sombra main here, no shes def nerfed... but nerfs aside, whats really worse is that she feels CLUNKY ASF to play as, even perm invis was surprisingly FAR LESS clunky then her current rework, they executed her big time. shes back to being a throw pick just for the clunky-ness alone, specifically her translocator/invis nerfs
Ngl, I do feel like this rework can somewhat work, if they remove the voice line after decloaking, give her either increased speed or Perma sprint, and possibly a 25 health boost. As right now, she feels like a crippled 76 with a severe lack of disengage method unless you waste time and wait for the increased translocator cool down.
I’d rather play against a sombra over a widow any day. You can not react to widow hs but you can easily react to sombra coming out of stealth. One of these heroes actually has counterplay
You can hear her loud cheeks I mean heels from a mile sway. She is only a problem on three specific maps and a couple of spots on other maps. So the issue is map based and not widow based
Only one of these heroes has counter play, yeah widow has so much counter play: any one with mobility who can get up there, dive heroes, and she gets soft countered by area denial/shields
They should give Widow a 10 second cooldown on HS where she has to be smg only. That will balance things out so that she can "interact" with the enemy players. Right? That's what we want when we pick a hero, so that the enemy team "interacts" with you more. Blizzard, I don't even.
It doesn't make sense to say "Sombra is buffed, actually" while also saying "you jusy can't rely on a crutch". If a crutch was boosting people, its inherently stronger lol
Not necessarily. Old Sombra had a lower skill floor, the new one a higher skill floor. The old one had a middling skill ceiling, there were some cool thing you could do but nothing insane. New Sombra could( not sure yet) have a higher skill ceiling. This all depends on your level of play, to a bronze player (30% of all ow players) this is a nerf no question. The 10% of high level players may actually get more milage now, but that's still to be determined.
@drjamaymay405 The old Sombra passive had a low skill floor, but it was mainly used for collecting information and to sought out solos. But her dmg was really bad and they nerfed the virus overall dmg, so you needed skills to get a kill. She would get out beaten by damn near every hero. The new Sombra skill level is much higher, but the playstyle has a lower skill floor (imo). The fact she does more dmg, she can actually kill someone. Im a sombra main in diamond-master lobbies, and her play style is easier in a sense. Getting to widow's is a bitch though!
@@drjamaymay405 bronze isn't 30%. People have played with her, she's kinda bad at what she's designed to do. If you play her like cass, you can get value. There's a reason people are celebrating her being dead. If she was better, people would be upset. Now maybe people will come up with niche strat, but that's like say Junkrat is OP because flankrat was decent for a while.
@10:52 People I know personally, chose to de rank PRIOR to the drive weekend, so that when the drives started they were smurfing it a low ELO and winning every game. I wrote this because you asked “why would u de rank tho”
I just played my smurf. No sense playing on my main due to all the deranking going on. It was funny too cause I was seeing the people I play with in masters down in gold and silver games. Such a joke.
10:25 Hot take: The comp drive DID encourage you to throw games. The drive rewarded you specifically for going on a winning streak, so that you could get to the next checkpoint. If you win-lose-win-lose-repeat, you went nowhere with your points, and it was incredibly frustrating. The best strategy was to throw a bunch of games, lower your ELO, and then go on a big win streak to reach the next checkpoint. (btw, they changed it halfway so wins and losses were equally weighted in drive points, this only made the win-loss-win-loss problem even worse).
I actually had the same thought during the drive that some people might throw beforehand or during so that they can get easier streaks for the longer stretches.
i got really lucky with a winstreak good enough to move me up a metal rank to plat i then went back to gold once the drive stopped and the good players went back to QP and couldnt carry me anymore
@@FantasmaNaranjaa friend of mine was in bronze for support (imo he should be gold), went on a massive win streak, got the final name tag day 1. I slogged through so many games, only got the second name tag by the end of day 3. Burned me out so bad I haven’t touched comp since
@@drill_3001 Yeah, coming back to comp after not playing for a while, mixed with some good luck, made finishing the drive pretty quick for me. I last played comp in S9 and was M5, but finished my placements in D3 (went 5W - 5L, still trying to win as much as possible). It meant that with the calibration I finished the drive by just winning 8 games in a row after placements, and haven't played comp since. Good for my teammates, but maybe not so much for all the players on the enemy teams I guess.
Sombra main here. If Sombra is going to be worse as a flanker and have to play like Sombra 76, why are we moving even further away from her identity as a utility-DPS? I never wanted her to become a permanently invisible assassin but now she has no identity outside of EMP and a clunky invisibility.
They are slowly nerfing all the non-traditional FPS heros, in favor of the call of duty type heros like widow sojourn, mcree and ashe. I suspect it's due to the poaching of CoD devs after the layoffs. It's kinda why OW doesn't feel special anymore.
Crazy how when the devs say they’re moving the game towards other fps gameplay, and they make the game 5v5, remove cc (only on heroes that actually need it) and push a bunch of reworks on lower play rate heroes nobody bats an eye. But then it’s YOUR hero getting a shit rework and all of a sudden we don’t know why the devs are going this route. Not trying to be toxic but like they’ve been doing this since ow2 launched. It’s not new.
Hot take: the community is too scared of cc and not scared enough of damage creep. Make a huge cut to damage output and being slowed will be more of an engagement and less of a death sentence. Would bring more variety to the game.
Its not a net buff, but shes not as gutted as initially thought, shes just Sombra 76 now. The sombras that liked shooting and frontlining a bit are still kinda eating out here
@@MasterMemo im a sombra main, and I only Frontline when the enemy had a doom or ball. If they don't have a widow, I'd just peel for the support or if they have a sombra. Enemy sombra's love playing the flanking assassin game, so I would literally wait until they decloak to hack her, and she dies instantly. NOW, she stays on the frontline, which is NOT what she is supposed to be. She's supposed to distract and disrupt the backline. Can't do that anymore, so her character has been gutted.
They destroyed her kit and didn't replace it with anything useful. She can't flank like she used to, hack is so short it doesn't counter anything anymore. But she still can't play like a normal dps either.
Hot take: A good way of encouraging good gameplay from players, as well as helping fix the monetisation issues, add overwatch coin gain per endorsement received, like 10 coins per endorsement, or make it so that getting endorsed 20 times or so in a day fulfils a daily quest which nets like 10 - 25 coins. It may seem like a small amount, but it adds up pretty quickly, and it rewards good sportsmanship from players. Edit: Moreso a suggestion than a take
In OW1 endorsement level would give loot boxes. They deliberately removed that and other ways to get nearly everything for free. They don't want to "improve monetization" they want to improve their stock price. That's literally the prime directive.
Endorsements are probably the sh**test form of ensuring good behavior. I cannot count how many times I've seen the nastiest, most toxic behavior from Level 4s and 5s. Probably the best behaved people have been the ones that keep their heads down and just play the game instead of farming endorsements (aka lvl 2s). I'm a Level 4 on the regular and I think this is probably one of the hottest, most misguided takes/suggestions.
Honestly I quite like that. Even if people fake being nice for coins, they're still being nice instead of toxic. And as someone who gets endorsed a lot, I'd love having a tangible reward for it lol.
Hot Take: The OW community will never be satisfied because no matter the changes that are made everyone will argue and complain, if the community can't even agree on something how is Blizzard supposed to get something out of all the dozens of either toxic or undecided opinions? like some wanted Sombra to be changed and some wanted her to stay the same but once they change her people immediately jump to her being bad when she isn't, when Juno came out people said (Especially content creators) that she was bad so she was buffed now shes nerfed because Juno was never bad. It's like the community wants something but are never happy with anything they get its constant complaining. Also the opinions between ranks and QP players makes it more of a mess to properly balance the characters and maps.
Tho I agree they won't all be happy but what is annoying is the fact that if a lot of people complain about one thing then its needs a change regardless whether it's liked or not I think this is what people forget. Tho bizarrer are definitely lazy
I 100% agree. People are too different and have different play styles and different ideas of what good balance is. I honestly wish Blizzard would stop listening to the community and only go by stats like Valorant or Apex. Those games do not listen to the community at all and have way better player reception than ow because ow keeps trying to bend over backwards for the player base and they just get hate no matter what they do. The Juno thing pissed me off so much the second she came out I thought she was perfect. Took skill and was not broken at all. Then people complained. So she got a buff. But people kept complaining. So she got another buff. Then they complained some more still saying she was weak. Until they broke her and then she was needed in a match or your team was at a disadvantage. Then they started crying that she was too broken so they took all her range. It’s just so annoying. Players just overreact to everything instead of giving things a chance and waiting til they get better at something before asking for buffs. The same thing with mauga. He came out and he was fine, but he wasn’t broken so people asked for buffs and then they broke him then people were crying he was too broken and again… he’s a b tier tank now. If only they had just given him a chance when he came out they wouldn’t have to break him. With tanks in general. When ow2 came out tanks were fine, minus a few exceptions which just needed a few adjustments but then CCs (especially flats) kept whining about tanks being super weak and unplayable and torturous and now were stuck with a gigachad on each team cause people couldn’t just stop crying. I just hate this community. I play multiple competitive games and there’s not a single player base that’s as unreasonable as the ow community is and I really feel that if they just balanced around stats and not the players ever changing bipolar disorder driven opinions we would have a much better balancing because stats don’t lie and they’re not driven by chemical imbalances like most ow players are…
@@SocialExperiment232 Overwatch players are to entitled and toxic, not all of them are of course but people actually got mad because some wanted the sombra nerf, now Widow is a thing and their first thought is we need broken and unfun Sombra to counter unfun Widow. They don't know what they want they just want to complain because they can. Creators like Karq don't want to understand from someone elses position, he just says get good and deal with it when its not even about skill its about a broken and unfun character the toxic community uses to ruin the game.
@@burtonthegrape9217 bro, for real! It isn’t even about skill to me, cause even when sombra is weak ah she is still annoying and every singe kill she does get feels unearned. The people that like to pretend an invisible character who could just chill in the back until you have no choice but to do something else so they can land a hack, virus, one clip combo from the back isnt inherently a problem are just pretentious and love to brag about how easy everything is and how skilled and perfect they are. She’s always gonna have an opportunity to catch you unaware if she just waits around. You can’t just spend the whole game with your back turned so you can catch the sombra. At some point you will have to do something else and she will be able to pick you through means of an unfair duel. The fact that people now wanna pretend that they have no idea why sombra was nerfed and they always loved that she could deal with widow is some schizophrenic shit. How can people pretend that she hasn’t been one of if not the most hated character in this game consistently in all elos? Seriously the devs effed up when they decided they are gonna pander to their players cause they harvested a bunch of whiny, unstable, crybabies that are trying to fill the void their missing father left with balance changes and will never be satisfied. Watch, they’re gonna beg for sombra buff after sombra buff, claiming each time that she’s still too weak, until she becomes an absolute monster again and then they’ll be like “how could blizzard do this?! Why would they buff sombra? We all hate her and have never once asked for any buffs!” And they’re gonna beg for widow nerfs until they kill her then ask for her to be buffed until no one can play against her and it will just never end. They have to learn to just get over themselves and play the darn video game without expecting everything to be super convenient at all times.
U almost hit the nail in the head. U gotta remember these content creators don't always care about bettering the game. They want clicks, so they exaggerate their points. It's cool to hate on overwatch nowadays so their audience will naturally resonate with it. It's gives them a "oh noo, what has the big bad blizzard done now" moment.
10:23 It absolutely did encourage throwing and deranking, especially if you had to do placements. Since placements didn’t count towards the drive there is literally no reason to win those games, it’ll just make the wins that actually count toward the drive harder.
10:48 this guy was actually on to something though, he just didn’t explain it correctly. When drives came out I was diamond on tank and dps but low plat on support since I don’t play it much. To complete the drive faster, I just qd support and went on a winning streak because I was playing against people that weren’t equal to my skill level. Since most people are stuck in the rank they’re meant to be in, you’re games are always 50/50 so you keep gaining and losing drive points, resulting in it taking forever to max out the drive. This combined with the fact that it was only out for a couple days is the reason people weren’t able to complete it or even participate.
The comp drive Smurf thing is true. I couldn’t get the streak on support and dps where I had climbed but I hadn’t climbed on tank yet so I finished almost perfectly on tank at a lower rank. And now I’ll just always leave one role at a lower rank for that purpose.
Hot take!!!!!!!! We need AT least 5 new maps in each ranked game before we get another game mode and if we do get a new rank game it must have at least 3 different maps at the start
Sombra can really put in some damage number, just now feels like you almost have to play to perfection to get real value from her Transolcator/Invis button. If I TP wrong I cant position right, if I hack to early I wont be able to get out and it becomes a forced trade. I just want them to remove virus and give invis its own button. Dont have to change anything else for now.
I put high dmg numbers in but low Elims now. Sombra is a shittier Soldier and just shoots pebbles from a distance that is easily outhealed. They should change the cooldown to have a max when out of invis. Throwing tp to go for a kill and have to wait 6 seconds in the front-/backline is mad. I liked the fast pace she used to have.
@blochilicious If you're capable of putting out high damage numbers then the reason you arent getting Elims are you. With opportunist back, Ive literally bullied on Hogs and Maugas who sre getting heal pumped. Pick your targets right and time your hacks.
Hot take: ppl bend the term "hero identity" to fit their narrative. Kiri is the most agile character in the game, but balance her damage and shes "lost ber identity". Ramm has 2 completely different forms, but 1 small alter to 1 attack and "hes lost his identity".
@@matheus_brunelli id say thats pretty arguable. She still goes invis, she still hacks. In fact, she seems like shes 1 translocator change away from being ow1 sombra. Dont get me wrong, i dont like the changes, but the elements are still there.
@adamkrasneski3679 What I'm saying is not that the abilities aren't there. It more that they don't create a gameplay loop that has Sombra's identity. She doesn't play like a steathy assassin or a flanker or a disruptor hacker that has information on the enemy. She is now just a regular dps frontliner that has to stay with the team and attack the enemy tank. That is not her hero fantasy or identity
Hot take: The Sombra rework is pushing the game in a healthy direction. OW2 has much softer countering/MU knowledge reliance than OW1. You are forced to swap significantly less now than ever before, but this has come at the cost of homogenization of the cast. Translocator/virus Sombra could fit so many roles simultaneously. She could join the dive, play sombra 76 anti-dive, and she could be a perma-backline assassin all within the same match. She was so flexible, players didn't even feel the need to utilize strong parts of her kit anymore (Many sombra mains advised against hacking healthpacks/squishies since virus allowed you to kill without giving a warning to your target anyway). This new rework has slightly buffed the gameplay loop of a more passive, utility based anti-dive dps. This is a small buff in very specific, niche matchups that has made Sombra a team based carry. I may not agree with *this* particular direction for the character, but I do believe it's healthy for the game to embrace niche design. Some heroes should be niche, and this rework may even result in other flankers such as Venture finally gaining relevance on their own instead of just being a perpetually weaker flank option. Sometimes we should have to swap and that's okay, is this not Overwatch design philosophy at its core?
Hot take: Hero’s like hog, widow, genji that or boom or bust shouldn’t be labeled as bad/good since it all depends on if the player is good at them they should have a different tier maybe called player skill dependent
I've only seen 2 Sombras (in about 20 games) since the rework and they dominated the server like a puppet master. One was for my team, but the other one killed me with impunity along with the other DPS on my team. Not just damage, but double the next closest elim total. None of my usual tricks to avoid getting abused by a Sombra worked. So there's a way.
She is not weaker in a literal sense, she just suck to play. Sombra76 was allways a possible playstyle, and it works better then it has any right to do. It really shows just how little value flanking usually has compared to front line pressure even with the worst DPS. Diving it still possible, you just don't get to live after, and that way it requires much much less skill. Basically you hide on the frontline, wait for cooldowns, then b-line your target, and use up everything. Then you both die. I don't even use hack, because it's a net loss in DPS.
@@EvanOfTheDarkness I feel like you need hack to kill now. Before the virus buff a few patches ago, when sombra was first reworked I feel like I just needed virus and shoot and I could kill someone
@@nathancasey7712 Hack is a double edge sword. Yes, you do more damage, but you also alert them to your presence, and it can fail if you don't set it up well (which is a pain to do in 5 seconds or less). You cannot kill all heros at full health, but there are a lot you can: Widow, and most 225 HP heros, preferably after they waste their self heal. And by not wasting time with hack, you can usually finish them before the (other) healer has a chance to heal them. I now use hack exclusively on Doomfist and Hamster.
Hot Take: I think Ashe is waaaaay more oppressive than Widow. Girl has the best DPS ult, a gun that is insanely quick in terms of fire rate, and Dynamite punishes playing behind cover (which is one of hitscan dps biggest weakness). Not to mention that her reload animation means you cannot punish her by waiting til she reloads like you could with Widow. Ashe with a good Mercy pocket (with good positioning) is just impossible to dislodge without an extremely coordinated team.
Hot take: junkenstein’s lab is what pickable passives should have been. Some of the more extreme cases would need to be changed if added into the base game, but the difference in gameplay depending on what talent you picked was much better.
HOT Take: They should bring back 2CP!!!! We have so many modes to choose from now, so you would see it way less! Maybe with tweaks to each and, if possible, some sort of map suppressor option where you could choose which maps (maybe limit this amount) to avoid while in queue.
Hot Take: In my opinion, Clash (and Flashpoint to a lesser extent) is the definitive OW2 gamemode due to how it plays. I absolutely adore how fast-paced and chaotic it is, the near-constant battle, all the angles people can show up from, the rush of pushing back after being taken straight to spawn, and how short it is. The fact it can feel so extremely high energy, like you just fought a 20 minute long match when the average match is only around 7-8 minutes? That's the exact experience I picture as OW2 and it's the exact experience I enjoy from the game. I think Hanaoka definitely needs some work but with that and a new map or two, it would easily be my favourite mode in the game
@@_V.Va_ i heavily prefer clash over say flashpoint (I mean I dislike flashpoint very much regardless tho). I will say a big part of that is because it reminds me more of tf2 but also for the reasons said in the op above
I can't stand it. People always throw that game mode by feeding on a point they can't capture instead of locking down the next point. It's really annoying when you're one capture away from winning but your tank keeps feeding and the enemy team brings it all the way back. Plus, I'm not really feeling the maps tbh.
i like the idea of the sombra changes, but she needs some other things then i feel, like maybe some slightly quieter footsteps, and less obvious decloak noise? i saw someone say her invis should be on a meter, and i think thats a waaay better idea
Hot Take: No single hero should have such a dominant presence (like Widow or Hanzo) just because they can one-shot. If the enemy picks Widow and your tank isn't using a shield or your DPS can't win the 1v1 against her, you're basically doomed as Ana. A skilled Widow can completely shut down your sightlines, leaving you with no options.
The sombra rework is a buff if you do everything correctly and make 0 mistakes and always plan 4-8 seconds ahead. This inherently makes it so rhat if u make even a 0.5% of a mistake you just immediately die and get punished. It makes her way to feast or famine and incredibly punnishing for the avarage playerbase who doesnt know how to plan ahead. Ive been having the most success with her when you wait the 5 second duration and dont engage till you have 2 seconds left on your invis. After which you procede to hack then virus which would be around 2seconds. This leaves you with 2 seconds then left to kill the enemy before you can translocate out. Again very punishing if you make a mistake, it forces you to NOT ingage early but instead to basically waste 3 seconds of invis before you become an actual dps
My solution is very simple: just feed. You TP in, aim at head, start shooting, then hit Virus. I'm not willing to time my attack, so when I'm done the only thing left to do is Spray/Emote and T-bag until they kill you. Rinse and repeat. Blizzard can lick my hamster, I won't play by their book. I also don't use hack, and rebound virus to right click because I don't see any point in using it. Even with the pathetic 20% buff it's a net negative in DPS, compared to just shooting the enemy. I'm not going to use a crappy skill, just because they want me to.
I know no one will really see this but here's my hot take: certain legendary skins are worth more in value than mythic skins. 1. When you earn all prisms in the battle pass you got to tier 78 but at tier 80 you earn a legendary. (You have to do more work to get the legendarys that are normally at tier 80 than get all cosmetics for one mythic at tier 78. Not much of a difference at value of work but still) 2. Exclusivity. Yes, blizzard stop selling certain mythics for 2 seasons to give a sence of exclusivity when you bought it when it came out. but with battle pass skins they never return. Some old battle pass skins never return but mythic are always on sale soon or later. 3. You can get mythic skins for absolutely for free but with shop skins you have to pay. Now that the pass give you free ow2 coins either if you pay or don't, you can earn a free battle pass, then when you get free battle pass, then play to earn prisms, then get the mythic skin u want. But with shop skins you have to pay only, giving a sence of exclusivity. What is worth more? A free skin or a paid skin? Thx for reading lol
I can’t see how the Sombra changes are a buff because her backline pressure pretty much doesn’t exist anymore and she is highly vulnerable currently and very risky to play because she now requires more team coordination than ever. The only buffs I could see is how much she can apply damage thanks to opportunist being back and how aggressive you can play with her now vs backline sombra pre-patch. A little off topic, I also think they should start focusing on having more maps for those game modes as opposed to more game modes and I hope this is the case where they do slow down on the modes because quite frankly, I would argue there’s now TOO MANY modes to learn all at once for the average player. After clash’s many iterations over the few months, I think it’s safe to say we need to stop coming out with new modes and just be more consistent on the maps and especially the feedback for characters.
Also her opportunist to have the maximum value you have to rely on two ability’s. Other heros do the same or more damage with low to zero compromises. So whats the point in picking her. Her hack in frontlines usually gets interrupted so it’s by chance that you’ll get to apply pressure in a front line situation.
@@alexbolt5 pretty much, you’re sacrificing a lot to get a mediocre result of which you can easily get more on characters like soldier for example. That said, the only redeeming factor is the aggressive style she has with team play comparable to her passive flank style.
Hot take: Elo Hell is NOT real, but you’ll probably be stuck in your rank for a long time aniway if you are a casual player. Some people don’t understand how the statistics actually work, so here’s an example: Let’s say you are a gold 5 player that should be in plat 5, you need 25 NET wins to climb to your actual rank. With a win rate of 52% your expected value per game is 0,04 which means you will need to play 625 games to climb to plat 5. If the average game (from start to finish including queue time) is 20 minutes, you will need to play for 208 hours If you are playing competitive 5 hours per week you will need almost a year to climb to plat
I can describe the controversy around sombra perfectly, her stats were buff but the mental scar she leaves on enemy supports is nerfed. Not having her be something that could always be in any corner or anywhere behind you. I'm very happy they did this, the pressure she exerted while staying invis and spamming voice lines in the back was insane.
Hot take: They should make clash mode capture points act like they do in Team Fortress 2. Mid point takes longest to cap, second a little faster and the last is the fastest and remove cap unlock timer. The way it is now makes matches artificially longer than it should be.
Hot take: The sombra change was not a response to her power-level (which was admittedly quite low); rather, it was a response to the community use of her. With the addition of perma-invis (and before but not to this extreme), she was being used as a character to target and bully other players, regardless of any attempt to win the game. You can see this with many posts that were made in places like her mains subreddit; people would post about bullying/camping specific enemy players even if it was leading to their own losses. The devs did what was necessary to stop this kind of harrassment. And sombra will still get changes to try and find a Healthy place for her to be in the game.
I've seen comments under this very video showing exactly what I mean. Telling people to throw games to hard-focus widows ("no matter if you die or lose"). These players are why they changed her stealth!
You ask casual players and the number one most hated character is almost always Sombra. She sucks to fight against even if her power-level is low. They definitely killed her old playstyle for sure but in no way was it ever going to stay when stuff like that was happening.
As a Sombra main who's actually been doing pretty well with the new rework.... it's still not a buff. It's pretty bad. The biggest issue is that for a Dive character to be good they need to have the mobility to get in and *a way to escape*. Like, Tracer can use her Blinks to engage, and her Recall to escape. Even characters with only one movement ability have an "escape" move to assist with the disengage; like Winston who uses his Jump to go in and can't use it again until it's off cooldown, but can use his Bubble Shield to buy time for the Jump to come back online. This is why Echo isn't great at diving like some people think she is; if she uses her Flight to engage she has nothing (except if she has her Ultimate) to help her disengage. So this is Sombra's problem now; if she uses her Translocator to go in or take an advanced position, she's stuck until it comes back, and she's already a character that's easy to call out and chase down. What I've been trying to do is play angles more instead of going on dives, like I'd play Echo, but her damage is too low to be of any value if you're not hard-committing on something, meaning I just spend a lot of time in the match doing absolutely nothing helpful at all. The ironic thing is people criticized Sombras running around invisible all the time not doing anything, but a good Sombra could previously use invisibility to set up and drop in at exactly the right time when the teamfight kicked off. Now because you have to wait for your TP cooldown to end, you don't have the freedom to engage when you need to, so the best thing to do IS to stand around doing nothing until you get TP back so you can go in with your escape, which is even WORSE. At the very least cancelling Stealth early should end the TP cooldown early so you can choose your engagement timing better, and I have no idea why it wasn't designed like that. The other ironic thing is a lot of people are cheering her being nerfed because they were sick and tired of being picked off by Sombra when they were caught out by themselves, but Sombra is MUCH better at doing that now thanks to the increased damage. I still eat people alive if they're too dumb to stick with their team. But while grouping up was always strong against her, now it's just pointless to try to go in against a tight group at all. So both Sombra players and people who got ganked all the time by Sombra are now worse off.
There is a loud noise before Sombra stealths now. So there is direct counterplay to her stealth, and if you are not aware for the next 5 seconds then it's your fault if you don't adjust. On the other hand it's unreasonable to keep shooting at thin air for the entire game with permastealth
In regards to sombra, I think that her invisibility should be activated by crouching for a second or two, just like baps boots. Oh, and 5 seconds is way too short, 10 sec is better.
I have a feeling they will increase that window. 5 seconds doesn't even give you the time to run away if your team is wiped. This is especially true on flashpoint maps
Hot Take: The "Hero Fantasy" is the main reason why some characters are impossible to balance. Some characters are doomed from the start because their whole identity revolves around breaking rules/doing things that are unhealthy in a competitive environment. Doesn't matter how you balance them they will always be hated simply because of what they represent Biggest example: Sombra - her whole identity revolves around being this stealthy hacker that assasinates people. Conceptually this is cool, but when place in a multiplayer setting you're basically asking people to cosplay as a cheater that uses underhanded tactics (like taking away player agency) in order to win. I'm sure you know why this just doesnt work in this setting.
@@mariustan9275 The whole point is that the fantasy is not fun for everyone else. Who cares if doom and ball take skill if their entire kit revolves around knocking you around everywhere? Mei’s whole concept is to freeze you, and junk’s whole concept is to throw grenades everywhere. Lol
Hot Take: I feel like they need to shift Sombra's Stealth Movement speed buff to being an out of combat movement speed buff. And/Or give her a method of muting her footsteps. She needs to be able to get on a flank WITHOUT using her translocator, so that she has that cooldown to escape. (I admit this take is probably luke warm at best)
I have a spicy one. Widow is the most balanced damage hero in the game (the most balanced hero imo is Ana btw). Her strength is entirely based on the skill of the player piloting her. I'm a Bronze tank main and I hear my teamates complain about her being broken. I dissagree, Amelie "Widowmaker" Lacroix isn't broken, she's just being piloted by someone who has good aim which honestly is pretty rare in the lower metal ranks. Especially in bronze. Another thing that may contribute to Widow being hated in the metal ranks is cuz they aren't as good at adapting and counterpicking Widow. I understand that the assasin heroes (i.e Tracer, Genji and Sombra) aren't within the average bronze or metal rank player's skill range. Tldr, how strong widow is entirely depends on how good the player piloting her is.
Suggestion: The assault maps could be adjusted and reintegrated by adding a payload between objectives and extending the middle section a bit. Having to push a payload would slow the attacking teams advance after winning first point, and an extended midsection would add more potential chokes for team fights. Plus, since it would be a new mode, it could launch with five maps as opposed to the usual two. Second, smaller suggestion: Bring back moving platforms! They're stupid and fun, but they're missing in ow2 maps.
HOT TAKE: Much of the "balance trouble" in Overwatch stems from each 'role' having too much variation in how it handles their 'job' in a match. CONTEXT: Even when 6v6 comp was present, having teams that didn't "sync" well could fail against a more coordinated team's composition... 5v5 just exaggerated the impact of team dissonance and made gaps between individual player performance more impactful. IE "coordinated" Dive comp with Winston/Kiriko/Tracer vs "uncoordinated" Dive with Winston/Cassidy/Illari - obviously player skill can make anything "work" but the small differences between hero performance *seems* to be related just as much to how team comp works in relation to individual hero choices as it does to whether an individual player is "good with that hero"... Tanks vary between "brawl" or "dive" (etc), dps can be longer-range poke (widow/ashe) or flanking assassins (tracer) or even multi-role (Reaper being brawly but can also flank), even healers can vary wildly in how they provide support to the team... This culminates in a sort of disjointed harmony where simple hero changes can suddenly make a team's comp "click" and I've had numerous games where all it takes is for a 1-2 hero swap that "just works" because of a random factor amongst all those variables *without even considering countering individual enemy heroes*... TLDR: "Counter-watch" on a hero-by-hero basis is less pronounced, but there's still a lot of disparity in overall team comps due to how certain tank/dps/support choices affect their performance as part of the whole.
Hot Take: They should take elements from Clash and put it into 2CP, an attack side and a defenders side like 2cp but three points instead of two that get progressively harder, even keeping the last point as thirds that you have to capture. It would break up the playtime so you only have a few minutes for last point instead of six minutes of beating your head against the wall. It also solves the issue in Clash of players not wanting to attack last point to prevent snowballing when they lose.
hot take : mauga should not be able to fight with double minigun at medium range and should have way more dispertion with the double minigun and cardiac overdrive should be 4 seconds for mauga and last 4 seconds longer only for allies
As a Sombra main, it is a net buff, but only very very slightly. The caveat being it is much harder to play her and there is little room for error. She does feel a lot smoother concerning invis though. There are a dozen small QOL changes I would make to her to make her less clunky, but overall I like her new optimal play style.
Hot take: it’s actually harder to aim kiriko’s heals because of that lock on mechanic and how long you need to hold it for, compared to people like nap or Ana who only need to tap and go
Lukewarm Take: Overwatch 2 lacks a lot of weapon/ability damage information. It would be nice to know how much damage Rein hammer does, or Junkrat projectile. How much does Ana heal for, how much healing/damage does anti-nade do. Instead of having to load into practice range and stare at the healthbar and get a rough estimate, just a simple number below the weapon/ability when you look at hero info would be enough.
Hot take: Mercy Damage Boost hurts the 5v5 layout of the game. Being able to damage boost 1 person throughout the entire game is just crazy to me especially when we are only limited to one tank and we will have to waste our abilities to try and get to the mercy pocket and mercy too.
Crazy that they removed 0.5(?) second from hack because it was not fun or interactive apparently. Yet for the entire duration of OW1, it was apparently completely fine to lock someone for 5 seconds. The sombra/doom matchup was allowed to exists
The same OW1 where Mei could completely freeze people with primary, Ana could sleep tanks for 6 sec, Doom had 3 cc abilities, and more. Several frustrating CC abilities were toned down in OW2, because it was NOT completely fine. That was the whole point.
@@m.artifex2001yet Sigma has a CC ability that locks you out of your abilities, movement, and weapon. So it’s strange that things like that get a pass. But 1.5 interrupt is too difficult for gold/plat players to get over and deal with
A. Sombra's dps was incredibly low in ow1 meaning that even while hacked your character still just flat out had more dps than sombra. I think mercy pistol could actually outdps her. Second it wasn't fine hence why she was reworked in the first place
She did have lower dmg yes, but the rest of the cast didnt. She hacks a Doom or Ball and then 5, not 4, other people could focus them down. They allowed that broken mechanic to exist for 6ish years, yet now they deem 1.5 seconds to be simply too much, antifun and non-interactive and gut it by 33%. It really puts into perspective how bad their design choices have been.
@@OneBrokeBloke actually for the most part they did because most characters have been powercrept since then to have more damage in one way or the other. Second so did the enemy team have 5 other players including another tank that could easily shield and protect anyone that you did hack. Let's just say you hacked soldier 76. Your team depsite you hacking soldier and him having no ablties would lose that team fight considering both teams were of equal skill just because your team just flat out has way less dps. Theoretically even if you hacked a mercy or zen there team would still be at an advantage because once sombra used her hack, she was simply a battle mercy with less damage. This meant sombra had to be really specific with her hacks and when she engaged which keep in mind in ow1 was much harder because she didn't have permeant stealth at first nor did she have permeant translocator so she also had a large downtime on top of her incredibly low damage. In fact she was used more as a support during her orignal life span than a dps and was much harder character to get value out of being of her weaknesses. She was still good depending on the meta but she was no where near as toxic. 6 second hack on a low dps character is much more fair than a 1.5 second hack on a character that can kill you in .5 seconds after hacking you. Makes her way too easy and forgiving especially when you realize unlike old sombra where she had the massive disadvantage of low uptime and damage that took a large amount of game sense to even minimize, new sombra with her improved damage and virus can just transocate and at least provide comaprable damage to what a soldier or gengi can do passively
Hot take: I think the Defense Matrix Initiative is way too severe and promotes avoidance as a conflict management strategy over other more efficient strategies like collaboration, compromise, and accommodation. It also incentivizes over-reporting. Competition and cooperation in a competitive shooter can cause a lot of heated arguments, and if you get muted or suspended, an extremely generic reason is given, not giving you any clue on what exact behavior was reported and flagged by an AI (because we damn know they put some language model in charge of reviewing reports and sanctioning accounts). So what are you supposed to do? Mute those players? Leave voice chat? This is not efficient conflict management. I think the report system is used incorrectly and should be used exclusively for disruptive behavior. If something is considered disruptive, then it should be stated with the account action, helping players become better persons.
I like Push & Flashpoint, I think Clash is okay at times but definitely needs just a little more work from the devs. Unless they cook up something crazy good I think expanding on already existing gamemodes with more maps is a must - I also think 2CP could make a comeback with a bit of work (maybe throw it back into QP to gauge reactions before putting it back into comp?).
Hot Take: Certain heroes should remain bad until something fundamentally changes in their kit. Good examples are Mauga, Hog, and Orisa, I don't remember anyone having a good time when those 3 were strong picks.
Yea, the Sombra changes are a nerf. She can kill better, but that doesn’t necessarily mean her buff is overly beneficial. Her way to engage a target is now directly attached to her escape option which makes her really bad at flanking. Specifically because if you flank with her, It’s committal. Tracer can blink out or recall. Genji and dash in or out, wall climb and also has deflect to mitigate risk. Sombra just has translocator now. If you play her as a frontline with your team you can do pretty well, but it’s not as engaging because she plays like 76, but with setup. They;re my favorite character and the reason I got into Overwatch so I’ll still play her, but she’s definitely weaker atm.
Hot take: The sombra rework was a 100% for the metal ranks. She hasn’t been strong since the rework, people would just rather keep complaining than figure out how to improve. Now we’ll have widow running lobbies with less options to counter her. Fun !
Hot-take: We should have access to the holiday event pve modes all year round. I want competitive Lucioball year-round. I want to push for top 500 in the Uprising, Archives and Junkenstien's Revenge modes year-round. They can be super relaxing to wind down with and super sweaty to push for a top 500 leaderboard score with. They are such amazing game modes, since PVE is apparently not coming to OW2, at least let us play these modes whenever we want.
I would like to see a carry-the-bomb mode in arcade. It's like the opposite of capture the flag, where you have to take something to the enemy base. Halo had it and I think called it assault, and it was a fun twist.
Hot take: Blizzard shpuls switch their skin releases to group cyles where characters are put in a groups, and each group gets akina throughout the season. This will not only reduce the overall complaining that x characters only gets skins while y character gets non. One group ia deligated to the battlepass and 2 others are for shop, and 2 others are for events. Thisnwill help in all characters recieving skins throughout a season and reduce the same character skin polution. It can rotate each season/mid season patch which groups are where and what characters are in said groups.
Cold Take: A super nerfed Sombra is better than a super buffed Sombra. Because Sombra is the type of character where the player has a good time but everyone else doesn't, opinions on that aside, it means that if you buff her too much, more people will have a worse experience than if you nerfed her too much.
hot take: they need to rework the echo duplicate animation, every time you copy someone in front of them (every time cuz of los check) you just stand there completely still and give everyone free headshots which is just dumb
Sombras translocator should be tied to when sombra leaves invisibility instead. Sometimes you have an opportunity but you still have 6 seconds before the locater is back so you just helplessly watch the game unfold 😢
I find myself enjoying Push much more in unranked because it feels like a casual game mode. Competitively its so frustrating. I do enjoy how Clash is using the old 2CP maps (even if the mode can be frustrating) and Flashpoint is fun. But yea, the new gamemodes do feel more casual oriented than comp.
I play a support main now because before role queue I HAD to play support or we'd never have one. Interestingly now playing Open role I pretty much have to play Tank because they're so dominant against all squishies you barely have to try. Just yesterday I played Winston, we had three DPS (Genji, Tracer, Widow) and a support Moira. The other team had four DPS and a support. We were rolling easily on Eichenvalde for two points, then the last point all four of their DPS switched to Tanks and we could do absolutely nothing, just got dumped on for five minutes. Both the Genji and Tracer went from massively positive K/Ds to negative. I was 15 and six thanks to our Moira and of course our Widow did nothing shooting at four Tanks.
Hot take: If a character gets a rework, allow players who have their Golden weapon a chance to refund or trade back the comp currency. - thought this since OW2 released as I have Doom golden weapon since game 1
Sombra reworked could have worked a bit better if they made it like genji, if they made her translocator reset upon a kill, encouraging her to get a kill in order to escape
Hot Take: Moira should damage herself the longer she holds down her grasp, this would play into her voice lines where she says “pain is everything” and stuff like that
But you would need to buff the enemy damage to make up for it. Also the reason why you don't hold it down the entire game is because it can give away your exact position in some cases
sombra now needs more support from the team and she is a only 225 HP hero, but even you fight with the team, the resources are not given to sombra and she could give limited effort as a recycle in a bad way
hot take: sym is much more annoying to play against than sombra and always has been. her ~hero identity~ is that she adds admin to the game in her stupid little turrets that add a task to the game like i've just opened among us in the middle of a team fight. i'd much rather deal with an invisible assassin who at least has sound cues than getting melted because whatever you decide takes priority in the moment, you're still getting beamed.
I agree we dont need MORE modes but i personally like clash, flashpoint, and push in the mix. No problem with them adding more maps although i think they need to be quicker to fix issues with those maps.
@18:12 i always find this funny that people cry when mor has damage. They fail to understand, a single damage orb is a ton of damage and if you DON'T do damage orbs, you run out of heals REAL FAST.... they designed her to do damage in order to BUFF her healing... in 75% of cases, i find damage orb to be better. Also in the middle of a fight, i ain't gunna stand there with my thumb up my ass waiting to gain heal charge. I am going to RIGHT CLICK and regen my healing ability.
Here's how u balance widow. Give her no damage fall off, she can 1 click at any range. BUT make it so she can't be damage boosted by mercy or Nano. Give her 50 health Make her a TRUE glass cannon. If she's capable of one shotting almost anyone, she needs to be susceptible to being one shot by almost anyone
if i were to fix the sombra rework i’d give her a few seconds of stealth after getting an elim (like 3-5). if that proves to be too strong, then make it exclusive to elims on targets that are hacked or virused. idk if she could have this along with opportunist in its current state, but imo it would alleviate her issue of not being able to get out without making her incredibly frustrating to play against like before and i’d happily take it over current opportunist if i had to pick. maybe just get rid of the 20% damage boost in favor of this?
Hot take - need at the very least 100 avoid slots that don't expire to avoid all the actual bots on the middle east comp servers. My avoid list is almost always 7 days fresh with default icon 1 endorsement bots named like navyogre.i have personally reported more that 100s of these accounts and none of them get banned.
But I see where they’re coming from, I’ve had some games where the team loves to fight on my hacked health packs so I’m constantly getting heal numbers and “Saved Player” notifications
It's not just Sombra, but the Ramattra change was actually a buff too. Instead of merely piercing barriers, outright breaking them (in like only 4 punches no less) and forcing them to recharge is...just better? He's still a great pick against shield tanks.
Hot take: They need to just throw out all of Orisa's abilities and start over with her again. Her cooldowns all feel terrible to fight, her ultimate feels terrible to use, and she overall feels like she doesn't know if she wants to be a poke tank or a brawl tank. IMO she should be reworked into a dedicated poke tank since Sigma kind of feels like the only one of those right now.
Ow1 Orisa had clear strengths and weaknesses, this one doesn’t. Her biggest weakness is having, arguably, selfish abilities meaning you can go for her allies first ig, but you can do that with all the others too. So yeah, rework is needed I agree. Same kind of deal with Mauga too now that I think about it, very selfish playstyle.
I don't fully agree, but I'm also not opposed to seeing Orisa be iterated on. I really liked them changing Orisa from a defensive tank to an offensive one and find her "warrior" playstyle pretty damn fun. She's way more engaging than just sitting behind her shield and spamming primary fire. I saw someone suggest they remove her spin, but thats her replacement for her barrier which can be easily countered by beams. Instead I think they should revert the spear throw back to her pull orb from OW1 and give her damage fall off again. Her spear lets her do a bit too much from afar, whereas the orb wouldn't be as oppressive and encourage her to get closer to do more damage. Her new ult I could give or take. I've learned how to make it work but also miss her Supercharger.
sombra main here, no shes def nerfed... but nerfs aside, whats really worse is that she feels CLUNKY ASF to play as, even perm invis was surprisingly FAR LESS clunky then her current rework, they executed her big time. shes back to being a throw pick just for the clunky-ness alone, specifically her translocator/invis nerfs

@@0li-0li28 she gets counter by brick wall
tbf no one told you to just W choke points, you can scout out a widow if youre not lazy
@@MasterMemo bronze is at least 20%

10:25 Hot take: The comp drive DID encourage you to throw games. The drive rewarded you specifically for going on a winning streak, so that you could get to the next checkpoint. If you win-lose-win-lose-repeat, you went nowhere with your points, and it was incredibly frustrating. The best strategy was to throw a bunch of games, lower your ELO, and then go on a big win streak to reach the next checkpoint.
(btw, they changed it halfway so wins and losses were equally weighted in drive points, this only made the win-loss-win-loss problem even worse).
I actually had the same thought during the drive that some people might throw beforehand or during so that they can get easier streaks for the longer stretches.
i got really lucky with a winstreak good enough to move me up a metal rank to plat
i then went back to gold once the drive stopped and the good players went back to QP and couldnt carry me anymore

@@bobothebob4716ive seen people legitimately suggesting giving mercy a rifle to healthily remove dmg boost, or fixing ball by making him not… ROLL?
Crazy how when the devs say they’re moving the game towards other fps gameplay, and they make the game 5v5, remove cc (only on heroes that actually need it) and push a bunch of reworks on lower play rate heroes nobody bats an eye. But then it’s YOUR hero getting a shit rework and all of a sudden we don’t know why the devs are going this route. Not trying to be toxic but like they’ve been doing this since ow2 launched. It’s not new.
Isn’t her whole identity her hack? She’s a hacker. Please don’t forget about her ability “hack.”
Good point, revert her hack lockout duration nerf from the rework and i think it's a step in the right direction
The sombras that liked shooting and frontlining a bit are still kinda eating out here
If I wanted to play Soldier 76, I would pick him. I played Sombra because I loved the playstyle. The Sombra 76 playstyle just sucks.
@@MisterSmith27 this, this foreal, jfc
Why were Sombras front lining? That's like front lining as Genji or Tracer. You could do that, and there were reasons, but why would you choose that?
Edit: Moreso a suggestion than a take
This is a really good idea actually
9:30 I wish we had 2CP back. I actually enjoyed the mode during the old Overwatch.
Bro actually 2CP was way better than the new modes we have now.
Now this is a hot take
I have no idea how people miss 2cp. It's either a 1 minute stomp or minutes on end of stalemate. At least the new core modes have back and forth.
Hear me out... 3CP, baby. Boom. I said it
The comp drive Smurf thing is true.
Ramm has 2 completely different forms, but 1 small alter to 1 attack and "hes lost his identity".
the people who said punching through shield was his identity lmfao
You are absolutely right, but sombra now actually just lost her hero identity
Dang, my enemy sombras just tried to kill me a couple times, failed and then switched characters.
@@EvanOfTheDarkness Yeah I feel that.
“League players can be trusted” IS the hottest take . No they can’t !
Give Sombra a final blow passive that rest translocator cd
Hot Take: I think Ashe is waaaaay more oppressive than Widow. Girl has the best DPS ult, a gun that is insanely quick in terms of fire rate, and Dynamite punishes playing behind cover (which is one of hitscan dps biggest weakness). Not to mention that her reload animation means you cannot punish her by waiting til she reloads like you could with Widow.
Ashe with a good Mercy pocket (with good positioning) is just impossible to dislodge without an extremely coordinated team.
Hot take: Throne of Anubis is the superior clash map. My favourite clash games are long games on Anubis, I find it very fun
Hot take: junkenstein’s lab is what pickable passives should have been. Some of the more extreme cases would need to be changed if added into the base game, but the difference in gameplay depending on what talent you picked was much better.
It really reminds me off paladins
Finally, some Clash Enjoyers.
@@_V.Va_ i heavily prefer clash over say flashpoint (I mean I dislike flashpoint very much regardless tho). I will say a big part of that is because it reminds me more of tf2 but also for the reasons said in the op above
I'm glad you enjoy it but keep that mode away from me at absolutely all times
I'm not going to use a crappy skill, just because they want me to.
average doomfist thoughts process
I know no one will really see this but here's my hot take: certain legendary skins are worth more in value than mythic skins.
1. When you earn all prisms in the battle pass you got to tier 78 but at tier 80 you earn a legendary. (You have to do more work to get the legendarys that are normally at tier 80 than get all cosmetics for one mythic at tier 78. Not much of a difference at value of work but still)
Some people don’t understand how the statistics actually work, so here’s an example:
Let’s say you are a gold 5 player that should be in plat 5, you need 25 NET wins to climb to your actual rank. With a win rate of 52% your expected value per game is 0,04 which means you will need to play 625 games to climb to plat 5. If the average game (from start to finish including queue time) is 20 minutes, you will need to play for 208 hours
If you are playing competitive 5 hours per week you will need almost a year to climb to plat
@@Aregulargameplayer Its Widow for me
As a Sombra main who's actually been doing pretty well with the new rework.... it's still not a buff.
Hot Take:
The "Hero Fantasy" is the main reason why some characters are impossible to balance.
Some characters are doomed from the start because their whole identity revolves around breaking rules/doing things that are unhealthy in a competitive environment.
Doesn't matter how you balance them they will always be hated simply because of what they represent
Biggest example:
Sombra - her whole identity revolves around being this stealthy hacker that assasinates people. Conceptually this is cool, but when place in a multiplayer setting you're basically asking people to cosplay as a cheater that uses underhanded tactics (like taking away player agency) in order to win. I'm sure you know why this just doesnt work in this setting.
Ball, doom, hog, mei, junk, etc.
@@TV-vz7rfIdk the DPS there feel fair. Doomfist and Ball at least take skill to do annoying stuff.
Lol
And yet it worked right until they reworked in in OW2.
@@TV-vz7rfball and doom have incredibly high skill floors. So if they own you it feels much more fair than sombra
That individual with the scorching hot take that Dragonblade is the worst ult in the game seems to have forgotten that Hanzo ult exists.
2:18 as a brig main, I would take make sombras vs more widows any day.
Can they revert the sombra changes ? Or at least put invis on a different button so u can set up with invis then engage and tp if u need to
HOT TAKE: Much of the "balance trouble" in Overwatch stems from each 'role' having too much variation in how it handles their 'job' in a match.
0:35 BASED KARQ, lmfao
Hot take: it’s actually harder to aim kiriko’s heals because of that lock on mechanic and how long you need to hold it for, compared to people like nap or Ana who only need to tap and go
Hot take: KarQ should include a guest streamer if they’re down for the occasional hot take videos to get more opinions on a few topics!
7:16
funny, if you go open queue and do "actual team comp" (I guess he means 1-2-2), you will get shit on by 3-0-2 or 4-0-1 even lol
Guy was cooking whenever he said we didn't need new modes. Clash and push are terrible
Push is my favorite. One map, one goal, one timer, one overtime.
I absolutely hate Escort in comp and having to play 2-4 full matches.
Hot take/suggestion box: Moira should be able to use health packs to fuel her heal meter. To avoid those times you are out of healing resources.
My avoid list is reserved only for tanks because a bad tank can throw a game just by themselves.
I just wish the comp drive was a week long instead of only a weekend. Some people dont have the weekends off to play that much at a time
Does anyone have the link that shows it's technically not worth it to hack targets before doing damage anymore? I want to check something.
Sombra reworked could have worked a bit better if they made it like genji, if they made her translocator reset upon a kill, encouraging her to get a kill in order to escape
Hot Take: Moira should damage herself the longer she holds down her grasp, this would play into her voice lines where she says “pain is everything” and stuff like that
Plus it fits her lore since experimenting on herself is making her wither away
also, reaper and moira should deal more damage to each other cuz of similar powers
Damn the lore aspect is sick here. Good take. I don’t like it kuz if I’m getting dove I will use Moira as a last ditch. Still sick though.
But you would need to buff the enemy damage to make up for it. Also the reason why you don't hold it down the entire game is because it can give away your exact position in some cases
found the silver genji lol
HOT TAKE:
Junks Labratory arcade mode is basically a SLIGHTLY different version of Paladins main game
sombra now needs more support from the team and she is a only 225 HP hero, but even you fight with the team, the resources are not given to sombra and she could give limited effort as a recycle in a bad way
What if they give Sombra Trans 2 charges with the same 7 sec recharge? (Charges = like Brig med packs)
Hot take: ramattra might be still good with the pummle rework but he just feels worse to play since its not satisfying to just punch walls
hot take: sym is much more annoying to play against than sombra and always has been. her ~hero identity~ is that she adds admin to the game in her stupid little turrets that add a task to the game like i've just opened among us in the middle of a team fight. i'd much rather deal with an invisible assassin who at least has sound cues than getting melted because whatever you decide takes priority in the moment, you're still getting beamed.
Give her 50 health
Make her a TRUE glass cannon.
People absolutely smurfed during drive. It was fucking torture
2CP in QP is a fine mode and never should of been removed.
They don’t care about genji. They keep microbuffing bob yet never touch genji
What I learned from the blade ult discussion is that dps is the worst role
Clash last point is just 2cp. You have to defend waves of respawn in front of the enemy door.
just have hack heal team mates and bam she is a support
HT: Balance should be prioritized for gold and platinum players, as they are the majority. This works more since OWL is not a thing anymore.
Hot Take: introduce a competitive team deathmatch.
16:55 I really hate how in Mirrorwatch they couldn’t/wouldn’t get the Sombra voice actor to record “¡Prendiendo las luces!”
He's still a great pick against shield tanks.
what is the person at 9:00 talking about? control has been in the game since release
Man new orisa is so annoying
