I was also thinking like an alternate spinoff sequel with the action/comedy Genre which directly takes place after the second movie in which an adult Kevin was enlisted in the military in which he takes on terrorists in a comical manner...

I have to admit the 1st traps were funny but the 2nd movie's traps were horrific. I didn't laugh at them when I was a kid but I laughed at the 1st movie's traps. I was more horrified at the 2nd movie's traps when I was a kid. Damn... Kevin became a psychopath in the second movie...

My theory is that Kevin felt guilty of hurting Harry and Marv so bad and became a surgeon to heal people and John was one of his patients. Putting your head in Kerosene while it's on fire would kill you. Falling that far then being knocked with paint cans would kill you (or at least break a several bones....Not to mention getting hit straight on with a paint can would absolutely knock you out.....But, through the magic of movies, not of it phases the wet bandits :)

Good list, but I think the nut shot, the spider-face, and the brick scene should have at least been an honorable mention. For me I would have put those on my top 10 list, and the number 1 spot would be the brick scene because of how brutal and funny it is.

Then he gets up tells Harry not to move, then tries to smash the spider with a crowbar, only whacking Harry in the chest.
Wow. Merve and Harry are indestructible. Despite they luck, they have an incredible durability. Like name another everyday human shaking off a 3 story drop, their head on fire, a drying iron dropped a story landing on their face, more slips and paint can flown Into their faces than you cans count, and a point blank explosion to the face. Shall I go on?
Elect 6339 No normal human being could survive any of this but characters from the Fast & Furious movies can survive explosions, 40 ft falls from buildings, and car wrecks from a 50 ft mountain. I’m sure they can survive the Home Alone traps if put in that situation.
I think this might be one of the most perfectly cast films. As fun as the traps are, without the three main character's reactions, the film wouldn't be half as memorable as it is.

What always got me with the electrical sink trap is the scene right afterwards when you see him crawling around with fumes all around, shaking from every bone in his body, his hair blown away and his girly voice calling up for Harry. That's why I would have put it #1 lol
The traps, What A Hole, Dumb as a doorknob, Paint It Black... And Blue, Nailed it, That Sinking Feeling, Glued and Feathered and Baptism By Fire are my favorites and they're still excellent.
