    Doesn’t get any better than this, peak of towing hitch technology.

    I like that lock being keyed same as truck; never heard of that. Think I’m going to get the B&W . Just bought a new ‘23 F350 6.8. Great video.

    For a hitch pin lock; I just use a grade 8, 5/8 bolt and nut with washer and lock washer. I crank that on and it stronger than hitch pin lock. But changes hitches you have to make sure you keep tools on you.

    Hi, nice setup. Can you add a pintle to this setup?

    Bought the Hammerlock links but the pin was a pain in the rear because the spacer and pin does not have arrows indicating direction to install. The pin will not go in If you don't do it right. One of my links is only half way pinned for now. I'll try again tomorrow even though the pin has a mushroom shape as many times that i have pounded on it.

    Thank you for the video. I just bought the same hitch recently. I noticed that the 7" drop may be too low to the ground. Do you know how close to the floor the bottom of the hitch is? I think instructions say it cannot be lower than 11". Mine sits 10.5"...thinking of returning it. I have a 2022 Lariat F-250 6.7.

      I have the same question. I have a new F 350 and wondering if 5 or 7” would be best

      @@SuperDuty23XL Hi Bill, i called B&W in April. They told me to return the 7” drop and use the 5” Hitch. The hitch should not be too close to the floor or it will drag. The 5” i am using now has been perfect. Let me know if you have any more questions

      5" or 7" back up to your trailers and measure to see how much you need

      Sorry I saw the answer to this in another comment about getting it stolen

    There appears to be notches in the slide area. If you drop the ball down and bring slide it up the back side, can you align the adjustable part be removed from the drop bar? I know you lock the hitch to the truck but does the slide section need to be locked as well or is somehow non removable?

    • @PatriotDIY
      @PatriotDIY  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      It's not removable, it swivels around to the back but does not drop off the bottom

    • @jaysonlavery3723
      @jaysonlavery3723 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I believe the hitch has to be removed from the truck to slide the adjustable part off the drop bar

  • @lilrockfromga5092

    Is there a way to lock the balls from being stolen

    • @PatriotDIY
      @PatriotDIY  ปีที่แล้ว +6

      The balls are not removable from the hitch, so as long as the hitch is locked the ball can't be stolen

    Just make it a three inch hitch standard for all trucks and trailers shesh
    It's not like you'll save gas, tires and engine life lol
    It's a scam 🤪

      Never scraped on me. My truck sits high and I have airbags to level it when it's under a load

    WARNING: 2023 F-250 here, side cut key. 2023 FORD F-250 keys do NOT - I repeat, ***DO NOT*** fit the hitch lock this guy is pimping. You're better off getting the B&W Hitch lock.
