Does your machine make a strange noise after you finish steaming the milk? Mine does every time it's like a pump noise with a light tremor, I find it a bit weird special since it's a brand new unit. It's the same if I use hot water as well. Any idea if that's normal?
My barista max won't turn on today ... Light is on at milk station but main button lights won't come on.. have you guys any idea what to do , no where in instructions does it have this problem please help , machine only 11 mths old .. thank you
Unfortunately my knowledge with the barista Max is minimal. I have read that it's more problematic than breville in terms of longevity, but I don't know how true that is.

I recommend sitting it on the bench correctly so that the feet aren’t overhanging.
That would be the right way to place it, this placement in the video was just temporary

Express is metal shell on plastic. This one (max) had metal on front panel and plastic sides
