Thank you for clarifying! Nice video, really good teaching this is something that we need to keep in mind always and the word of God is really important and valuable. Ministering to the saints or the good soil needs to be talked about more! Galatians 6:10 talks about giving to the household of faith
This was a great video and good use of scripture to illustrate your points! I hear the line “you are casting stones,” when preaching repentance. Calling out sin is NOT casting stones. They take that passage out of context and twist the words of God as they do the rest of the scriptures because they are NOT of God. John 8 Jesus says go and sin no more. Was Jesus casting stones there? That phrase was about literally putting someone to death by stones too. God bless Adam!
Matthew 7:6 teaches us to be discerning in sharing spiritual truths, reminding us not to give "pearls to pigs"-those who are hostile or dismissive of the gospel. This reinforces the idea that we have no duty to save anyone, as only God can grant salvation. Our role is to faithfully proclaim the message, but we must do so wisely, without forcing it upon those who are unwilling or hardened. Ultimately, salvation is God's work, and we are simply instruments, responsible for sharing the truth, not for saving souls. Thanks for the excellent teaching.

Brother Adam, I think you're in good company so to speak... This exhortation reminded me of The Epistle of Barnabas Chapter 10. Spiritual significance of the precepts of Moses respecting different kinds of food: "Now, wherefore did Moses say, You shall not eat the swine, nor the eagle, nor the hawk, nor the raven, nor any fish which is not possessed of scales? He embraced three doctrines in his mind [in doing so]. Moreover, the Lord says to them in Deuteronomy, And I will establish my ordinances among this people. Deuteronomy 4:1 Is there then not a command of God they should not eat [these things]? There is, but Moses spoke with a spiritual reference. For this reason he named the swine, as much as to say, You shall not join yourself to men who resemble swine. For when they live in pleasure, they forget their Lord; but when they come to want, they acknowledge the Lord. And [in like manner] the swine, when it has eaten, does not recognize its master; but when hungry it cries out, and on receiving food is quiet again. Neither shall you eat, says he the eagle,..." Dont be like these people or join yourself with them... and this is why... Beautiful! 🙏
I've definitely noticed this, having close people that were part of the "spiritual but not religious" crowd. Or they may push back with only "That's harsh" when challenged with Scripture. It is an area that requires so much prayer and wisdom. But the Bible also says to not waste too much time on such cases.
@@MrCB555 yup, or those who are always crying for tolerance and love and do not want to talk about all that pesky doctrine stuff, that is another way you can tell you are not dealing with a sheep. God’s sheep WANT to dig into God’s word. They are usually saying things like “doctrine divides, love unifies”.
@@abideintheWord I've seen things like that. Or "Given the choice between love and doctrine, I'll choose love." This ignores the fact that God even calls heresy a sin, along with homosexuality, pride, greed, lust, etc. Love itself is a doctrine, defined in 1. Corinthians and elsewhere. Or something like "Love only. The rest is doctrine." Okay then, so, if all we have to do is love, why not love and accept me, who believes in the Biblical doctrine of baptism? Another thing too, is that I have come across sincere Muslims and people of other faiths who genuinely show kindness and love towards others (Mufti Menk on TH-cam is one). But does that love save them? No, it doesn't. Then they need to believe in and accept the doctrine of Christ. The big one I've heard is "God is bigger than the Great Commission." So, even though Jesus commanded the Disciples to preach the Gospel, God is somehow bigger than that, He will accept everyone, and we don't need to do what He commands us. Truly astounding.
The absolute worst are the ones who will provide cover and a smokescreen for the swine. "Maybe if you hadn't given up on them they would come to faith..." "How do you know God didn't want you to keep talking with them?" etc. The absolute WORST.

@@SalsaSippin_ hmm, interesting. I’m not quite sure. I know that Greek words can sometimes be translated multiple different ways, but I’m not sure if that would change any doctrine or not.
It doesn't change anything at all. "In the beginning was that Word and that Word was with God and that Word was God." It's still a definite article and changes nothing other than points MORE specifically at Jesus as THAT 👉🏻 Word 👈🏻 💝
It's helpful if you keep reading because it goes on to say that the Word (that has been being referenced in the text) became flesh and dwelt amongst us 💪🏻
You mentioned John 12:47-48. This is true because Jesus is the Word made flesh so how can we say we believe and accept Jesus yet we reject his words or have no high regards for it except that we are deceived? John 1:14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. This is why there is such a push by some to turn people away from the written word in the guise of being led by the Spirit but thank God that the Spirit is truth and the word is also truth THEREFORE MAKING the SPIRIT and the WORD one.... 1 John 5:6 This is he that came by water and blood, even Jesus Christ; not by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit that beareth witness, because the SPIRIT IS TRUTH.
