A few takeways #1 PATIENCE: you may have to make a few, or several offers before finding the home seller that WILL budge on price. #2 COMPS: Come armed with as many comparables as possible to support YOUR reasoning on price #3 BE NICE: I find that not being a jerk, explaining someones situation, and reasoning that it's the best you can do despite comps not supporting the price- can help win you the home! As always, if you need help with your home buying or selling in Seattle/Bellevue you can contact me at monicachurchrealestate.com/
Monica, my best memory of my Mother is her advice, "the Answer to every question is NO, unless you Ask!" its the best advice I ever received! Never say never. So happy for your positive outlook!
I’ve bought three homes in my lifetime and not once did anybody demand a down-payment. They ask if I WANT to put anything down and I say “Nupe” and bought the house. Why waste money renting while saving and saving for that “down-payment” when you can just buy today???
So very thrilled for your clients and YOU--so awesome Monica!!!! You are an amazing person, agent and friend to/for everyone!! Words can't possibly express how much epically amazing you truly are!!
I don’t live in Seattle but this video was interesting and informative. I’m looking to buy a home next year so learning all about the process, things to look for, and tips are greatly appreciated.
There still are some homes! Single family homes that are priced competitively in the median range around 700k-1 million in Seattle still get several offers.
a big big call out for the insignia unit in question, the reason why it was already so much cheaper than how much they bought for is because they grossly overpaid for views of lake union, but due to the construction of a new 30+ story building, that unit will get no views, no sunlight, no privacy. previous buyers likely didnt realize all that so they got in a rush to get rid of it
100% yes. Staging helps SO much. I typically pay for it or atleast split the price with my sellers. I have staging furniture as well that I bring into some homes.

Amazing job, happy for your buyers. Lovely to see the homes as well, Seattle is beautiful!

Seller/closing credits, never heard of those 🤔so this was an educational video 🙂
I love hearing these success stories!
Is there no more bidding wars and overpaying for a house? Hahah. I remember when I bought my house in 2021 there were bidding wars. I paid 15k over.

Weirdly, in Portland we still multiple offers in many neighborhoods!😅
I remember when Enso units were going for ~$250K (10 years ago?). 😭

Im interested in preconstruction deals for flipping also auctions and foreclosures.
Is it really above and beyond to have a Tesla specific charger? Are they compatible with other electric vehicles?
I bought in December and I did get a good deal up in Everett.
Nice, video Monica
Score! Way to go Monica!
Love your socks😉
Hey hope you’re doing well I miss you!!
1.2 mil for the apartment, this is so out of touch for most of people.
Do you recommend the seller to stage their property for photos to list their house?

Well done, Monica. You must be number one salesperson in Seattle or pretty close. People will be talking about you especially other agents! 🦘🦘
