aussies in so many ways. The only real difference is the accent and the climate, haha.
Scotland is also the only place I've been to outside of Australia where I felt I could happily live and not just holiday.
